So You're Woke AF? How Much Do You Know About the Fukushima Nuclear Disaster?

So the young folk are woke af these days, eh?

Why am I not seeing the self-declared awakened brethren talking about the cover-up of the Fukushima nuclear disaster? 

Why am I not seeing the invisible and insidious poisoning of our air, water, food, and soil with radioactive fallout hitting the list of Pet "Woke AF" Issues?

How much do the younger gens really know about the ongoing Fukushima nuclear disaster and resulting collapse of the Pacific Ocean ecosystem? Not much?

Well, they shouldn't feel too bad. That's exactly how the powers-that-be want it. That's exactly how its been orchestrated. A worldwide media blackout combined with nuclear shills and establishment scientists held up as "experts" whenever it does happen to be covered has proven very effective. 

Now nine years in, the issue is almost entirely buried under a mountain of constantly-churning, constantly-updating information and memes and social media chatter, "woke af" as it may (or may not) be.

Using the passing of time to bury history is a trademark tactic of the power establishment. Suppress it, lie about it, and distract from it long enough, and it completely disappears from the radar screens of the upcoming generations. It's as if it never happened. 

The people who do know about it grow fatigued from bringing the very heavy issues to the surface again and again with little traction or assistance (more often, attacks and resistance). So life moves onward. Other things require time and attention. And it starts to drop.

The truth of it doesn't change. The threat of it and the need for protections don't go away. It's just that it becomes too taxing to keep it publicly exposed in an ongoing way.

In previous generations, this burying of history took longer to occur. The full turning over of the soil might have taken 50 years, even 100. 

Today, in these constantly-updating, constantly-stimulated digitized times, it takes maybe 10 or 15 years for something to be wiped from the public radar screen. In 10 or 15 years, it's considered "ancient history" to the youthful masses, nothing they need worry about in the Ever-Buzzing Now.

Coronavirus: Neutralizing the 'Terror of Contagion' with Mercury Retrograde in Pisces

"The illusions are thick. The maya threatens to engulf us. It's hard to tell what's real from what's fake on the world stage and even, at times, on a personal or social level. Mercury is the planet related to media, information, communication, and the mind. It's also considered a trickster. Mercury is currently retrograde (February 16 - March 9) in the sign of its detriment, Pisces, which is a sign related to illusion, deception, confusion, dispersion, and contagion. 

Mercury stationed retrograde in mid-February in a conjunction to Neptune in Pisces, which indicates an exacerbation of the foggy veil dropped over mental and communication-based activities. 

Basically, the Mercurial function is highly challenged and burdened at the moment - to the point of exhaustion - and the creation of Public Worry Number One in world media, the coronavirus pandemic, reflects this. 

I'm terribly sorry if anyone has been negatively affected by this situation. That said:

When a subject hits worldwide media across all sources with the ferocity of the coronavirus, it is almost certain to be part of an orchestrated agenda of some kind. This is just how corporate mainstream media works. Media ownership is highly consolidated. A few mega-corporations own all the television stations, radio stations, and newspapers, as well as many of the big-name internet news outlets. Mainstream media is a propaganda tool for the power establishment, a tool of manipulation, suggestion, mesmerism, and mind control. It broadcasts the same messages, the same information, the same "official sources," and the same images into the minds of viewers, listeners, and readers across all media platforms with only minor differences in perspective allowed. 

"Big stories" like the coronavirus pandemic dominate the minds of the public and the collective discourse in this way, creating a situation of widespread terror, fear, worry, and panic. In this state of emotional and mental chaos, people are much more susceptible to top-down control from "authority figures." They're looking for someone to "do something!" and will fall in line behind instruction, guidance, or orders coming from top-down sources that they consider to be powerful authorities.

Chiron in Aries and Uranus in Taurus Mark the 8th Anniversary of the Ongoing Fukushima Nuclear Disaster

Eight years. One full Venus cycle. The entire Uranus transit of Aries. Almost the entire Chiron transit of Pisces.

And here we are.

Eight years into the worst nuclear disaster this planet has ever seen, a disaster with no end in sight, and eight years into establishment denial, downplaying, and distraction. Eight years into a worldwide media blackout lulling people into a false sense that everything's OK, it's all under control, it's all in the past now.

I've been covering Fukushima on this blog since it began in March 2011. The urgency around this situation has never dissipated, not one bit. 

For the people who know about the situation, what more is there to say or do? 

The people who care to know already know about it. So we wait for our directions, for the inner compulsion to act or write or speak.

Penetrating the media blackout, the governmental official li(n)es, the arrogance of establishment science, and the hearts and minds of the general public with the knowledge of the real Fukushima deal has proven difficult if not impossible over the past eight years. 

We have a collective discourse absolutely obsessed with the highly-manipulated subject of "climate change." Lowering emissions. Reducing carbon footprints. Greenlighting a hugely unpopular carbon tax that will kill most of what remains of the middle class. (Just one example of the extreme economic violence we will see during the eight-year transit of Uranus through money sign Taurus.) 

All while the much more immediate threat is ignored, while the global emergency situation created by Fukushima and Fukushima fallout is denied and glossed over and has been for eight long years now.

Mercury-Black Moon Lilith Contacts, Censorship, and Reporting From the Fringes

Media and communication planet Mercury forms an exterior conjunction to the Sun in Aquarius today (6:52 p.m. PST) at 9 degrees. 

These bodies continue travelling in conjunction until Mercury enters Pisces on February 10. The Sun and Mercury are also forming conjunctions to Black Moon Lilith (BML), the point of deep, dark, denied feminine experience. 

This indicates that the Sun is shining its light on outsider (BML) information (Mercury) and on those who write, speak, and share that information. 

Reporting from the fringes!

Mercury-Black Moon Lilith contacts can indicate perspectives that are inflammatory or disturbing to a more mainstream or establishment mindset (even pseudo-alternative varieties), and these outsider perspectives can sometimes create hostile backlash for the marginalized messengers. 

There's some bounce-back, some rejection, some ejection, some circling of the wagons associated with Black Moon Lilith, and when winged messenger Mercury is involved, this particularly relates to information, ideas, and communication. 

As a person with a prominent Mercury-Black Moon Lilith contact in the natal chart, I'm offering up an illustrative tale here from my 20-year experience as a writer and reporter who has always, through no intention of my own, had a very hard time getting my work included in the public discourse - both mainstream and alternative versions.

Before I became the ass-kicking anarchist astro-reporter whose words you are reading here today (heh), I briefly worked in mainstream media.  I have an undergraduate degree in journalism and communications from the University of Regina, Saskatchewan. But even way back in journalism school, the BML writing was on the wall. 

I came to understand quite quickly that the media outlets as they existed would not allow me to do the work I needed to do. I knew they wouldn't accept my perspective or the perspectives of people like me as fully legitimate, as deserving of a voice and a real place at the table. 

Jupiter Square Neptune and How to Spot Controlled Opposition

 So beautiful. So picture-perfect. But don't be fooled. This photo captures a very ugly underlying phenomenon: a full winter of flat, grey cloud cover (previously unheard of on the sunny prairies) produced via chemtrails and weather modification... 

Cosmic Spotlight Jupiter in Sagittarius (truth) comes into range of an extended square to Neptune in Pisces (illusions, fog, deception) just as Neptune, extra-potent in the zodiac, stations direct on November 24. The Jupiter-Neptune square will first be exact on January 13, 2019, but it will be within orb and in effect from late November 2018 to mid-November 2019.

Both communication/intelligence planet Mercury (now retrograde) in Sagittarius and action/aggression planet Mars in Pisces are activating (aggravating?) this square as Jupiter comes into range. 

The Sun-Mercury Rx interior conjunction at 4 degrees Sagittarius on November 27 (also conjunct Jupiter and square Neptune) brings the themes of this Jupiter-Neptune square to the forefront even more.

A long-term Jupiter-Neptune square, with both planets strong in their own signs, indicates a primary theme of determining what's real and true from what's illusory and deceptive.

Under this square, a year-long veil of fog has been dropped. Illusions will be thick. And there will be an unfortunate tendency to be taken in by, as I put it in the November 5 patron article on Jupiter in Sagittarius, "pretty manipulators, confident deceivers, and charming liars." 

In light of this theme, if there's one thing - literally just one thing - I would like people to come to understand during the transit of Jupiter in Sagittarius, it is the manipulative stranglehold on the collective discourse and public mind held by controlled opposition. To this end, I offer:

How to Spot Controlled Opposition

1. The person or organization is famous, a household name (at least in certain circles), and/or is covered on mainstream media. This is a dead giveaway. People who have the real-deal information, who do the real-deal research and journalism, are suppressed, ostracized, mocked, isolated, and even murdered by the establishment. They do not rise to any sort of prominence within the public, especially with the assistance of mainstream media. They have to fight tooth-and-nail to get the truth out there amidst monstrous opposition. They are certainly not provided with large public platforms or mainstream media play, even if only as supposed "enemies of the state." Real whistleblowers are stepped on, intimidated, shut up, or killed. They don't hit CNN or CBC or BBC or Fox News. They don't hit VICE or Democracy Now or Dr. Oz. (Unless, that is, they are being used by the establishment as unwitting controlled opposition.) 

Within the pseudo-alternative media, controlled opposition agents will often have relative fame - a relatively large public platform in the hundreds of thousands or low millions. These individuals will often seem just a little too slick or a little too rehearsed to be real people. They may have an extreme and unnatural level of charisma, and this charisma can draw people in. (The standard cult leader personality.) This type of charisma can be generated with mind control techniques, occult-based machinations, or both.

2. Limited hangouts: a controlled opposition agent will release very juicy insider information to the followers to make them believe that "someone is doing something; someone is on top of this." This is a common technique by the power establishment of "throwing people a bone." Because the agent is releasing information that the powers-that-be would not generally want released to the public, information that makes the established order look bad, the controlled opposition agent gains legitimacy in the minds of the followers. The followers trust that this person is "one of them, on the good side, playing for the right team." The information being released is often partial, outdated, diversionary, or of limited scope. If the information is legitimate, nothing effective is done with it. The controlled opposition agent or group does not direct people to take viable action based on this information. Often, the limited hangouts merely scratch the surface. They do not go to the real roots of the situation or call out the real people and organizations responsible. Limited hangouts are often used as a "look over there!" tactic to divert attention from other areas. 

Limited hangouts by controlled opposition agents have the effect of controlling dissenting discourse within the public. Followers hang on the controlled opposition agent's every word, waiting to be told what to think or what to do, never doing their own research or coming up with their own thoughts, ideas, or actions. The discourse only goes so far as the controlled opposition agent allows it to go. Limited hangouts are being used to great effect by Donald Trump and supposed Trump insider Q Anon, as well as by other puppet-celebrities. (Don’t worry – the establishment left is just as chock full of controlled opposition as the establishment right.) The public has never before experienced a high-level politician or celebrity producing such a steady stream of juicy limited hangouts, and many people are utterly mesmerized and mind controlled under the spell of it. 

The reason limited hangouts are being used so extensively at this time is that the public has successfully uncovered so much of the true reality on this planet. The people have uncovered things that can't be swept back under the rug, and the power establishment must now try to take control of this information.

3. The controlled opposition agent will often have ties (past or present) to mainstream organizations, government agencies, or establishment groups. A controlled opposition agent is often a supposed dissenter who rejected some mainstream organization or industry in order to "tell people the truth." (I've personally found these types of fake rebels or critics to be common within the New Age establishment - people pretending to be critics of New Age while actually being adherents to New Age beliefs and ideology.) While true dissenters and whistleblowers do exist, they almost never gain large public platforms. The ultimate allegiance of a controlled opposition agent is with the establishment, and they may receive funding directly from related industries or organizations. If being an "establishment rebel" is a strong part of the person's schtick, there is reason to be suspicious.

4. The controlled opposition agent creates and reinforces a strong Figurehead-Follower power dynamic. This is a hierarchical dynamic where the Figurehead sits at the top of a pyramid scheme of power with the followers gazing up in rapt devotion. This often takes the form of the "Wise Fatherly" archetype with the controlled opposition agent being looked to as the pinnacle of wisdom and the ultimate fount of information. The Figurehead is seen as the most intelligent and most important individual in the pyramid scheme and certainly receives the most attention. Narcissistic tendencies can commonly be observed. The Figurehead must be deferred to at all times. Dissenting information is generally censored, and anyone considered a dissenter is cut out of the fold. There is no climate of intellectual equality, even though lip service may be paid to that. People often want to get closer to the Figurehead, moving up the rungs of the pyramid scheme to the inner circle. Once in the inner circle, people will defend and protect the lofty position of the Figurehead to maintain their own position. The energy, ideas, intellect, talents, and efforts of the followers - those on the lower rungs of the pyramid - are funneled to the top and often folded into the Figurehead's own work. In this way, the followers are used to prop up or bolster the position and status of the Figurehead. This is energetic theft, and it's really the only way the bloated public platform used by the Figurehead can be maintained over time. 

5. The Figurehead controlled opposition agent has extreme influence on the thoughts, ideas, and speech of the followers to the point of mind control. This takes the form of hundreds of thousands or millions of followers parroting the Figurehead's exact ideas and catch phrases. (Hatefully referring to the public as “sheeple” is one that springs immediately to mind.) This phenomenon can be easily picked up on by those objectively viewing the dynamics, and it is another dead giveaway. Free thinkers do not parrot the same catch phrases, idioms, or ideas at the same times as hundreds of thousands or millions of others. Independent researchers and thinkers do not obsessively focus on the pet subjects or ideas of the Figurehead to the exclusion of other, more important matters. The common denominator when seeing these types of dynamics will be exposure to one particular Figurehead.

6. The Figurehead controlled opposition agent often stirs fear, anger, rage, frustration, confusion, or despair in followers with no healthy outlets for those feelings. Anger and rage will often be directed toward certain groups of people as the cause of the ills. These groups may be gender-based, race-based, or politics-based but can also be the public at large (“the sheeple”). Massive amounts of time and energy are directed toward particularly divisive topics as well as to matters of secondary importance, skirting around the real, core issues of the times and the real individuals, organizations, and entities responsible for the harm being caused. The Figurehead can also stir confusion and a sense of futility or helplessness in the followers, ensuring that followers do not take independent action (“there’s nothing we can do about it, anyway”) and that they will continue to look to the Figurehead for instruction on what to think or what to do. Dependence on the leadership of the Figurehead is encouraged, even if not expressly.

These are some of the characteristics of people who act as controlled opposition. You can use these points to sniff them out. People can be used as controlled opposition consciously (with their knowledge), or they can be used unconsciously (without their knowledge). Whole movements or "scenes" can also be infiltrated by controlled opposition - maintaining establishment control over dissent and the exposing of truth by scratching the surface, appearing to allow a public platform for alternative views, but never going to the real roots of the situation or truly liberating people's minds or lives.  

Controlled opposition agents are looked to as primary leaders for a cause, and this is exactly the dynamic they create and reinforce until dependence on them as figureheads is fostered. These agents are actually put in place to mislead, to lead in the wrong direction, or to entirely shirk leadership at critical moments. This hijacks, confuses, and diffuses grassroots movements and independent action that would otherwise be effective.

Deconstructing the Worldwide Media Blackout on the Ongoing Fukushima Nuclear Disaster: California Wine is Just the Tip of This Radioactive Iceberg

An extremely watered-down, not-so-news story has hit the mainstream media in the past week or so about Fukushima-signature fallout being found in California wine.

From July 20, 2018: "Fukushima's Nuclear Imprint is Found in California Wine (Drinkers, Don't Panic)" 

Mind-bogglingly, this story has caused a big, old stir.

I recently noticed that The Weather Network has run the story, and commenters on their website are calling it "alarmist," suggesting TWN is irresponsible for even publishing such a story.

Honestly, mind-boggling doesn't even begin to cover it at this point. 

This wine story is so watered down and omits so many key facts that it's laughable, but even this, even this, piece of "Fukushima is no biggie" mainstream media propaganda is getting people all hot and bothered?

Nowhere in the story does anyone mention that Fukushima-signature fallout (Cesium 134 and 137), as well as other radioactive isotopes, have been found in produce, seafood, sand, and rain all along the West Coast of North America (and beyond) since the nuclear disaster began in 2011 and continuing to this day.

(But as soon as it's found in Napa Valley wine - generally an upper and upper-middle class area - all of a sudden, it's a huge story.)

Nowhere in the story does anyone mention the fact that man-made radioactivity bio-accumulates in the body, so a single serving of radioactively-contaminated food or drink may not have a huge impact on health, but hundreds or thousands of servings over the course of five, six, seven, and more years? That's definitely something to be concerned about. That involves continual bombardment by combinations of man-made radioactive isotopes that our bodies would not come into contact with naturally. The doses keep getting higher as they accumulate in the body. There's a threshold there.  

Sagittarius Season Storytime and the Insanity of the Fascist Police State

One night in March 2000, I was driving to my job as a waitress in a pool hall in Regina, Saskatchewan. I had a green light, and as I went through an intersection driving north on Wascana Parkway, I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I looked to the left and simultaneously lifted my foot off the gas pedal. That probably saved my life.

The next thing I remember, I was being helped out of my totaled car by a crying teenager and her male companion. She hadn't seen the red light and T-boned me at a fairly high rate of speed, hitting me at the left driver's side wheel. This then propelled my car head-on into a light post.

I was blacking out but remember mumbling to her that it was OK, that it was just an accident.

The next thing I remember was sitting in the back seat of a police car along with the girl and her companion. The girl was sniffling and calling someone on her cell phone. Then everything went white. I have no idea what, if anything, I said to the officers.

When I came into consciousness again, I was being told to get out of the police car. I was injured, blacking out, and confused.

I asked the two male police officers what I was supposed to do.

One of them answered, "Go find a phone."

I got out of the car and stood on the median. The cops drove away.

I was a young female at least two miles from the nearest public telephone or even the nearest home or store. It was dark. It was cold. I had no money with me. I had no cell phone with me. 

I had been abandoned - injured, going in and out of conscious awareness, and confused - by two members of the Regina City Police force in the middle of Wascana Parkway, far from assistance.

I don't like to think about what could have happened to me that night. I could have been beaten up or raped. I could have, in my blacking out state, stepped into the path of an oncoming vehicle.

What did happen that night involved a stroke of luck, a happy coincidence, or some sort of divine intervention.

Ceres in Gemini, the Heat Wave, and Media Manipulation of Grain Futures

Ceres, the dwarf planet associated with grains, cereals, and the fertility of the Earth, is transiting Gemini (media), and news stories about food and agriculture need to be on our radar screens.

With Ceres currently conjunct Jupiter and the South Node of the Moon in Gemini, understanding the ways in which these news stories are shaping, directing, and manipulating public opinion is important throughout the transit. Ceres entered Gemini June 24 where it will remain until September 26. It will retrograde back into Gemini December 4 until April 25, 2013.

With the current nodal axis, manipulated news stories (Gemini South Node) can too easily become truth (Sagittarius North Node).

The media campaign pushing for public acceptance of genetically modified alfalfa is currently underway, as is a series of heat wave-related crop failure/food price increase stories.

A record heat wave swept across most of the United States and Canada from the end of June through the first week of July, continuing in Canada to mid-July. This has resulted in widespread speculation on crop failures in the U.S. Midwest, particularly of corn and soybean crops.

The United States is the world's primary producer of corn, and it's big business, used in many different food products, for livestock feed, and for ethanol production for which there are mandatory quotas that must be filled. 

It is estimated that one-third of the corn crop has been damaged or destroyed in 18 U.S. states by the June/July heat wave and a lack of precipitation at pollination time, a crucial point in the corn's development.

This Saskatchewan corn survived the heat.

News stories across mainstream and alternative media are declaring that these crop failures will result in already-inflated food prices rising even higher.

The truth is, the media is manufacturing cause and effect.

Crop failures of this magnitude will not create an immediate rise in the price of food and groceries. The world has grain and food stores in reserve. No matter how devastating the current corn crop loss in the U.S., no matter how the reserves may potentially take a hit, the early failure of a crop - long before it is time to harvest and sell - will not cause an immediate rise in food prices. As far as the physical supply is concerned, it would require a longer-term trickle-down effect.

What a major crop failure will create, with the media's help, is an immediate psychological state among the public and among those playing the stock market that will create higher prices. This is a psychological bubble, an expectation that prices will rise, which creates that very effect.

The primary driver in stock markets around the world these days is not the supply and demand of physical commodities. It is mass psychology and the manipulation of that mass psychology, often through media. If people believe the price of something is going to go up - due, in this case, to media reports of heat and drought causing crop failures in the U.S. Midwest - they will be primed for price increases. They will act as if the price is going to go up, buying and selling accordingly, and this activity will then drive the prices up, no matter if the physical supply is in imminent danger of being decreased substantially or not.

Baby Bush's Cross-Canada Tour

Bush is getting bolder.

His first post-presidency Canadian speech was made in ultra-neo-conservative Calgary, Alberta in March of 2009. You can understand it...Calgary being the most corporate, Big Oil, Americanized city in Canada. Plenty of people willing to drop $400-a-plate to listen to a war criminal wax poetic about his days in office. Among them journalist and now Conservative-appointed Senator Pamela Wallin and ex-hockey player Kelly Hrudey.

Two hundred protesters showed up in downtown Calgary to voice their disapproval of Bush being in town - and being paid handsomely to be in town. Four were arrested for very minor offenses.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police dropped $125,000 to police the event and protect vulnerable little Bushy. $125,000 of public dollars spent for a 24-hour visit to the city. By a war criminal. And it was the PROTESTERS who were arrested. Funny little world we're living in, isn't it?

Apparently, Bush's speech in Calgary went over so well that he is now planning to continue his Canadian tour in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on October 21, 2009. My home province.

There is definitely a large and very vocal contingent of neo-conservatives in Saskatchewan who I'm sure are just salivating at the chance to back-slap old Bushy and congratulate him on a job well done. (And what job is that? Entering a war on false pretenses, hundreds of thousands of dead Iraquis, 4,000 dead U.S. soldiers, tens of thousands wounded, 129 (and counting) dead Canadian soldiers, torturing prisoners and detaining them without due process, stripping citizen's civil rights through the Patriot Act, FEMA camps, deregulating derivatives, collapsing the economy, bankrupting the nation, millions unemployed, etc.)

But Saskatchewan is a much more libertarian province than Alberta. Saskatoon is a much different city from Calgary. So this is going to be very interesting.

The outcry is already well under way: "Bush Protest In Works" from the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix.

This story comes from the same newspaper I interned for in 1999 that denied my story on protesters heading to the Battle in Seattle and then (once it became a sexy story) censored my subsequent stories on it.
