There are only two more days in July, and that means there are only two more days in the July readings special.
I'll be in transit mid-August, and I won't be scheduling regular readings - unless it's a total emergency and you just NEED some Willow astro attention. Heh. In that case, we'll work something out. Otherwise, I'll be available again mid-September just as I'm settling into my new longitude/latitude.
My newsletter article for The Phoenix File is about to come out August 1.
And I will be selling my jewellery at Magnolia Flower Boutique in Carnduff, Saskatchewan August 25 and 26. I'm not sure how many readers I have from Southeast Sask, but if anyone is in the neighbourhood, please feel free to stop in and check out the wares.

Entering 48 Hours of Wayyyy Too Much Virgo
...in light of the fact that we have just spent the past 2.5 arduous years with Saturn in Virgo, that is.
Despite now being locked into pressurizing, constricting and stressing cardinal t-square energy, Saturn trudging its way out of Virgo and into Libra last Wednesday was still very welcome news for most.
But now we've got the personal planets and an asteroid travelling through Saturn's wake - Mars, Venus, Vesta and, starting tomorrow, Mercury are all in the sign of the virgin. Merc will retrograde in this sign, also - August 20 - September 12. We're in the degrees of its retrograde shadow by August 1. Try to complete as much as you can between now and then or you'll be going back over it.
This is way too much Virgo at this point. Seriously.
A quick aligning check to make sure we're personally working all those Virgo themes we've been hammered on.
Luckily, the way too much Virgo vibe lightens considerably when Mars enters Libra July 29 (5:46 p.m. MT).
If you can call an immediate Mars-Saturn conjunction and Mars-Uranus opposition lightening.
You know what? After my Saturn in Virgo experience, I can. I really can.

Jupiter in Aries Puts the Brakes On and Slides Backward Into a Square With Pluto
The quick burst of fiery forward expansion and movement we experienced as Jupiter and Uranus transited Aries over the past couple months has just come to a creaking halt. Jupiter went retrograde in Aries yesterday morning, joining Uranus, and our earliest of Arien progress is now being fused into place (or discarded if it is not to Pluto's liking) by a square to Pluto in Capricorn tonight at 10:20 p.m. Mountain.
We've reached an initial landing point, anchored a crucial starting place for next spring. The Sun in Aries 2011 is our grandscale birth point - at that time, we've reached daybreak, although we do not yet know what the light of day will reveal.
We're just finishing the planting of the initial seed points for the next five years with a six-week cardinal t-square on the early degrees along with the fifth and final Saturn-Uranus opposition July 26. We can all breathe a sigh of relief that that opposition cycle is completing, but we have to make it a quick one - we're being propelled into new territory on multiple fronts. Things are not as they were, and we're getting an instinctual feel for what that means moving forward.
At the same time, we are gradually moving back over this earliest of new territory and into the swampy, highly karmic morass of tail-end Pisces at the tail-end astrological Piscean era. Believe me. Very few of us are looking forward to this. But re-enter it we must. Because we never really left. There is mucho unfinished business – mostly collective, but also personal – including that little situation going on in the Gulf of Mexico. You might have heard something about it?
The reality of this situation has yet to sink in for many (a big part of which being the manipulation of related information through the media), but Jupiter and Uranus transiting back into the last degrees of Pisces – the last degrees of the astrological zodiac – will be a heavy reminder. Uranus Rx re-enters Pisces August 13 and Jupiter Rx September 8.
We're all antsy for movement, but for those who have not yet been released from the inertia and heaviness of two-and-a-half years of Saturn in Virgo opposite Uranus in Pisces, the traversing of Jupiter and Uranus of late Pisces will be a last drawing on of spiritual guidance. Hitting the final marks that click disparate parts into place and light us up with the full Piscean understanding of the situation of life on this planet. In particular, the connection of states of being and shared suffering around the world.
Once infused with this grand finale Piscean awareness, we are given some time to come to a state of acceptance before being spurred fully into new actions and directions indicated by Jupiter (January 2011) and then Uranus (March 2011) re-entering Aries.
As Jupiter and Uranus move back into late Pisces, keeping an eye firmly on our spiritual reasons for being here during these times, as well as on the impermanence of our trips, can help us find the courage to stay effective in the current moment while elevating us out of the oily, toxic mess threatening to pull us under.
We're in a period of potent and dynamic change and upheaval – indicated astrologically by the cycle of squares between Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn (coming to exactness between June 2012 and March 2015). Think late-1920s/1930s vibe – the last time Uranus was in Aries, at that time squaring Pluto in Cancer.
Those who have not adjusted accordingly their actions, goals and personal directions in light of the stark and disturbing information Pluto has been throwing up into collective awareness from Capricorn for the past couple years will have a rough time of these squares. For people still in denial of the collective situation with which we find ourselves confronted on this planet, still attached to a 'business as usual' way of life, these squares will provide wake-up calls, at times unpleasant.
For those who have keyed in to the energy of what is being unearthed by Pluto's transit of Capricorn and have done their best to adjust accordingly, things should have a smoother tenor. As smooth as possible, anyway, which is still not all that smooth, in my estimation.
There is a real soul reckoning afoot. Those complicit within corrupt and murderous structures, those cutting corners, those looking the other way or skimming by while reaping the rewards for doing so are going to be faced with some major decisions about what is truly important to them during their trip to this little planet.
Saturn has just entered Libra (July 21) until October 2012, and our challenges now turn to relationship, social justice and the balanced, working partnership of feminine and masculine. The vehicle for the achievement of our highest potential shifts from self-improvement and mastery (Virgo) to working for balance, harmony and justice through relationship with others (Libra).
With a third and final square to Pluto in Capricorn August 21, the awareness of abusive patriarchal power structures is pushed to the surface, and we have the ability to become conscious of the influence of them in our lives while working to build something more dignified and fair (Libra). This is not going to happen overnight, of course. These are deeply embedded power dynamics that will require a great deal of effort and conscious awareness to shift. But the next two years of Saturn in Libra, followed by a period of mutual reception between Saturn in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn until September 2015, will give us a good start.
Saturn is the planet of, among other things, karmic challenges. Pluto is the sign of collective power dynamics and the necessary transformation of those dynamics. The influence of both these bodies indicates that it is some serious and long-standing karmic territory we are now traversing. Only a full commitment to getting down to brass tacks together, in a loving, mutually-supportive way, is going to go deep enough to truly be effective.
The relationships we enter into now cannot be entered into lightly. We need people in our lives who can be counted on when the chips are down, in light of the times in which we are living. There will be many decisions about what relationships to enter into, what ones to keep and how to restructure them and what ones are no longer viable moving forward.
The skills of the Pluto in Libra generation come strongly into play, also, as Saturn begins its transit of Libra and conjuncts the natal Plutos. Their relationship alchemy and understanding of core relationship realities will be necessary, especially within morphing work structures, and this generation comes into positions of leadership beginning now.
Getting down to brass tacks as far as true compatibility – meeting mutual, soul-deep needs – becomes even more important this fall with the Venus retrograde in Scorpio.

Saturn Shift
Saturn is in the last minutes of the last degree of Virgo, entering Libra at 9:10 a.m. Mountain time tomorrow.
This shift brings us fully into a massive cardinal t-square configuration with Saturn in Libra opposite Uranus (exact) and Jupiter in Aries and squaring Pluto in Capricorn.
Though Uranus and Jupiter will both soon retrograde out of cardinal Aries into mutable Pisces, the t-square energy is in full effect for the next two months. Technically, we are out of cardinal t-square territory September 8 when Jupiter Rx re-enters Pisces, but we are still within degree of this very potent t-square, which will only begin to be alleviated by Saturn's movement further into Libra by Fall Equinox.
Things are just a mite tense.
And it's time for a visit to Free Association Radio. 11 a.m. tomorrow.
Let's see if we can work some common ground with Saturn in the scales...

Post-Eclipse Emotional Backdrop Transformations and What the Crab Can No Longer Deny
We're on the other side of the third set of eclipses on the Cancer/Capricorn polarity, which began in the Summer of 2009, and our underlying foundational emotional realities have officially shifted. What it means to call this planet home (however temporarily we call it that) has shifted.
Previously held safe havens - both physical and emotional - have evaporated into thin air. Bulldozed unceremoniously. Razed to the ground or poisoned beyond the point of being habitable.
With the Sun in late Cancer, we can see quite clearly (for those who wish to look) that the complete transformation of the energy of that sign is deeply underway, acted upon relentlessly by the unearthing of stark collective realities from the other end of the spectrum and Pluto in Capricorn.
As a Scorpio stellium in the 4th house, life taught me up to now that no matter what hell scenes existed around me and no matter how tumultuous my emotional reactions to those scenes, there was a safe haven deep inside me that was always there. I was always connected to it and all I had to do was go inside to feel it, know it. To know that I was connected to something much bigger than this single life on this planet.
And then I was slipped poison by the Nazis at Big Pharma. They penetrated that safe haven and attacked right to the core, right to that safe place where I could previously calm and still myself. And that place was turned into a nightmarish hell zone, reflecting exactly what was and is going on externally all over this planet.
This scene, I think, is indicative of a broader process going on. As Pluto razes and (hopefully) resurrects our entire structural reality on this planet over the next decade-and-a-half, the opposite sign of Cancer is inextricably linked to that process and will come out of the Plutonic alchemical fires no less changed.
The crab can only retreat so far - its natural inclination. At the point that the external threat penetrates it's shell, it's home, it's body, it's self, it must take action. Cancer is a cardinal sign after all. But a security-clinging cardinal sign. A sign that must be poked and prodded into action in a lot of ways. A sign that seems to only take action when it is absolutely forced to.
And its lack of action up until this point has been fully complicit with the horrors being wrought by the corrupt power structures around this planet.
Socially privileged parents living in safe, little bubbles. Believing, falsely, that the very act of producing their precious offspring warrants them safety and security somehow above and beyond the other members of this planet.
Maintaining the false understanding that the soldiers, the police, the governments, the rules, the banks, the money are "keeping them and their's safe." Protecting the sanctity of these nuclear family bubbles. Feathering the nests. Their Cancerian shells.
Or maybe not truly believing that, but going along with it all the same.
Happy to paint pictures with the kids, make mud pies in the yard, to shut out any unpleasantness, to keep it "out there."
While soldiers are killing, irradiating, and destroying the families of people in other parts of the world. Keeping them safe. While soldiers themselves are being killed, irradiated, destroyed "keeping them safe."
While more than 1,000 peaceful demonstrators in Toronto are brutalized, strip searched, strangled, mocked, threatened, tossed into unmarked vans and illegally detained by police for hours on end. Cordoned off by police officers and then illegally forced to provide identification and have their bags searched in order to leave the area. Lied to by police and city officials about supposed new rules that allow these breaches of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
The "protected" obediently train their eyes on agents provocateur on the payroll to break windows and stage violence and light purposefully abandoned police cars on fire. They snuggle in with the kiddies in front of the telly as martial law "keeps them safe." They watch United States Marine Corps helicopters flying over Canadian airspace and feel all warm and fuzzy that they're being taken care of on all fronts.
Separating themselves from the mothers and fathers and grandmothers and grandfathers peacefully protesting the murderous tyranny of the world governments.
Separating themselves from the mothers giving birth to children deformed from exposure to depleted uranium or Agent Orange or any number of chemical weapons. Even when it's mothers in their own country. That's them. This is us.
Driving SUVs to and from soccer practises, art lessons, play dates, all the while cluck clucking and tsk tsking about what's going on in the Gulf.
Filling swimming pools and watering lawns to outdo neighbours and golfing every Saturday. While three billion people don't have enough clean water to drink to keep themselves healthy. While Palestinians are slowly being tortured by thirst.
Doesn't matter what Daddy (or Mummy) does from 9 to 5 every day as long as there is money to support this (slowly rotting) dream. Mortgage scams, Ponzi schemes, poisonous oil regimes, toxic pharmaceuticals companies, crooked stock markets. Doesn't matter who the employer is as long as the income keeps streaming in. No questions asked. As long as they get their two days off per week in their little bubbles, it doesn't matter a good Goddamn what goes on the other five days.
So very separated, so very detached. That's them. This is us.
A false protection offered them on a silver platter through the destruction of the sanctity of browner, blacker, poorer families all around the world.
The false Cancerian world of precious pure white babies, birthday parties with bouncy castles, designer strollers filled with bored-looking toddlers.
We all know Johnson & Johnson as the baby corporation. What most people probably don't know is that it produces the most heinous and toxic fluoroquinolone antibiotic, Levaquin. This drug has destroyed the lives of thousands of people now struggling to recover from complete systemic poisoning.
And yet, the mothers on the advertisements keep smiling down on their lovely little tots, scrubbed clean with No More Tears shampoo and Head-to-Toe baby wash.
No one can scrub this shit clean.
Toxic rains are being reported in Ohio and Tennessee and Miami.
Our home has been penetrated. Our Earth. Our selves.
It seems to me we should have moved on long ago. To the new spaces that full awareness bring. But the clinging, the holding, the denial has stopped us from that.
There is only so far Cancerian denial can take us. We're at the Do Not Pass Go point.
The natural inclinations, the natural rhythms have been purposefully, poisonously disrupted. Weather patterns are being manipulated and so are the underlying energetic patterns related to being a natural human being.
To continue as if nothing is amiss at this point becomes more and more insane.
We see the fishermen of the Gulf coast trying to keep their life rhythms, the only rhythms they've ever known. The rhythms ingrained through generations. And the farmers attempt the same thing.
We see Gulf fishermen going out to sea now, allowing themselves to be employed by devils who have destroyed their ways of life. And they're getting sick. Just as the clean-up crews of the Exxon Valdez spill got sick. Many later died.
BP has denied the clean-up workers respirators or full protective gear as it would be bad for PR. Ha. Add this to their crimes against humanity, just as the conspirators and perpetrators of 9/11 can add the sickness and deaths of thousands of rescue workers who breathed in toxic dust in New York City to their list.
And then there is the long-term social deterioration. The divorces, bankruptcies, suicides. Just ask the people along Prince William Sound, Alaska. Twenty-one years later, they are still bearing the brunt of it.
The rhythms are rapidly, unnaturally changing, and we must be aware of the full extent of it.
There's a deep primal knowledge trying to surface. We have to dig way down to find it. It's the thinnest of threads at this point, dragging us out of the muck but only if we hang on for dear life and follow its lead to a tee.
Accepting this mess is not easy - especially for those who have worked their entire lives to try to head this off. We didn't. We couldn't. And now we have to remember Plan B. We have to remember why we agreed to be here for this, what our end of the deal is. And complete it.

Saturn, Mars and Venus in Libra and the Second Cardinal T-Square of the Summer
July 21 finds us with Saturn re-entering Libra - this time for the remainder of its transit until early October 2012.
July 26, it opposes Uranus in the fifth and final Saturn-Uranus opposition, this time at zero Libra/Aries, completing a 2.5 year cycle of oppositions that has rattled and shaken our structural realities to the point that they are now barely recognizable. A smooth and gradual transition it was not.
Between July 26 and August 20, Saturn will be moving to its third and final square to Pluto in Capricorn, also completing that cycle which began in November 2009.
So we have all these cycles completing at the same time as we're experiencing a second very powerful cardinal t-square - this one much longer-lasting - coming at us from Libra now instead of Cancer. Cycles are completing while we simultaneously have potent frictional impetus to actions initiated, new directions taken, new allegiances formed and underway - all in light of the stresses and difficulties of these transitional and transformational (for good or ill) times on Planet Earth.
The summer of 2010 is a big summer in the scope of things, to say the least.
Saturn in late Virgo has always been within range of these squares, but I was unable to call the configuration in late June a "Cardinal Grand Cross" because Saturn was not in a cardinal sign. It was an energetic Grand Cross - within degree but not by sign.
The cardinal t-square we experienced around June 26 (coinciding with the Full Moon Capricorn eclipse) involved the Sun and Mercury in Cancer opposing Pluto and the Moon in Capricorn squaring Jupiter-Uranus in Aries. Saturn in Virgo created the fourth leg - again, an energetic Grand Cross but not a full Cardinal Grand Cross. Virgoan details.
The Sun and Mercury are fast-moving planets, so the time frame of this initial cardinal t-square was very quick. An insanely intense energetic configuration in a tiny window of time - like a warp speed imprinting of energetic potential, with ripple effects for the next five years of cardinal squares but also for the next 2,000+ of the astrological Aquarian era. So you see why our full awareness and informed actions/decisions were and continue to be so important.
When Saturn re-enters Libra in a couple weeks, the Sun and Mercury will be out of range of their square from Cancer, but it will shift into full cardinal t-square alignment opposing Uranus and Jupiter in Aries and squaring Pluto in Capricorn.
Jupiter in Aries is stationing in exact square to Pluto Rx in Capricorn, increasing the potency of this energy and configuration.
I know it sounds like a broken record about how powerful these configurations are, but they really are. Layer after layer, aspect after aspect. We're ticking the seconds off of an entire 2,000+ astrological era (Pisces) and transitioning into a new 2,000+ cycle (Aquarius). Intuitively, I like Carl Johan Calleman's date for the actual ending of the Mayan calendar - October 28, 2011. This seems to fit the intensity and the acceleration we're experiencing, indicated astrologically.
To be honest, I'm not sure if human beings will be around for the full Aquarian cycle considering the state of things currently and the direction things seems to be taking straight out of the gate (at least, the human beings who share aspects of my personal spiritual lineage and energetic reason for being on this planet). But we're here now, so present we shall stay, fighting for our right to exist on this planet despite those doing everything in their power to make things inhabitable for us here.
So they think they can do this planet without us, eh? Hmm...
We're personally invested in what goes on here. God is invested in us. What we do with our time here matters - especially, at this point, in what we do with others, the quality of our relationships. And Mars and Venus, soon to be entering Libra, are coming to the table within this cardinal t-square to bring that point to full awareness.
Mars enters Libra July 29, opposes Uranus in Aries July 30, conjuncts Saturn July 31, and opposes stationing Jupiter and squares Pluto Rx in Capricorn August 3. Whew! Seriously.
As if that action weren't enough, Venus enters Libra August 6 and does the same dance Mars did in the cardinal t-square configuration. It opposes Uranus in Aries August 7, conjuncts Saturn in Libra August 8 and opposes Jupiter in Aries and squares Pluto Rx in Capricorn August 9. Whew squared!
This brings us personally into the proceedings. We're not just along for the ride with the transpersonal and intermediary planets (Jupiter and Saturn) acting upon our lives. The personal planets are involved; we're invested. We want and need things to go a certain way here, in more ways than one.
With all the Libra influence, this especially involves our relationships. Considering the context of the times, we no longer have a lot of time (Saturn) to waste in relationships that do not truly honour us or meet our needs. There isn't much room for do-overs now. We're craving quality human beings and quality relationships that we can build upon, invest ourselves in, develop our full potentials within.
What this planet needs are people willing to commit to the sometimes difficult process of harmony-creation and love-building between two people that will start to bring things back to an energetic state of balance. Reaching for the fullest, truest potential of ourselves and each other within relationship, despite the difficulty of the circumstances. Our highest selves, interacting. Every break from that is a break in the chain that the planet (and we) cannot afford at this time.
It's time for a new level of maturity, respect and responsibility toward others.
Our relations, especially romantic love relations, have gone pretty far afield in many cases from the mutually supportive, soul-and-spirit-honouring interchanges they're meant to be. Many people have bought into the idea constantly advertised to us that sex and love are cheap, easy and expendable. Easy come, easy go. Run into a problem? Just toss it into the heap and onto the next. Fast food love.
Now with Saturn entering Libra, things shift. That type of interaction is no longer going to sustain - just as a diet of Big Macs or Whoppers will not sustain. Fast food love and sex will be seen as the toxic energy exchange they are, and we'll crave (and demand) something deeper, better, more befitting who we really are as human beings. Something we can count on. People we can count on.
Maturity, fidelity and seriousness - being serious about each other - are about to get very sexy.
All this summer Libra action is a precursor to the Venus in Scorpio retrograde this fall (October 8 - November 18) when relationships will either end or fuse. Be shed or merge. And we'll be left, post-retro, in a much more real, authentic and raw place from which to relate - soul-to-soul, heart-to-heart, no BS - just how Scorpio (mature Scorpio) likes it.
Pluto and Ceres will finally meet in conjunction during the Venus retrograde in Scorpio, adding to the mythological/archetypal layers and underlying intensity of this time period. We need to clear unfinished business. It's now or never. This is my hope - renewal and restoration in love matters for all of us this fall. The cycle completing and falling away.
We're building on the work of the Pluto in Libra generation here - their stripping down of relationship constructs past their prime, abusive control and power dynamics, and relationship set-ups that deprive us of love, intimacy and closeness while keeping us from reaching our full potentials, together, within them. Stripping the Neptunian illusions and delusions around love and love relationships that set us up so painfully for disappointment and disillusionment.
The relationship constructs going forward will be much more alchemically fluid, dynamic, catalytic - creating an energy that is above and beyond the energy of the two individuals within them. We're not going backward here to relationship dynamics that stifled our love and development in the past - we're drawing the solid, valuable aspects of relationship through time and space into our current relationships. We're moving forward, but we're not leaving any crucial basic foundational tenets behind. This is the conserving influence of Saturn in Libra.
There is a lot going on as we head more fully into a summer, fall and winter that bring our relationships right to the forefront.
Saturn in Libra July 21 will be just the beginning.

Eclipse Window and Jupiter and Uranus in the Ram Fall Back
So after all the (albeit warranted) cardinal t-square/energetic Grand Cross hoopla...it's pretty much on the wane at this point. For now. The end of this month finds Saturn back in Libra, along with Venus and Mars, and we will have yet another massive cardinal t-square configuration in the sky - this time in the signs of Aries, Libra and Capricorn.
Currently, we're between two very potent eclipses - the Capricorn Full Moon lunar eclipse June 26, which happened exactly conjunct Pluto at 4 degrees Capricorn, and the Cancer New Moon solar eclipse up ahead July 11 at 19 degrees Cancer. Eclipse windows like the one we're in have very strong, often sudden, backdrop change themes. One backdrop falls away, another is put in place. And then maybe another couple are dropped in before the period is through.
Combine that with the initiating, directional impetus of the early cardinal t-square formation involving Pluto in Capricorn, the Sun/Mercury in Cancer and Jupiter/Uranus in Aries, and we've got some deep, all-encompassing change, shifting, morphing underway.
For all intents and purposes, the initial seed point for the next five-year cycle of Uranus in Aries-Pluto in Capricorn squares is complete, capped off by the final eclipse July 11. We've planted. We've gotten things underway. Potentials lie in fertile soil, waiting for unfoldment over the next five years, with influence ripple-effecting from this point outward into the entire astrological Aquarian Age.
Whether the effects of this time frame are showing up in obvious, physical life sorts of ways or whether it is a more internal process, things are different now. And they'll just keep getting more different from here on out. Ready or not, here it comes.
The series of eclipses in Cancer/Capricorn we're currently experiencing is the third and final set involving these two signs.
The summer of 2009 found us with a hugely potent triple eclipse season, involving two bookend New Moon eclipses in Cancer on the first and last degrees of the sign. Grand-scale.
With Full Moon eclipses in Capricorn and Aquarius, we were shaken loose from previous emotional moorings, often traditional and ancestral-deep - our sense of place, our sense of home, our sense of where we belong, our sense of emotional continuity.
We were uprooted at that time, our emotional anchors pulled from ground that would no longer hold us in light of the new astrological era we were and still are hurtling into.
The subsequent eclipses have coincided with more steps in the process of re-anchoring into this rapidly Uranian-shifting world, rocking and shaking us uncomfortably, at times tragically, into new positions and emotional territory. We have been forced to expand our emotional comfort zones - often to the point that we no longer even remember the boundaries of our previous ones. We have been stretched farther than we could have imagined previously, expanding to include scenarios existing on this planet that many of us never thought we would be living through.
But we are. We're here.
And our new emotional anchors, re-placed now in Aquarian soil, are finding their mooring points. We're settling into the new places that will hold us, though the process has often been painful, frightening, alienating. The anchors have dug a long, fresh scrape, moving until they reached a point where we could be held, somewhat still, while the water slowly does its thing and covers over the scrapes and gouges left behind by the process. We settle into new land, new place, new emotional reality, new personal and planetary context in light of what has happened and of what is still up ahead.
Uranus in Aries goes retrograde tomorrow morning. So you see? All that build-up, and that's as far as we are going at this time. Now back to late Pisces for one last re-entry into the soupy, nebulous, extremely collectively karmic astrological Piscean era.
Jupiter in Aries is also stationing and will go retrograde July 23. It, too, has almost completed it's first foray into Aries and the initial seeding points for this new era.
Jupiter will go retrograde in exact square formation to Pluto Rx in Capricorn at 3 degrees of the signs - the square is exact July 24. This Jupiter-Pluto square comes to exactness again with both Jupiter and Pluto direct at the end of February, 2011.
As Jupiter has travelled through the first degrees of Aries over the past month, since its ingress June 6, we've pushed forth, driven to the net, set our goals firmly in sight and blasted forward with all the might we could muster. Anything to get us even an inch out of where we were - the sucking, draining, horrifyingly depressing tail-end Pisces opposite Saturn in Virgo. And we got there. We inched out way forward and started to see at least a crack of daylight after the dark and creepy deep-sea traversing of tail-end Piscean era Pisces.
But still, we've been held in tight check by the square to Pluto. The broader collective shifting and transformation (not least of which is world economic systems breaking down under the weight of grand-scale corruption) is inextricably colouring our Jupiter in Aries expansion and individualistic progress. How can we forget where we are right now, the underlying flavour of these times, with the same cardinal t-square we saw in December 1930? With the Gulf gushing oil? With millions unemployed, so desperate for pay that they will take jobs from BP cleaning up their crimes against humanity, respirator-free because it would be bad for the PR image? And the militaristic police state crackdown and arrest of hundreds in my country, the country that used to be known for peacekeeping and diplomacy?
The ram rears back and lets off a few blasts, unaware of where the resistance is coming from, trying to break free. Until it decides that the progress made is sufficient for now and heads back to inspect the territory it has covered, the landing point it has reached and how it got there.
Jupiter and Pluto will square off exactly again at the end of February, 2011 at 7 degrees Aries/Capricorn. This coincides with the re-entry of Uranus into Aries - March 11, 2011. At that time, the Aries influence is here for the long haul. The Arien birthpoint is fully anchored, and the things we are seeding this summer get a blast of life-giving fire.
Next Spring Equinox is truly the birthpoint for the Aquarian era, the whole new ballgame begins for real then.
Until then, from now until March 2011, we have some stuff to go over. I really wish we didn't. Uranus and Jupiter will be on my Pisces South Node in the 8th house, and believe me - I would love to skip that one.
None of us really feels as if we have it in us to wade around in such insanely collectively karmic energy. We're going to have to hold hands to get through this one.
But when the Sun rolls around to Aries next March and conjuncts Uranus at zero Aries, we have truly lived through it. At that point, we've survived, we've reached daybreak, and we can get on with the matter of really living, not just surviving. We're all going to have something to celebrate there.
Saturn re-enters Libra July 21, just before Jupiter goes retrograde, and opposes Uranus Rx at zero Aries July 26.
Saturn, Mars and Venus in Libra will then come together to oppose Jupiter Rx-Uranus Rx in Aries and square Pluto Rx in Capricorn - forming our second massive cardinal t-square of the summer.
With Saturn involved, the initial seed points represented by the earlier cardinal t-square involving Sun/Mercury in Cancer and the Capricorn Full Moon eclipse will start to dig in and find some solidity and structure. Our partnerships and allegiances really start to become an important theme then. No one is going to be able to go this one alone!

July Reading Special - Get It While It's Hot
I'm doing a reading special for July where I'll be doing 50-minute readings for $88, my original price. Just like it's 2005 again...
This is good for natal, transit, synastry or solar return (birthday/year trajectory) readings by telephone or Skype.
The transits up ahead will be thoroughly relationship-oriented, with Saturn's return to Libra and a big Venus retrograde coming up this fall. An astrological head's up about what you can expect is very helpful and effective.
No Fluff, No Fillers E-Mail Consult
I'm also offering a quick-hit astrological e-mail consult in July where you ask me about a single topic on your mind, and I look at your chart along with the transits and send you a 15-minute analysis on the topic. This can also be about advanced questions on your birth chart. Very focussed, designed to get to deeper perspective quickly. $25.
There is a Buy Now PayPal button to the right under the reading information. Click there to purchase either a 15-minute e-mail consult for $25 (regularly $40) or a 50-minute reading for $88 (regularly $125).
Then contact me at: willowsweb@shaw.ca with your info.
This third set of Capricorn/Cancer eclipses has kicked up a relocation for me out of the city where I'm currently living, and I'm not sure what my availability will be like in August, so please take advantage of this offer if you'd like a little Willow astro perspective on your life during these challenging times.
