Planet of revolution, Uranus, stations retrograde tonight (8:52 p.m. CST) at 16 degrees Aries, increasing themes of "survival-based rebellion" in the face of top-down destruction and corruption from the highest levels of the illegitimate power hierarchies on this planet.

Both weather warfare (tornadoes, typhoons, and flooding of primary food-producing areas) and standard warfare (Israel's bombing campaign and illegal ground invasion of Palestine) were unleashed recently, timed to occur as the personal planets in Cancer triggered the Uranus in Aries - Pluto in Capricorn square for the final time of the square series.

Uranus in Aries now moves retrograde into the sixth square to Pluto in Capricorn on December 15, 2014. From there, both Uranus and Pluto move direct into the seventh and final square on March 16, 2015.

This is a re-post of an article from November 2, 2012. The themes remain as pertinent as ever:


"The levels of "shock and awe" emanating from the events timed to and associated with the Uranus in Aries - Pluto in Capricorn squares (2012-2015) correlate directly to how much credence and faith an individual put in the establishment structure of things to begin with.

If you've always understood there was something seriously wrong - like, abomination wrong -  with "the way things are," you're not going to be all that surprised by the events unfolding over the next years on this planet.

You also more than likely weren't surprised by anything that has gone on since Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008, when predatory mortgages and derivatives schemes were timed to collapse the United States economy and loot the public purse, creating a massive transfer of wealth from the people to the rich.

Or when the One European Currency experiment started going south.

If you understood the violent and inhumane nature of the money systems ahead of time, none of the shenanigans going on now is much of a surprise. This is a timed, intentional collapse, creating chaos so that the next steps toward maintaining control can be put in place. The new organizational schemes are not all that different from the old.

If you've been aware for a while now (since birth?) that things could not possibly continue under such levels of deception, denial, corruption, greed, exploitation, and destruction, it's not going to rock your world all that much when things prove fatally dysfunctional.

What's probably going to surprise you is that it's held up this long. And that people continue to put their energy into propping up the rotting, stinking schemes rather than re-working and fortifying real, necessary infrastructures.

If you've been following along with some of the 60+ posts related to Pluto in Capricorn on this blog, you're aware of the situation.

Right now, many people are breathlessly striving to make gains within corrupt and destructive stock market systems that mostly buy and sell shady financial contracts rather than anything real. People working and living in the primary industries, with real products and services, are considered suckers, dupes, the unfortunate souls who couldn't figure out the easy scam.

Financial astrologers are huge during Pluto's transit of Capricorn. "Figure out how to make a killing in the corrupt stock markets using astrology! Learn occult tricks of the trade that give you that inside edge! Make millions in blood money using the stars!"

Wheeeeeeeeee.

Understand that with Pluto, there's a trajectory toward maintaining corrupt power structures that is often much more popular and lucrative than the trajectory toward legitimacy, transparency, and necessary change.

If you haven't had financial security in the past, life is not going to be all that much different for you. Though you will be dealing with more extreme scenarios, you'll actually have a major leg up emotionally, psychologically, and along survival lines on the majority who continued to believe in Market Gods and invisible hands guiding them to neverending prosperity right up to the end.

There's a lot of talk about "all hell breaking loose" over the next few years on the planet.

But for most of the poor and working classes, hell has never not been breaking loose. Hell is something they're pretty used to, at this point. It's just that once it starts touching the middle and upper-middle classes, it starts to be considered a "real" problem, especially through media channels.

"The economy" was already shit, work was already hellish and exploitative, un- and under-employment were already rampant for many, many people before Pluto entered Capricorn and the predatory mortgages started kicking off like dominoes in 2008.

The majority didn't have the luxury of meaningful work before Pluto entered Capricorn, and the corporate steamrolling of small and independent businesses since the ingress has made things that much worse. Looking to corporations to provide meaningful, life-and-society-sustaining employment, as is the Pluto in Capricorn credo, is an absolute joke at this point.

For these reasons, I don't see the cardinal Grand Crosses of 2013 and 2014 as being that much of a switch for a certain percentage of the population. We're moving into a very pressurized, highly acute year from May 2013 to May 2014 when the uncertainty and tension will, at times, be unbearable. Structural frameworks will come unhinged in grand fashion. There will be violence, uprising, weather-related disasters. The circumstances people find themselves in will be highly challenging. Action will be required. New and unexpected directions will necessarily be taken. We will be moving en masse in relation to upheaval and manufactured chaos on both global and societal levels. But what else is new? Seriously, what could surprise at this point? Not even the end of the world.

The people who will experience the most "shock and awe" will be those who have been insulated financially from the real problems on this planet. The people who have been "successful" in the current systems, who have been playing along with the make believe. 

There is a strong element of self-fulfilling prophesy going on right now, a strong element of occult-assisted planning, and a strong element of manipulation, including of weather.

The "sky is falling" types will be able to pat themselves on their backs when they perceive things as going to hell over the next few years.

But people like me, and like many who read this site, know we were already there long ago.

Those who engineer pyramid scheme structural realities on this planet are going to be banking on: shock, confusion, disbelief, emotional catatonia, psychological distress, denial, chaos. Illusions shattering and people being paralyzed under the realizations they're having.

These are the malleable public reactions, the ones that can be shaped like warm Plasticine, the emotional and psychological states that will ensure people follow blindly into the next **new and improved** hierarchical set-up.

The reactions of those who are already aware are not this. They're calm, unsurprised, practical, fairly unruffled. They're not easily manipulated. This is where we need to be over the next three years.

Understand that we have just entered a three-year span, Saturn's transit of Scorpio, when crisis energy will be highly manipulated. Fear and emotional and psychological shock will be used like weapons.

If you haven't already, slowly, gradually become aware of the broader context so that you do not get caught up in the manipulated chaos and emotional and psychological breakdown associated with Saturn in Scorpio in mutual reception to Pluto in Capricorn.

Understand what other people will be dealing with so you can help lead them through.

The Cardinal Configurations and Orchestrated Disasters in Major Food-Producing Areas

As many of you know, hundreds of people have been displaced from their homes by flooding in the prairie provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba since torrential rain on June 29, 2014. Millions of acres of farmland have been flooded, which will lead to major crop losses, and there have been hundreds of millions of dollars in property damage. Most rural roads, highways, and bridges were closed in the affected areas due to flooding. Some have collapsed and will need major repairs. At one point at the height of the flooding, there was no way in or out of a neighbouring village. Basements have been flooded and destroyed on a massive scale. There is currently no working sewer or potable water in my village.

Thankfully, no deaths or serious injuries have been reported.

For anyone following the cardinal t-square and Grand Cross narrative since 2010, however, this is no surprise. I've written about the geo-engineered disasters tied to these cardinal squares from the beginning: 

From August 2010: "Baseball-sized hail wreaked havoc in southeastern Saskatchewan this past Saturday, July 31 [2010]. Since just before the Full Moon Capricorn eclipse on June 26, Saskatchewan has experienced the wildest weather in memory, being pounded by storm after storm of hail, mass quantities of rain causing flooding, and tornadoes. One hundred fourteen communities have declared themselves disaster areas this summer due to flooding, and there has been massive crop failure due to both a cold, wet spring and now flooding. I'm not a person who believes most weather patterns are natural at this point (an earthquake AND a tornado just before the G8/G20 Summits?), but this is quite symbolic of the astro energies we're dealing with currently."

From May 2011: "As I've written about, the current cardinal t-square formed by Uranus in Aries opposite Saturn in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn becomes a quite unsettled (and unsettling) Cardinal Grand Cross mid-June through the end of August. We're under very similar astro conditions as we were last summer, only tighter and more condensed. The parallels are striking - and orchestrated.

- Last summer, the Canadian prairies, where I'm located, were flooded. This caused massive crop failures - if farmers were even able to get a crop in after an unusually cold and wet spring. Honeybees starved to death due to the lack of flowering crops - not a good omen.

This spring, we have more of the same: unusually cold temperatures and heavy precipitation. Farmers can't get on the land due to flooding. People along the rivers have been evacuated from their homes, and they're calling it a once in 300 years flood.

- Last spring and summer, the prairies had wild weather all summer long, including baseball-sized hail, destructive winds and tornadoes.

This spring, various U.S. states are experiencing deadly tornadoes and baseball-sized hail. A HAARP-induced tornado Sunday night in Joplin, Missouri killed at least 116 people and destroyed large swathes of the 50,000-person city.

More artificially-created, unnatural disasters are to be expected. Don't blame Mother Nature or global warming on these ones. This is man-made and orchestrated.

- Last spring, the major, gut-wrenching disaster was the oil/Corexit/synthetic micro-organism horror show in the Gulf of Mexico.

This spring, it's Fukushima. (Both events are under media blackout.) The most recent readings released to the public show radiation releases from Reactor 1 shot up from 45 sieverts per hour to over 200 sieverts per hour on May 22/23. For perspective as far as how much radiation this is: an exposure of six sieverts per hour results in almost immediate human death. With a timeline of nine months until containment (as if anyone could really pinpoint it), the entire northern hemisphere is at risk for contamination by radioactive fallout - all while the government and media tells us next to nothing. Almost 5,000 Japanese nuclear power plant workers have been found to be suffering from internal radiation exposure after inhaling radioactive materials near the disaster site.

- In April of last year, a volcanic eruption in Iceland spread ash across northern Europe, stranding 10 million air travellers.

This May 22, just after Family Radio's "Rapture Weekend," another volcano blew in Iceland, kicking up similar clouds of ash and causing more air traffic problems.

- Last summer, the G8 and G20 meetings took place June 26-27 under a cardinal t-square/energetic Grand Cross as well as a wickedly potent Capricorn Full Moon lunar eclipse exactly conjunct Pluto at 4 degrees. The meetings took place with Uranus on the zero degree of Aries, moving into its long-term square position to Pluto in Capricorn, and planning for the Uranus-Pluto square series was laid out.

This summer, NATO is involved in a brand new war against Libya, headed by Canadian General Charles Bouchard. The initial attack was scheduled to begin on the vernal equinox 2011 as Uranus re-entered the zero degree of Aries. (The invasion of Iraq was scheduled to begin on the vernal equinox 2003 as Uranus ingressed Pisces.) NATO warplanes have been bombing Libya since then with the heaviest shelling to date happening this morning. Three people are dead and at least 150 injured, many gravely.

She said it's three feet high and rising...

After a deluge of rain in my local area (8 - 9 inches in some areas over the past two days), my village has been evacuated due to flooding, and I will be away from my computer for a few days.

I will return emails and schedule readings and lessons as soon as possible. I'm not sure if we will have power over the next couple days or not.

There haven't been any injuries or deaths in this area - just a lot of property damage, roads and bridges, gardens and crops washed out.

It wouldn't be the last cardinal Grand Cross summer of the Uranus-Pluto square series without something dramatic going on!

The Grand Water Trine is true to form in this area.

A Series of Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipses in Aries/Libra Intensifies Relationship Re-Balancing & Re-Structuring for 2014-2015

The intensity is building ahead of the Full Moon total lunar eclipse in Libra early Tuesday morning (1:42 a.m. CST). Sizzle and spice and all things nice (and not so nice).

Relationship issues are being pushed to a head here, and it's going to be difficult to hide how we really feel about it all with Juno, the Sun, and Mercury opposing from aggressive Aries.

Communication and ideas planet Mercury in Aries is currently activating the cardinal Grand Cross formation (exact Monday, April 14), and our words and interactions have long-term ripple effects now. Make sure your tongue is fighting just the right battles.

We need to know when to speak up and exert ourselves and when to yield to others. Determining which is which under these stressed conditions is not always simple. 

Adding to the intensity of the cardinal Grand Cross-flavoured eclipse season, Pluto is stationing retrograde at 13 degrees Capricorn on April 14, as well. This indicates a greasy and nauseated energetic moulting process involving complex power issues that are also putting us on edge.

There is a strong requirement to move relations into "new era" territory now, guided by what really works for the individuals involved - rough edges and all. Fight for new life under new-era rules in your relationships, or watch things wither.

Locking ourselves into old school relationship dynamics out of fear or out of a sense of false security simply will not do.

Tuesday's eclipse is the first in a series of four Full Moon total lunar eclipses that will occur along the Aries-Libra polarity:

April 14, 2014 - Full Moon total lunar eclipse at 25 degrees Libra, opposite the Aries Sun
October 8, 2014 - Full Moon total lunar eclipse at 11 degrees Aries, opposite the Libra Sun
April 4, 2015 - Full Moon total lunar eclipse at 14 degrees Libra, opposite the Aries Sun
September 27, 2015 - Full Moon total lunar eclipse at 4 degrees Aries, opposite the Libra Sun

These are cardinal Moon eclipses, again, indicating that new direction and new social leadership will be required in relationships of all kinds throughout this period.

Things are being shaken up along the "me" versus "we" polarity, as a new relationship backdrop comes into play for the new astrological era. 

We have also entered a new, two-year personal goal cycle, being kicked off by the Mars retrograde period in Libra, where relationship direction and re-direction figure strongly. We are working out a new balance between men and women, masculine and feminine, "me" and "we," self and other. And we're doing it all within a potentially confusing and pressure-fueled collective scene.

This Mars in Libra-flavoured cycle is an intense mash-up of the Aries/Libra themes with the action planet that rules Aries being challenged by Libra themes into spring 2016.

New Moon in Capricorn: Fukushima, Gatekeepers, and the Big Responsibility of Thinking For Yourself

We open into 2014 with a Plutonic-Mercurial New Moon in Capricorn on January 1.

The Sun and Moon come together in New Moon conjunction at 10 degrees Capricorn at 5:14 a.m. CST, taking us on a trip through the deep, dark, thorny underworld as we start the new year.

This New Moon falls closely conjunct both Mercury (mind, communication, information) and Pluto (hidden, power, poison), indicating that a major theme for the new year involves breaking the hold of mainstream media and its "official sources" in order to get to a clearer understanding of our reality on the planet.

As we start the new year, information (Mercury) is power (Pluto), and we have to take a much closer look at the power dynamics hidden amongst the messages coming to the populace through media and corporate communications. 

With the planet in its current state of ongoing orchestrated collapse, many people are looking to "authority figures" to tell them what to think. A good, old, strong and stern and responsible Daddy Dearest to tell them what to do and what to pay attention to.

And this practice could not be more dangerous to the future of life on this planet.

The problem is, the "authority figures" are playing the game within rotten-to-the-core Pluto in Capricorn hierarchies. The "official sources" are mostly bought and paid for at this point, looking to cover their own asses and protect their own  positions within the rotten power hierarchies. These authority figures are passing bad information around on heavy rotation, looking to further their own interests while manipulating and placating the public. 

This practice is deadly (Pluto), make no bones about it, and nowhere is this more so the case than with the information, analysis, and discourse surrounding the ongoing Fukushima nuclear disaster. 

In Canada, we have a go-to scientist for the masses by the name of David Suzuki. Suzuki travels around Canada and the world via carbon-spewing airplane to paid speaking gigs (usually on climate change) where he pockets up to $40,000 a pop.

You'll see him in a photo to the left (Holger Motzkau 2010, Wikipedia/Wikimedia Commons) accepting his "Right Livelihood Award" in 2009. (barf) In 2004, a poll taken by the state broadcaster here named him the Greatest Living Canadian. (barf again)

I noticed some previously uninterested ears started perking up in late 2013 when Suzuki released information on Fukushima. All of a sudden, with David Suzuki weighing in, people started to take a bit of notice.

Suzuki really got people's attention when he said that we could potentially be facing the evacuation of the West Coast of Canada and the United States due to the radioactive fallout from the Daiichi nuclear reactors at Fukushima, Japan.

The problem there is that we've known what Suzuki was stating - and much more - for almost three years now. He was not producing any new information or analysis (though it may have been news to most of the mainstream public). He was not producing any crucial research of his own - though he has the means and resources to produce it.

Instead, he was using an "old news," sensationalized angle on Fukushima to get the public's attention - and to hold it.

Winter solstice is just ahead in the northern hemisphere, and the daylight hours are getting short. The Sun enters Capricorn on December 21 (11:11 a.m. Central Standard Time), marking the shortest day in the wintry northern hemisphere and the longest day in the summery southern.

In the northern hemisphere, this is a time of year to draw back into ourselves, to relax our pace, and to let go of some of the usual demands on ourselves so that the mysterious dark half of the year can weave its magic.

My cactus plant (inherited from my sweet Sagittarius Grandma, born today) is blooming beautifully now, and we can take our cues from it and from the rest of the natural world.

When the days start to get shorter and the sunlight weaker, the cactus plant takes it as an opportunity to produce its beautiful flowers. The plant draws back into itself for a while, slowing its overall growth, and the gorgeous blooms are a result.

To experience the beauty and mystery of this time of year, rather than the depression and low energy, it's necessary that we regulate our lives according to a slower pace. It's necessary that we ease up on ourselves. Just as the plants and animals are not pushing full speed ahead now, we must check in with our bodies and with how we feel. We must check in with our energy levels, first and foremost, rather than deferring to the never-ending To Do lists of things we "have to" complete.

One of the major problems with the corporate model of living and working, particularly under Pluto transiting Capricorn, is that it does not take into account the natural ebb and flow of energy in biological life forms.

People are put on the clock, on standard schedules year-round, and this sets them up for dysfunction, ill health, anxiety, depression, and a sense of failure if they cannot complete the usual list of tasks in the usual timeframes.

There is very little "letting up" in the current structures according to the cycles of nature.

The standard schedules, the demanding routines, and the lists of action items are relentless, and this is a big part of what puts people's systems off course. They will often then blame themselves for a "lack of productivity," asking why they can't just be "normal," and this increases the bad feelings.

An Alchemical Social and Professional Mix Percolates As We Head to Equinox

As we move into September, the Grand Water Trine summer of 2013 is officially winding down. The good vibes that buoyed us from Jupiter and the personal planets in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio, and Neptune in Pisces have now mostly dissipated, and we are left with a more challenging series of cardinal Grand Crosses to navigate between August 2013 and April 2014. I hope you soaked up all the water magic you could this summer - we're going to need it!

 

We're now in the thick of Virgo season, harvest time, with the Sun and Mercury travelling through the sometimes persnickety sign of the virgin. Our focus for most of this month is on work, diligent effort, and attention to detail in preparation for the long winter ahead - physical and/or metaphorical.

A Virgo New Moon at 13 degrees, opposite Chiron Rx in Pisces, occurs September 5 (6:36 a.m. CST), and we open into new work, new roles, and a newly streamlined modus operandi. We're honing, purifying, and perfecting our skills as we move through this New Moon doorway, increasing effectiveness and eliminating unproductive efforts.

However, we also have to ask ourselves how we are so-very-effectively directing our personal efforts at this time.

(The Nazis were highly effective, too, after all. Efficacy is not always a good thing - Pluto in Virgos, I'm especially looking at you right now.)

The opposition to wounded healer Chiron in Pisces at the time of the New Moon indicates that we're working to heal the gaping psychic/spiritual wounds carried forward by humanity at this time, or we're working to support systems and ideas that cause further damage, tossing more salt in the collective wounds.

This New Moon is a time to get very clear on which effort you would like to support with your own time, focus, work, and energy. The condition and orientation of our souls at this crisis time on the planet are of utmost importance. We don't have as much time as we may have thought.

As we move through this clean-and-clear Virgo New Moon portal, small adjustments to our courses can create lasting improvements, particularly for physical and psychic health.

If there are changes you know you need to make in lifestyle or mindset, there's no better time than the present to implement them, propelled by this New Moon.

In light of recent information coming from Fukushima, eliminating certain foods in an effort to decrease the possibility of radioactive contamination may be wise.

Venus Enters Home Sweet Home Libra, Kicking Off the Cardinal Grand Crosses

Venus enters its domicile Libra tomorrow morning at 10:37 a.m. CST (where it will be until September 11) and swiftly moves into the first wave of cardinal Grand Cross configurations August 23 - 27.

A new social framework is being put in place over the next nine months, and this first wave, initiated by Venus, sets the tone.

Venus will square Pluto in Capricorn (August 23), oppose Uranus in Aries (August 26), and square Jupiter in Cancer (August 27), forming an acute, stressed, and highly-strung configuration that may require action, initiative, and strong social leadership skills under pressurized circumstances.

The personal planets Mercury, the Sun, and Mars will follow Venus into Libra, activating further waves of cardinal Grand Cross configurations in September, October, and December 2013, culminating in The Big One - an exact Grand Cross formation involving Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto at 13 degrees of the cardinal signs in April 2014.

We're being positioned and re-positioned - often dramatically, often unexpectedly - over the next nine months in an effort to reformulate relationships and social scenes to better fit the requirements of the astrological Aquarian era. Rules are changing. Ideals are shifting. Conventions are dissolving. Power dynamics are breaking down.

We can expect situations to escalate around the times that the Grand Crosses become exact, reaching crisis points that require decisiveness and leadership. These crises will often be related to the failure of the old set-ups, requiring that we find a new way...and quickly.

With Pluto involved in the Grand Crosses, potentially uncomfortable issues related to power are being drawn to the surface in relationships with an impetus to examine, make aware, and then transform. With Uranus involved, relationships and personal directions within relationship can change dramatically and unexpectedly as new insights and events arise. People will be rebelling from attempts to pigeonhole them in outdated relationship roles. With Jupiter in the mix, it is our wisdom, our truth, and our personal guiding philosophies (and those of our families) that provide shelter during the Grand Cross storms.

Jupiter in Cancer is now moving out of range of the Grand Water Trine with Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces. The flowing, energetic glue that was holding things together is now gone, and there is little buffer from the tensions of the Grand Crosses.

Understand that people are going to be a little (or a lot) on edge.

As we experience the series of cardinal Grand Crosses, we will also experience retrogrades of both relationship-related planets. Love and partnership planet Venus goes retrograde in Capricorn (28 to 13 degrees) from December 20, 2013 to January 30, 2014. Sex, attraction, and desire planet Mars goes retrograde in Libra (27 to 9 degrees) from March 1 to May 19, 2014. These retrogrades within cardinal Grand Cross indicate a major 'turning over of the earth' in relationships of all kinds as we hurtle further into the astrological Aquarian era. It is movement in our relationships and social scenes that catalyzes the biggest shifts as far as the ways in which our lives are structured.

The personal planets in Libra will be hitting all the relational marks we were challenged on during Saturn's transit of Libra (October 2009 to October 2012). During that transit, we set new, concrete standards for relationships and partners. We were challenged by illusion, delusion, and wishful thinking in love and relationship. We were tempted by dead ends, siren songs, and karmic loops. Don't be surprised if themes (or people) you thought you had resolved are kicked up again by the transiting planets in Libra. As the personal planets move through Libra and activate the Grand Crosses, we must prove in active and immediate ways that we've earned our new social authority, our new social positioning.

The transit and retrograde of Mars through Libra, in particular, is an activating transit for the Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in Libra generations, who are challenged to create "right human relations" during a quite inhumane period in human history.

The way people are treating each other on this planet, and the way they are being treated by the state, is fairly dismal in many cases, to say the least.

The eight-month transit and retrograde of Mars through the sign of its detriment, Libra, indicates we will have to fight (Mars) for the social relations (Libra) we wish to see on this planet. It is going to take active effort to maintain respect and a sense of peace, as well as our care for others despite exhaustion and overload.

Keeping our social balance and grace under these very intense and demanding cardinal Grand Cross energies will not be easy, but what is worthwhile is rarely easy.

'Social justice and change' are the names of the game with the personal planets in Libra activating the cardinal Grand Crosses, and these urges can be seen around the world.

Beauty-themed Venus in Libra within cardinal Grand Cross, in particular, indicates a time when we can flip the bird to destructive, media-driven beauty ideals once and for all.

There is a leveling of false beauty hierarchies underway as we move further into egalitarian Aquarius. We can assist this process by rejecting the soul-devoid, competition-based versions of beauty so often stuffed down our throats and by opting for something more humane, more fair, more realistic, more respectful, something that honours the beauty in all of us.

Whereas the Piscean era was obsessed with a sublime, surreal, soft-around-the-edges beauty, a glowing beauty that could be placed on a pedestal above all the rest, an idealized beauty for which  we were all then trained to strive, beauty in the astrological Aquarian era is more egalitarian, diverse, eclectic, unconventional, friendly, rough-around-the-edges, comrade-based.

The truth of the matter is: human beings are kind of weird. Being a human is kind of weird. We look sort of odd, when you get right down to it. The fact that humans are so enamoured of how they look - driven to a new, narcissistic extreme by digital cameras and social media - is actually kind of silly.

Alien life forms coming across a pack of humans would more than likely not be struck by their amazing and ethereal beauty. More than likely, they would think we were kind of odd. And we kind of are.

The things that make us different are the things that make us beautiful under Aquarius. No one has to fit him or herself into Piscean-era cookie cutter beauty ideals now. No one has to strive to look like anyone else. No one has to give any weight to these outdated ideals, at all.

Mars leaves Gemini for Cancer on July 13 at 8:22 a.m. CST, and it will transit the sign of the crab until August 27.

This is the planet Mars (war, aggression, action, will, direction, assertion, instinct, sexuality, desire, masculine/yang energy) taking a more roundabout tack through Cancer, the sign of its fall.

At first glance, Mars seems to be at odds with Cancer in almost every way. Mars is direct, identifying and moving toward goals in an immediate way. Cancer is indirect, taking a shuffling sideways stance as it sidles up to each new scenario. Mars is about desire and what we ultimately want. Cancer isn't always so sure what it wants, having to feel it out for some time before action can be taken. Mars is the warrior and (often) the taker of life. Cancer is the mother and the giver of life. Mars is masculine, hot, hard, demanding. Cancer is feminine, soft, sweet, and food and home-loving more than pure action-loving.

This illustrates the trickier expression of Mars through the sign of Cancer, and you can understand why Cancer is considered the sign of Mars' fall. By contrast, Mars is considered exalted in earth sign Capricorn, a more direct, concrete, and goal-driven sign.

Mars adds some juice to the Jupiter-Black Moon Lilith conjunction, requiring action and assertion in relation to the dark, denied feminine experience on this planet.

If you are already skilled in the navigation of Black Moon Lilith territory, you could advance quite effortlessly under this conjunction. If you are currently unaware of Black Moon Lilith issues or energy, you may find July and August - and the entire year-long transit of Jupiter through Cancer -  challenging.

The Mars-Jupiter-Black Moon Lilith conjunction in Cancer, strongly in effect into early August, indicates fights (Mars) related to beliefs (Jupiter), particularly those beliefs that have an underlying edge of misogyny and rage against women (Black Moon Lilith).

With Jupiter involved, there is a religious element to the proceedings. This particularly relates to the denied female experience (Black Moon Lilith) within religious/belief constructs. As Mars, Jupiter, and Black Moon Lilith transit the first decan of Cancer, they form both a highly flowing and easy configuration - a Grand Water Trine - and a more challenging, clashing, frictional configuration - a cardinal t-square.

The Grand Water Trine involving Mars, Jupiter, and Black Moon Lilith in Cancer has the summer ease and good vibes flowing from July 17 to 22. Our actions pick up support, movement, and even a transcendent quality from beneficial contacts to Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces. Progress toward our goals can fall almost magically into place. Things long-desired, especially related to family, those who feel like family, home, and emotional foundation, are now within reach in many cases. New directions dig in under these trines, as long as we've earned the advancement.

A new sense of family is emerging for the astrological Aquarian era, and this Grand Water Trine gives us an understanding of the ways in which family can expand beneficially to include non-blood and non-marriage ties.

Don't get too hooked on the ease of the Grand Water Trines, however. Mars forms an opposition to Pluto in Capricorn July 27 and a square to Uranus in Aries July 31. If you had forgotten the hardcore, do-or-die undertone on this planet currently, this cardinal t-square will remind you.

The influence of Mars in Cancer indicates a protective desire. We are acting all over this globe to protect our families, our communities, our regions, and our countries from the stranglehold of fascism and from another planned World War. With Cancer, there is a particular focus on the fight for our food supply against chemically-treated and genetically-modified corporate food production.

Corruption within our institutions (Pluto in Capricorn) is reaching the surface, triggering rage, movement, and action (Mars) among the people. All over this planet, people are in revolt - externally, internally, or both.

The Mars-Uranus square July 31 indicates further hot spots and uprisings percolating throughout this month, but you have to remember that, despite the Uranian influence, this is pretty much expected - and planned - by the powers that be (Pluto in Capricorn). The ongoing battles, protests, and uprisings between the people and the state may seem spontaneous, but they aren't. Jupiter in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn August 7 and squares Uranus in Aries August 21, creating a slow burn cardinal t-square in effect for most of August. This brings beliefs, religion, myths, stories, cultural knowledge, and wisdom - particularly with a dark feminine bent - strongly into the fray. Women's wisdom, feminine wisdom, wisdom from the soul - especially the kinds that threaten the current establishment - are our guiding lights.

The Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto cardinal t-square becomes a cardinal Grand Cross at the end of August, and this kicks off an eight-month period when the Grand Cross is the dominant configuration. Spicy, dicey, and potentially very challenging.

There will be waves of acute pressure and stress under these Grand Crosses during which we will be forced to make moves, to make decisions, and to take charge while things are coming apart at the seams all around us.

So things are getting tight by the end of July on the cardinal square front, and this tension squeezes us and keeps on squeezing right through April of 2014.

Our personal circumstances are being shaken up and transformed via pressures from the macro level. Structures are morphing on every possible front over the next two years. We are in a state of change, shift, flux, and we're trying to position ourselves well within it. We will be required to make major, life-altering decisions within this state of flux, or those decisions will be made for us. Understand this and make whatever proactive moves you can to stay out of the cardinal Grand Cross chaos and crossfire.

These are epic transits, these are epic times, and we are being placed in epic roles within them. We will be required to stand up, to take the lead, and to make courageous decisions that affect many people under these Grand Crosses. With the strong influence of Black Moon Lilith, this will particularly be required of women and men with a marginalized perspective.

With Mars in the sign of its fall until the end of August, we can expect thwarted wills and frustrated desires to be a part of the scene. Things will not necessarily go according to plan, as our personal actions (Mars) are tied inextricably to broader sociological and political forces (Uranus/Pluto). What we want may not be what is wanted for us, from us, or through us by the universe. Or it may not be time to get what we want. This is going to make a lot of people very pissy and short-tempered, especially if they don't have the astrology as a navigational map.

Cancer has an innocence about it, but people can use this innocence (or pseudo-innocence) to fight or to avoid things that need to be dealt with during Mars in Cancer. Passive aggressiveness, denial, emotional manipulation, avoidance, and the use of family connections can all be fighting tactics during this transit, as can an aggressive desire to be seen as the most caring, the most loving, the most nurturing, the most motherly.

Mars in Cancer is a slippery placement at times and can be difficult to deal with. Understand the different pacing toward goals, accept the roundabout way, and know that the big picture is much bigger than we can even grasp at this point in time.

Mercury and Venus are currently forming a gorgeous triple conjunction with Jupiter in late Gemini, and I hope some good, solid cosmic benevolence is raining down upon you! This is a meeting of the two benefics of the zodiac along with Mercury in the sign of the twins. Our conversations, connections, and communications are lovingly blessed at this time, and the good-vibe ripple effects continue...

Mercury moves from this very pleasing triple conjunction in Gemini into Cancer on May 31. Venus follows suit June 2.

As these two planets move into the sign of the crab, they kick off multiple aspects that will be repeated throughout the summer by the Moon, Sun, Mars, and Jupiter in Cancer (see the end of the article for dates). This is a combination of easy Grand Water Trines with less easy cardinal t-squares and later, Grand Crosses.

The primary "good vibes configuration" this summer is certainly the Grand Water Trine. Three flowing, 120-degree trine aspects formed by bodies in the water signs.

The base aspect in all the Grand Water Trines forming this June/July/August is the Saturn in Scorpio trine to Neptune in Pisces. Saturn and Neptune formed their first trine on October 10, 2012, just after Saturn ingressed Scorpio, and these bodies have been within orb of that trine ever since. They now move into their second exact trine (June 11), with the third (July 19) following soon after Saturn's direct station at 4 degrees Scorpio on July 7.

The levels of "shock and awe" emanating from the events timed to and associated with the Uranus in Aries - Pluto in Capricorn squares (2012-2015) correlate directly to how much credence and faith an individual put in the establishment structure of things to begin with.

If you've always understood there was something seriously wrong - like, abomination wrong -  with "the way things are," you're not going to be all that surprised by the events unfolding over the next years on this planet.

You also more than likely weren't surprised by anything that has gone on since Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008, when predatory mortgages and derivatives schemes were timed to collapse the United States economy and loot the public purse, creating a massive transfer of wealth from the people to the rich.

Or when the One European Currency experiment started going south.

If you understood the violent and inhumane nature of the money systems ahead of time, none of the shenanigans going on now is much of a surprise. This is a timed, intentional collapse, creating chaos so that the next steps toward maintaining control can be put in place. The new organizational schemes are not all that different from the old.

If you've been aware for a while now (since birth?) that things could not possibly continue under such levels of deception, denial, corruption, greed, exploitation, and destruction, it's not going to rock your world all that much when things prove fatally dysfunctional.

What's probably going to surprise you is that it's held up this long. And that people continue to put their energy into propping up the rotting, stinking schemes rather than re-working and fortifying real, necessary infrastructures.

If you've been following along with some of the 60+ posts related to Pluto in Capricorn on this blog, you're aware of the situation.

Right now, many people are breathlessly striving to make gains within corrupt and destructive stock market systems that mostly buy and sell shady financial contracts rather than anything real. People working and living in the primary industries, with real products and services, are considered suckers, dupes, the unfortunate souls who couldn't figure out the easy scam.

Financial astrologers are huge during Pluto's transit of Capricorn. "Figure out how to make a killing in the corrupt stock markets using astrology! Learn occult tricks of the trade that give you that inside edge! Make millions in blood money using the stars!"

Wheeeeeeeeee.

Understand that with Pluto, there's a trajectory toward maintaining corrupt power structures that is often much more popular and lucrative than the trajectory toward legitimacy, transparency, and necessary change.

If you haven't had financial security in the past, life is not going to be all that much different for you. Though you will be dealing with more extreme scenarios, you'll actually have a major leg up emotionally, psychologically, and along survival lines on the majority who continued to believe in Market Gods and invisible hands guiding them to neverending prosperity right up to the end.

There's a lot of talk about "all hell breaking loose" over the next few years on the planet.

But for most of the poor and working classes, hell has never not been breaking loose. Hell is something they're pretty used to, at this point. It's just that once it starts touching the middle and upper-middle classes, it starts to be considered a "real" problem, especially through media channels.

"The economy" was already shit, work was already hellish and exploitative, un- and under-employment were already rampant for many, many people before Pluto entered Capricorn and the predatory mortgages started kicking off like dominoes in 2008.

The majority didn't have the luxury of meaningful work before Pluto entered Capricorn, and the corporate steamrolling of small and independent businesses since the ingress has made things that much worse. Looking to corporations to provide meaningful, life-and-society-sustaining employment, as is the Pluto in Capricorn credo, is an absolute joke at this point.

For these reasons, I don't see the cardinal Grand Crosses of 2013 and 2014 as being that much of a switch for a certain percentage of the population. We're moving into a very pressurized, highly acute year from May 2013 to May 2014 when the uncertainty and tension will, at times, be unbearable. Structural frameworks will come unhinged in grand fashion. There will be violence, uprising, weather-related disasters. The circumstances people find themselves in will be highly challenging. Action will be required. New and unexpected directions will necessarily be taken. We will be moving en masse in relation to upheaval and manufactured chaos on both global and societal levels. But what else is new? Seriously, what could surprise at this point? Not even the end of the world.

The people who will experience the most "shock and awe" will be those who have been insulated financially from the real problems on this planet. The people who have been "successful" in the current systems, who have been playing along with the make believe. 

There is a strong element of self-fulfilling prophesy going on right now, a strong element of occult-assisted planning, and a strong element of manipulation, including of weather.

The "sky is falling" types will be able to pat themselves on their backs when they perceive things as going to hell over the next few years.

But people like me, and like many who read this site, know we were already there long ago.

Those who engineer pyramid scheme structural realities on this planet are going to be banking on: shock, confusion, disbelief, emotional catatonia, psychological distress, denial, chaos. Illusions shattering and people being paralyzed under the realizations they're having.

These are the malleable public reactions, the ones that can be shaped like warm Plasticine, the emotional and psychological states that will ensure people follow blindly into the next **new and improved** hierarchical set-up.

The reactions of those who are already aware are not this. They're calm, unsurprised, practical, fairly unruffled. They're not easily manipulated. This is where we need to be over the next three years.

Understand that we have just entered a three-year span, Saturn's transit of Scorpio, when crisis energy will be highly manipulated. Fear and emotional and psychological shock will be used like weapons.

Saturn Trine Neptune Ripple Effects: Magically Delicious Grand Water Trines Morph into Cardinal T-Squares June Through August 2013

The Sun enters Scorpio this evening. This means the Sun-Saturn conjunction is hanging heavily in the atmosphere, but it also means the Sun will light up the separating Saturn-Neptune trine for the first few days of Scorpio season.

Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces are currently just past an exact trine - a favourable 120-degree aspect. They last formed this aspect in 2002 in air signs. The current water trine is helping make dreams a concrete reality, while also dissolving long-held hopes and illusions that have not proven viable. Saturn and Neptune formed the first exact trine October 10 and will form the last of the exact trines June 12 and July 19, 2013.

What's going on now is just the beginning, however. The good celestial vibes from the current Saturn-Neptune trine emanate through the end of 2012 and into fall of 2013. Jupiter, the planet of luck, expansion, blessings, gifts, the broadening of horizons, wisdom, and faith, moves from the sign of its detriment, Gemini, to the sign of its exaltation, Cancer, on June 26, 2013 where it will remain until July 16, 2014.

Jupiter in the sign of its exaltation indicates a year-long period of strong cosmic grace amongst the difficult transitions and movements indicated by the ongoing series of Uranus in Aries – Pluto in Capricorn squares.

From this much stronger, exalted position, Jupiter is going to get a lot done, and it shines its benevolent light on almost every aspect of life on Planet Earth during its year-long transit of the sign of the crab.

Benefic Jupiter will form a gorgeous, glowing Grand Water Trine with Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces July 17 and 18, 2013, along with a series of more challenging cardinal t-squares and cardinal Grand Crosses during its transit of reflective, Moon-ruled Cancer.

In fact, the Saturn-Neptune trine we are currently experiencing expands into a series of magically delicious Grand Water Trines next spring/summer as the personal planets (the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Sun, and Mars), along with Jupiter, move through Cancer, forming the final leg of the water triad and dividing the zodiac into three 120-degree parts.

Throughout June, July, and August, 2013, we will experience, in waves, multiple Grand Water Trine formations that morph quickly into cardinal t-squares.

As the planets move to 4/5 degrees Cancer, they form the easy and flowing Grand Trines with Saturn and Neptune in water signs Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. Anyone with natal placements in the early degrees of water or, to a secondary degree, earth signs should be particularly experiencing the good graces.

As the planets continue into the 9 to 12 degree range of Cancer, they then become part of more tense, stressful, and challenging t-squares (180- and 90-degree aspects) in the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, and Capricorn. People with natal placements near this range of the cardinal signs will be feeling the pressure and the impetus to act.

The water signs relate to emotion, intuition, spirit, metaphysics, inner guidance, and the unseen realms. The cardinal signs relate to initiation, action, new directions, leadership, and decision-making. The movement initiated this June - August is guided and informed by water wisdom of all varieties.

These are all things we can use more of during the cardinal square years, and Jupiter in Cancer provides. Psychic abilities will be keen under all the water aspects, and an awareness of emotional/inner guidance will be particularly acute. 

We will have expanded opportunities to experience home and family under transiting Jupiter in Cancer that are quite exciting, with renewed faith and inspiration found in those things as we are prompted to live our very own "family philosophies." The nests we set up, expand, and and commit to during this transit provide interest, excitement, and fortification for what's up ahead. 

Luck comes to us through family under Jupiter in Cancer - both birth and chosen. Our sense of family expands to suit a new era flavoured by Aquarius, and we are able to find a sense of belonging where there was only cold isolation and anomie previously. The idea of family and home (Cancer) continues to expand (Jupiter) under the Aquarian umbrella, and friends become family. Home bases can be set up and secured under these transits with like-minded souls who become family to us. During the transit of Jupiter in Cancer, things we learned and wisdom we gathered during the experiences of our early upbringing become aces in the hole. Under this transit, we come into wisdom and a big-picture understanding about some emotionally tough experiences we've had, especially early experiences of family and home that have stuck with us.

Jupiter in Cancer Forming Multiple Cardinal Grand Crosses - August 2013 to April 2014

In addition to the Grand Water Trine and cardinal t-square it forms next July and August, Jupiter in Cancer will star in a series of five cardinal Grand Crosses involving Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn, and the personal planets (Venus, Mercury, the Sun, and Mars) in Libra.

Grand Crosses are made up of two oppositions or four squares and usually occur in signs of the same quality (cardinal, mutable, or fixed). In this case, the tense, clashing, and highly dynamic configurations are happening in the cardinal signs, indicating (yet more) grand-scale new directions, new frameworks, and new leadership emerging under pressurized circumstances, both personal and global, micro and macro. The friction creates movement and growth.

The first cardinal Grand Cross involves Venus in Libra and forms August 23 – 27, 2013.

The second involves Mercury in Libra and forms September 13 – 19, 2013.

The third involves the Sun in Libra and forms October 1 – 12, 2013.

The final two cardinal Grand Crosses involve Mars in Libra – both direct and retrograde. The first Grand Cross forms with Mars direct between December 23, 2013 and January 8, 2014.

The final Grand Cross forms April 21 – 24, 2014 and is exact, as all four bodies – Mars Rx in Libra, Jupiter in Cancer, Uranus in Aries, and Pluto in Capricorn – will be at 13 degrees of the cardinal signs.

Did I mention Jupiter was going to be a busy little beaver during its transit of Cancer? It's hitting all the marks from this exalted position and playing a part in all proceedings. The cardinal Grand Crosses (or Grand Squares) kick the global and personal re-structuring up to fevered pitch yet again, and we're going to need every last bit of Jupiterian blessing from its position of exaltation.
