Happy Equinox! A New Moon in Libra Opposite Jupiter Rx in Aries Provides a Profound Social Fresh Start

Happy Equinox, northern hemisphere dwellers! 

The Sun enters Libra tonight at 7:03 p.m. CST, marking fall equinox in the northern hemisphere. As the daylight hours and nighttime hours become perfectly balanced, we take some time to balance ourselves and our lives, as well. Fall equinox provides a moment that feels almost suspended in time, a moment for us to take a deep breath after a busy summer. As we move into Libra season each year, most people are back to work or back to school and have settled into their new routines. Garden produce has been mostly harvested with garden beds cleaned up and prepared for next year. Ranchers have baled their hay for the year and mostly hauled it home. Harvest for grain farmers is complete or nearing completion. Whatever work we've been busy doing all Virgo season, equinox provides a little breather.

Venus-ruled Libra is a sign related to relationships, social life, and art, among other things, so Libra season (September 22 to October 23) is a time of stronger social energy - fall get-togethers, parties, backyard fires, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, tipping back a little cider, and the last outdoor farmers and craft markets of the year. 

We know winter is soon on its way, but for now, we get to soak up the last bit of toasty warmth in the Sun, enjoying both the beautiful fall leaves and the beautiful people in our lives. Every last moment before the snow flies is precious!

The fall of 2022 appears to be an even more sociable time than usual, as action planet Mars is in an extended, seven-month transit of social butterfly Gemini. Mars is in the shadow of its upcoming retrograde until October 30, indicating a period of super-charged connections, conversations, information-sharing, and networking. 

The sign Gemini is ruled by the planet Mercury, and we will experience a potent conjunction of the Sun and Mercury retrograde on the zero degree of Libra to mark fall equinox. The Sun-Mercury Rx conjunction at zero degrees Libra occurs on September 23 at 12:50 a.m. CST. This, again, indicates the importance of reaching out, connecting, and making the effort to get together with those we like and love this Libra season. 

On the zero degree of Libra, this Sun-Mercury Rx conjunction indicates fresh social starts and new beginnings in the social realms. We start again. We start a-fresh. Because the people we love, no matter how frictional our relationships may be, are worth it. Because people and community are worth it. Because humanity is worth it. Because renewing the social fabric that supports us all at one time or another is, without a doubt, worth it. 

Just following fall equinox, we will experience a New Moon at 2 degrees Libra (September 25 at 3:54 p.m. CST). This New Moon occurs in a tight opposition to Jupiter retrograde at 3 degrees Aries.

When Canadians are gathering to meet the convoy in -27 weather, you know we mean business!

 

Following the January 15, 2022 deadline for all truckers to submit to the mRNA shots or be fired, thousands of truckers and supporters from across Canada are on their way to Ottawa, Ontario in the biggest convoy this planet has ever seen. The truckers are planning to deadlock Ottawa - home of the Canadian Federal Government - and temporarily disrupt the supply chain (Uranus in Taurus) until all mandates are ended for all people in Canada.

The truckers are being met along their route by thousands of Canadians with signs, food, water, fireworks, and well wishes as the convoy makes its way across the country. Many truckers and onlookers (this anarchist astro-reporter included) have been overwhelmed by the massive outpouring of love and support for this action. People have been lining the highways and overpasses all along the route, even in frigid temperatures, sometimes waiting hours for the chance to show their support and encouragement as the convoy goes by. 

"End the mandates" protests, both big and small, have been ongoing around the world since 2020, with the highly unpopular "vax passes" galvanizing these efforts since fall of 2021. Tens of millions worldwide have been marching through the streets regularly to express opposition to medical tyranny, authoritarian "lockdowns," and the two-tiered society currently being socially engineered to divide those who have had the shots and those who have not. You'll not hear much, if anything, about any of this on mainstream media.

Ceres and Persephone Conjunct the North Node of the Moon as the Nodes Shift Signs

Dwarf planet Ceres in late Taurus and her daughter asteroid Persephone in early Gemini are currently moving retrograde in a tight conjunction to each other as they also conjunct the North Node of the Moon. 

The Nodes of the Moon are about to change signs with the North Node entering Taurus and the South Node entering Scorpio on January 18, 2022. Ceres and Persephone will both station direct in January 2022 in tight conjunctions to each other and to the North Node of the Moon. This indicates that the themes surrounding this mother-daughter duo are very important as we orient ourselves to the new nodal axis, and this influence will continue over the next 18 months.

"Both Ceres, the dwarf planet associated with agriculture, nourishment, and the fertility of the Earth, and her daughter asteroid Persephone, unwitting (and unwilling) Queen of the Underworld, are stationing direct at the time of the nodal shift. Both bodies station direct in tight conjunction to each other and to the North Node of the Moon. Following so many months of acute discomfort and difficulty, we’re creating relaxation, comfort, and mutual enjoyment (Taurus) to nourish our parched souls. The North Node shield provides even more important shelter for us under the mothering watch of Ceres. That said, the strong influence of Persephone in early Gemini at the time of the nodal shift indicates that we are required to mentally digest and integrate some very disturbing Underworldly information, context, and perspective if we are to be fully successful on our new North Node path.

Fortification for the Plutonic Soul

The Scorpy types. The Plutonics. We're a little cliched in astrology circles simply because there has been so much written, discussed, and hashed over on these subjects. But really, there's a reason for the cliches and the time spent analyzing. Without astrology and a semblance of an understanding of the processes and cycles Plutonics go through, how would we even survive? Even with astrology, it seems touch-and-go at times.

And this is not to be depressing, negative, or pessimistic, all you non-Plutonics out there. It's just reality. If you don't go through these processes, if you don't live them on a regular, sometimes daily, basis, I don't think you could understand it. I know the same can be said for a lot of situations and conditions people live through - you don't understand it until you live it. I understand we all have our difficulties to bear, and I know there are other planets, dwarf or otherwise, that bring their own forms of misery. Saturn and Neptune both create almost impossibly difficult circumstances of their own at times, as do many others.

There's a difference between a Pluto transit to one of your natal planets or a transiting planet in Scorpio touching off a Plutonic hell-ride and having a natal Sun, Moon, or stellium in Scorpio or a tight natal aspect to Pluto. I know the transits are unbelievably harsh at times, but they will pass. Your natal chart won't.

And so Plutonic types have some thorny dilemmas to chew over and work out:

How to create successful and soul-satisfying relationships with non-Plutonic people. How to keep your shit to yourself, your unending processing to yourself, but at the same time find the day-to-day love, sharing, acceptance, mutuality, and intimacy desired within a real relationship. Because Plutonic types need that. If they don't have it, they'll stay out of relationships altogether.

How to keep from envying or resenting those who don't have to slog quite so heavily though the Plutonic muck. Those feelings are natural but could put an end to any kind of mutuality or equality that could exist.

And how to find the strength, energy, and courage to love the other person as they need to be loved while simultaneously going through all this craziness.

How to even believe you deserve another person's love and affection when you're at your most hell-tastic, exhausted, and repulsive, when your energetic being feels like a series of nuclear explosions going off, when the nuclear fallout is coursing through your system, removing layers of yourself that you really, actually thought you were going to need. Erupting volcanoes painfully twisting and morphing your elemental structure into something Pluto finds more pleasing, for as long as it deems necessary.

And when you're mourning those lost layers, those released selves, those versions of yourself that you really, actually liked. Those hoped-for versions of life and relationships and planetary conditions that you held, deeply-cherished, as secret in your heart. Because maybe if you kept them secret and very, very quiet and told no one but yourself, Pluto would leave those ones alone.

Nope.

T'was not to be.

Asclepius-Panacea in Libra Square Pluto in Capricorn: A Pattern of Denial, Dismissal, and Gaslighting From the Medical System (mRNA Shots)

As written about in a previous article, health and healing-related asteroids Asclepius and Panacea are currently in a conjunction in late Libra. Asclepius-Panacea in Libra are also forming square aspects to Pluto Rx at 25 degrees Capricorn.

Under these astrological influences, we're seeing the deadly and damaging (Pluto) effects of a corporate (Capricorn) global health panacea (Asclepius-Panacea) with an increasingly coercive campaign attempting to force this false panacea on unwilling people.

The asteroid Panacea holds domain over the theme: what heals or helps one person can seriously harm or even kill another person. 

In other words, there is no real panacea, no true universal cure. Attempting to force this type of false panacea for profit-based or control-based reasons will have disastrous and deadly consequences - consequences we're now seeing around the world.  

The injuries and deaths being caused around the world by the experimental gene therapy shots are being covered up and ignored by media, government, and much of the medical system. 

"Not vaccine related" and "no direct correlation" are the common refrains while scores of healthy, young people drop dead or suddenly become disabled after receiving the shots. 

Large social media groups related to injuries and deaths following the Covid shots have been deleted on Facebook. People who have been injured and disabled following the shot have been censored from sharing their own stories on social media platforms. Whistleblower doctors have been threatened, censored, professionally censured, fired, or stripped of their medical licenses for going against the enforced official narrative.

Asclepius-Panacea in Libra indicates a theme of health-related justice. To these ends, I've compiled information from online testimonials that shows a pattern of denial, dismissal, and gaslighting from the medical system in relation to the injuries and deaths that have followed the Covid shots. 

This type of denial, dismissal, and gaslighting is not the exclusive domain of the experimental gene therapy. No, indeed. This pattern is seen extensively in the medical system when it attempts to cover up or downplay adverse reactions and iatrogenic (physician-caused) illnesses and deaths. This pattern is also seen with illnesses the medical establishment doesn't understand or know how to treat.

Iatrogenic (physician-caused) illnesses and deaths are epidemic at this time, fueled intensely by the profit-driven antics and influence of Big Pharma. Iatrogenic deaths are in the top three causes of death in the United States, and some say (due to massive under-reporting of adverse reactions) they are the leading cause of death.

The people who have been injured by the Covid shots are just the newest initiates into the Hell of iatrogenic injury and disability - a most often denied reality. This is a Hell that hundreds of millions of people around the world know or have known, including this astro-reporter. The attempt to cover up and suppress the injuries and deaths from the Covid shots is just the most recent area of cover up and suppression when it comes to adverse reactions and iatrogenic injuries and deaths. 

Suicide Prevention Through Astrological Awareness: Mars-Saturn Contacts

This is a Plutonic awareness article discussing suicidal tendencies associated with contacts between Mars and Saturn and particularly square aspects between those two bodies. This article will not be everyone's cup of tea, but as a Plutonic astrologer, I do think the exploration of this topic is valuable if done with love and respect.

I've been writing about Mars-Saturn contacts and the increased risk of suicide, particularly for men, since 2011. You can see all Mars-Saturn contacts articles here. 

Mars-Saturn Contacts: Notoriously Challenging

Mars-Saturn contacts, and particularly the square aspect, indicate the potential for acute challenge and difficulty. If placements in the natal chart are being aspected, a person can feel as if he or she is being held or trapped within tremendously tough circumstances without a viable route through them. Pressure, frustration, and despair can build to extreme levels under these contacts, and this has been shown in the past to increase the risk of suicide. A permanent decision (Saturn) is made, perhaps impulsively (Mars), that cannot be taken back. This most permanent of decisions is made in an attempt to deal with difficulties that, no matter how complex or challenging, are most likely temporary in their acute severity.

Under Mars-Saturn contacts, and particularly a Mars-Saturn square, we can feel as if our forward-ho motion is being stalled, blocked, or restricted in despair-inducing ways. We can feel as if our will is being thwarted and our movement painfully restricted. There can be a feeling that any action taken is pointless or that it will not bring about the desired result. There can be intense fear related to taking any action at all, creating a feeling of being stuck in the circumstances or problems with no outlet or solution. Our responsibilities, obligations, and challenges can seem tremendously heavy and exhausting under these contacts to the point that we doubt our ability to deal with them successfully.

Saturn can convince us (erroneously) that our problems will be this tough forever, that we've made no progress, and that there is no way out, no solution. 

Mars-Saturn contacts, and particularly squares, have a tendency to stir "between a rock and a hard place" frustrations. It can seem as if any move we make will be inadequate. Extremely uncomfortable conditions can arise and be prolonged under these contacts. 

Mars and Saturn are the two malefic planets of the zodiac. They can be really nasty buggers. When Mars and Saturn form a 90-degree square aspect, the two bodies are interacting in a particularly frictional, tense, and frustrating way. It may seem, under this aspect, that we've been stuck with the same set of problems for our entire lives, never able to gain satisfactory traction toward a long-term solution. We may be rubbing up against certain aspects of our circumstances in frictional ways, stirring feelings of anger, impatience, frustration, dread, fear, self-doubt, or defeat. 

Mars-Saturn contacts are an indicator that we’re being challenged to do things we don't really want to do, things we don’t feel we have the strength or energy to do at that moment. The feeling of being forced to make a move then kicks up anxiety, fear, and dread.  

Mars-Saturn contacts, particularly the square aspect, can indicate extreme or even intolerable frustration. These contacts can indicate restrictions being put on our ability to take action or our ability to achieve outward success within given conditions. The difficulties associated with Saturn - fear, dread, self-doubt, depression, low energy, lack of motivation, financial or career challenge - are inflamed, activated, and stirred up (Mars). There can be a feeling of not being up to the task at hand, of not being equipped to fulfill our obligations and responsibilities or the requirements of our public facades. 

In my observation, the Mars-Saturn square can be particularly harsh for men. It may be more difficult for men to talk about their challenges, especially with depression or mental/emotional health. Failure, especially career failure, may be an all-pervading fear and could lead to feeling like a failure as a person. 

Under transiting contacts, the most acute challenges are most often temporary, and things generally seem more difficult than they really are. Giving things more time is often a good strategy.

Saturn relates to fear and self-doubt, and the influence of Mars inflames or exacerbates these difficulties to a point where they might not seem manageable anymore.  

There is an intersection between anger (Mars) and depression (Saturn).

Of course, there are many beneficial elements to the Mars-Saturn contact, as well. It indicates the drive and the will (Mars) to tackle tough challenges step-by-step (Saturn), challenges under which others might buckle. Working through difficult emotions and learning new strategies for dealing with those emotions allow us to make solid progress that puts us in stronger long-term position. These are contacts that can help us to face our fears and take action in our lives. These contacts create the energy and impetus to overcome even long-standing problems and obstacles. If the (sometimes extreme) difficulties of these contacts are worked with patiently over time, we can make very substantial and satisfying progress. We can come into a new level of authority, self-control, and self-mastery by meeting their challenges. Elements of our lives that seemed outside our control can slowly come under our personal dominion.

Global "Lockdowns" Under a Prolonged Mars-Saturn Square (2020/2021) Lead to Mental Health Crisis

We experienced a prolonged square between Mars and Saturn in 2020 and early 2021. This coincided with "lockdown" restrictions around the world that put many people in very precarious financial and emotional/psychological territory. Suicides have been reported regularly throughout this period, but official statistics in most countries will not be available possibly for years. We will have to wait for the statistical data to see whether lockdown measures coincided with increased suicides, along with related deaths like overdoses. Anecdotal evidence indicates that this is the case.  

Faux Aquarian Corporate Do-Gooding and Mastering the Plutonic Sociological Imagination as Pluto Nears the End of its Transit of Capricorn

As Jupiter and Saturn prepare to leave Capricorn (corporations, institutions, structure) for Aquarius (groups, global issues, social engineering), our intelligence is being terribly insulted with the announcement of a new group of self-appointed corporate global "Guardians," brought together by Pope Francis and the Vatican.

This group, calling itself the Council for Inclusive Capitalism, claims it will come together to save the world through hiring more women and people of colour, switching to renewable energy, and promoting the recycling of water. 

This is common Aquarian Era schtick, and we must be aware of these transparent, faux do-gooding manipulations ahead of the Pluto in Aquarius years (2023 to 2044). Saturn transits Aquarius from 2020 to 2023, and there is a major attempt to establish and cement these types of "woke corporate" manipulations ahead of the Pluto transit. It's corporate re-branding for the Aquarian Era with strong themes involving global organization, (false) humanitarianism, "green" environmentalism, and the supposed elevation of humanity.

The list of self-appointed global corporate "Guardians" is absolutely farcical, including Rockefeller, Rothschild, Dupont, and British Petroleum, among other highly illustrious members, not to mention the Vatican itself.

The corporations and groups declaring themselves our trusted global "Guardians" are some of the worst criminals on Earth, including literal mass murderers. Let's be very clear on this - using renewable energy and hiring women and minorities does not miraculously make these criminals into good people when they've knowingly profited - and continue to profit - from the injury and murder of millions.

As Pluto transitions between Capricorn and Aquarius, the multi-billion dollar transnational corporations and institutions (Capricorn) that have created so much misery and toxicity on this planet will now attempt to morph into Humanitarian Global Governor Superheroes (Aquarius). They've profited massively from the problems they've created and will now attempt to cash in by selling us the supposed solutions - still steeped in the same control, coercion, and corruption at their Plutonic core. 

It is, in fact, the owners and executives of many of these corporations and institutions who should be under the watch of "Guardians" - prison guards in maximum security prisons. 

Spiritual Sovereignty as the Long Game Ahead of the Next Saturn-Pluto Conjunction

As spiritually sovereign beings, we reject the technocratic control being planned for humanity during the Pluto in Aquarius years (2023 to 2044). We reject any artificial and socially-engineered version of life imposed on us top-down without our input or consent. We reject a world where machines (and machine-like people) make our decisions for us based on data-collection, privacy-annihilation, and algorithms. We reject the imposition of manufactured values that are not our values - a key Uranus in Taurus theme. We choose a life that is governed by us from a spiritually-sovereign state, according to our own spiritual guidance, principles, and conscience. 

 

We know they're coming for the very spirit of us. This is what they cannot control, cannot enslave, cannot contain, no matter what they do to our physical bodies. We can see it coming decades ahead. We can see it coming in the Pluto in Pisces years (2043 to 2068). 

 

Saturn and Pluto form a conjunction at 14 degrees Pisces on July 10, 2053 and then again at 13 degrees Pisces on February 1, 2054. Authoritarian forms (Saturn) that attempt to bring an annihilation (Pluto) of spirituality and the human spirit (Pisces). This includes the proliferation of false forms of spirituality or a false God. Domination and control through a poisoned or poisonous (Pluto) version of spirituality (Pisces). Poisoning the human spirit.

 

These silly machinations are all so predictable, aren't they?

 

The mysterious inner knowing; the magic of living; the beautiful, organic flow; the love and connections that link us through time, space, and location - this is what they have their sights set on. This is what the fools think they can stamp out of existence. Our spiritual sovereignty - governed by connection to a higher power or to our own consciences or both. The energetic transcendence of physical life and its forms. The unifying energy. This is what they think they can take from us. 

When the machine tells us to live in a way that contravenes our own consciences or spiritual principles, they want us so mind-controlled that we choose the machine...

 

The Saturn-Pluto conjunction at 22 degrees Capricorn on January 12, 2020 was an astrological indicator of the largest authoritarian power grab in human history. There has been an attempt to gain complete control over the structure and function of daily human life. This power grab was fed by the largest and most elaborate psychological operative ever carried out against the people of Earth, and this psychological operative is ongoing.

 

The next Saturn-Pluto conjunction is in Pisces in 2053/54, and we can already see the astrological writing on the wall. In light of this, a firm re-commitment to our spiritual sovereignty is in order, along with regular renewal of that commitment in our conscious minds, words, and deeds.

Communication, information, and intelligence planet Mercury goes retrograde on October 13 at 11 degrees Scorpio in a conjunction to soul mate asteroid Juno and an opposition to Uranus Rx in Taurus. 

This indicates an unusual mix of energies involving the collection of foundational information that validates what were once considered unconventional, bizarre, or "out there" perspectives. The influence of Juno in Scorpio indicates that our soul mates have perspective or information to share that helps in this validation process, putting a more solid foundation under us. Even when it seems as if we are alone in our Plutonic/Scorpionic awareness of the corruption and, let's face it, evil coming down from on high, our soul mates are right there with us, working from behind the scenes to expose the very same things we are working to expose. They find the manipulations, the lies, and the illegitimacy just as intolerable as we do, and it's comforting to know we share this burden and this work.

These aspects and their themes remain influential for an extended period of time with a concentration point on October 19 as Mercury retrograde simultaneously forms a second exact conjunction to Juno in Scorpio and a second exact opposition to Uranus Rx in Taurus at 9 degrees of the signs.

Scorpio is a sign that involves examination, investigation, and research. It's the detective of the zodiac. Scorpio digs beneath surface realities to expose, in particular, the dark underbelly of hidden power dynamics. 

Scorpio is a sign that seeks healing, release, regeneration, and empowerment, and when Mercury is in the sign, these things are coming about through information, communication, and mutual understanding, including mutual understanding of the realities that most fear, deny, suppress, or attack.

Peacekeeping (Libra) Versus Peacemaking (Scorpio)

This might be a controversial assertion, but I don't think the sign of Libra alone is all that skilled in the creation of peace. Libra is the peacekeeper, maybe. But peacemaker? Peace creator? No.

Libra can often maintain, through its slick social skills and airy diplomacy, a form of peace that has already been established, but getting to a state of real peace often involves getting into it, and Libra is a sign that, especially when squared by Cancer or Capricorn, prefers to avoid that unpleasantness.

This avoidance is problematic because getting to a real state of peace often involves complex and longstanding disputes, injustices, imbalances, injuries, and instances of oppression that have been hidden, covered over, smoothed over, let slide, reinforced - made worse, in fact, by Libra's glossing over of realities and nervous insistence on everything staying nicey-nice.

Slapping a Band-Aid on it and forcing a phony handshake over drinks without addressing underlying issues is not the recipe for true, longstanding justice or the peace that stems from that. Keeping everything Libran light and pleasant isn't really the goal when you get right down to it - getting to the root of the discord and injustice is, as well as to a mutual understanding of what caused and continues to cause these things so they can be addressed and the chains broken.

The drawing up and divining sign of Scorpio, then, becomes instrumental in the process of peace creation. The road to peace might be initiated in cardinal air Libra, but it's fixed water Scorpio that digs in and takes the process beneath the surface, where it needs to go to be truly effective.

It's the catalytic power of expressing the raw human experiences of millennia of suppression on this planet, especially emotional and psychological realities, that starts the process toward real peace, equality, and harmony. If we can't get to and express the core realities, we don't get to any real healing, peace, or understanding.

With Scorpio, there is right and wrong, good and evil, just and unjust - and these cut-and-dry distinctions can make Libra, which at times searches for common ground that does not exist, very uncomfortable. This is part of the reason why Venus, Libra's ruling planet, is considered to be in its detriment in Scorpio.

Scorpio is a sign that is, or rather, can become, fully aware of core realities and hidden dynamics, especially of the domination/subjugation variety. Skilled Scorpionic types (whether that be a strong Scorpio contingent, a strong Pluto, a strong 8th house, or a combination) can feel a subtle energetic disruption that most other people wouldn't have the radar to pick up, and they can follow that disruption right to the root via sheer intuition.

Scorpionic or Plutonic people can understand the root causes of behaviour that others would write off as bizarre or extreme - especially when that behaviour is an expression of collectively-reinforced repressive/oppressive dynamics. Scorpio understands that at a certain level of collective denial, the pressure on the individuals with awareness cannot be contained any longer, and it erupts. Scorpio is a sign associated with volcanic eruptions and  also nuclear meltdowns of the emotional variety. 

Pluto Stationing Direct in Capricorn Conjunct Saturn and Resisting Everyday Fascism

Lord of the Underworld Pluto stations direct at 20 degrees Capricorn on October 2 (11:39 p.m. PDT) within a conjunction to Cosmic Daddy Saturn, and patriarchal bureaucratic hierarchy's got us down!

Even recognizing the invisible, top-down, coercive hand of Everyday Fascism in the functioning of mainstream society is challenging and exhausting, let alone resisting it while using our own steely wills to chart a different course.

But recognizing and resisting this Everyday Fascism and then choosing a different course through our daily lives is exactly the challenge that has been laid at our feet under the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn (exact in January 2020).

The rigid, artificial rhythms for daily work and life that have been set out for us are internalized by most at a very young age. We're born into it. This is just "what's normal." It's "what's done." It's "the way things are."

The Machine tells us: when to wake up, when to eat or drink, when to get in our cars or on our buses or trains, when to start work, when to stop work, when to take a 15-minute break from work, when to speak (and what to say), when not to speak (and what not to say), when to take a piss, when to pay our bills, when to take our allotted leisure time, when to be entertained, when to have sex, when to go to sleep. Then rinse and repeat.

Above all, The Machine tells us: faster, faster! More slick! More efficient! More impressive! Just more!

Can't rest. Can't slow down. Can't re-direct. Can't stop. Can't show signs of weakness with the wolves at our doors.

Pluto Stationing Retrograde in Capricorn: From Millions Against Monsanto to Billions Against Bayer

Pluto is slowing in the zodiac to station retrograde April 20 at 19 degrees Capricorn, and the illegitimacy of the corpo-governmental power structures on Planet Earth would be hard to deny at this point even for the staunchest of maya-dwellers.

Pluto is nothing if not a fan of laying shit bare.
 

Under the stationing potency of the Lord of the Underworld in the sign of the corporation, protests are being set for April 28, 2017 in Bonn and Berlin, Germany to show resistance to the planned merger of German-based pharmaceutical, chemical, and genetically modified seed giant Bayer with the most well-known face of genetically modified foods, Monsanto.

These protests are set to coincide with Bayer Corporations' Annual General Meeting on April 28 in Bonn. (Please note: Bayer moved its AGM from Cologne to smaller Bonn at the last minute in an effort to avoid the protests.)

Please register with us if you want to speak at the meeting. Together, we will show BAYER’s responsible people, managers and major shareholders what we think of their crimes.

So for those who can't make the demonstrations in Germany, take to YouTube, social media, or the streets on (or around) April 28 to express what you would like to say to Bayer executives. Use Twitter hashtags #stopbayermonsanto and #billionsagainstbayer, or tweet directly to Bayer at @BayerAG. Organize a solidarity demonstration in your town - perhaps outside your local drug store or grocery store - and share the photos and stories. Even a single individual acting alone can raise a lot of needed awareness. If you feel moved by this issue, participate in any way you can.

The planned merger of Bayer with Monsanto follows other recent mega-mergers in the GMO and chemicals game - Dow and DuPont joined forces to form DowDuPont in 2015, and ChemChina merged with Syngenta in 2016.

In a truly Pluto in Capricornian move, Bayer is planning to swallow up the highly toxic public facade of Monsanto Corporation for $62 billion, obscuring the evil deeds of both under its falsely innocuous brand of "the Aspirin company." 

It's our job not to allow this burying of dirty deeds to happen. It's our job to see through this hollow public relations strategy as the ruthless power consolidation move that it is. 

As I sit here writing this, in a state of physical debilitation and pain, as I have been every day for the past seven-and-a-half years since taking Bayer's devil drug antibiotic Cipro, it would be quite impossible for me to forget the evils of the Bayer Corporation. It would be impossible for me to forget that this corporation matches, if not trumps, the crimes against humanity committed by Monsanto. 

Points to Ponder Under the Scorpio New Moon

I just found this in my drafts from a few years ago, and it seemed apropos as we open out of the 7-degree Scorpio New Moon today:

One of the biggest ways to screw yourself over if you're an "all in" Plutonic type is to mistake someone else as "all in" when, in fact, they are "one foot in, one foot out."

Just to keep it straight: most people, if they have any designs on fundamental change on this planet at all, are "one foot in, one foot out." They'll rail against the hierarchy but only from within the security of that hierarchy. They'll bitch about the masses, but only from a socially acceptable position.

When you get right down to it, most people want to fit in. They want a "normal" life, firmly within the insulating folds of whatever establishment will have them.

One of the greatest and most wondrous things the Pluto in Capricorn transit is doing, with world economies timed to implode one-by-one like dominoes, is it's making it harder for people to further insulate themselves within their version of the American/Canadian Dream.

Don't get me wrong. At this point, most people just want back into the fold. They just want back in their safe, secure 8 to 5 with dental or whatever variation there might be. People just want back on the treadmill, damn it.

But I'm glad Pluto is not allowing that.

For billions of people on this planet - the majority of people on this planet - being insulated within that mainstream dream was never an option to begin with.

And this is what it's like for truly Plutonic people. There is no option of being insulated from what's really going on on this planet. There is no way to put the blinders back up after they've been unceremoniously torn down. There is no going along with it, unless one can tolerate being soul-poisoned by the facade they must project to do so.

But most people aren't like this, and this is a key thing to remember, especially during Scorpio season. Plutonic people are a special breed, under a special set of conditions that most of the human race couldn't tolerate let alone succeed or prosper under.

To forget that - to project the "all in" Plutonic qualities on people who don't, ultimately, have them - is one way those who have Pluto as a driving force in their lives can screw themselves over royally...

I'm always surprised when people are surprised that I'm fairly Plutonically hardcore (and so is this blog). It seems evident to me, but with all the Neptunian projection that goes on on the interweb, a disclaimer might be a good way to get it out of the way.

As is the case with most Plutonics/Scorpionics, I don't put up with any crap, and when people try to feed me crap (yes, I see them doing it, and yes, I know it's crap), I refuse it and dump it back in their laps. This generally leaves people miffed and/or stunned, but their crap is not my responsibility.

Some would call me bitchy. I prefer witchy.

That said, Plutonic/Scorpionic types are generally deeply intuitive and accepting of extremes, able to hold the energy of people in various emotional and psychological states - usually because they have experienced some variation of those states themselves. They don't shy away from the more difficult aspects of life, including death.

If you're dealing with a difficult situation (or a difficult life, period), if your life has just imploded, if you have a major case of the transformational yucks, or if you are just royally and righteously pissed off for some reason, someone with a good handle on this energy is the person you would want in your corner. You can tell them what's really going on for you - as long as it's honest and coming from your own experience - and they can not only deal but work with it intricately to help extricate you from the oppressiveness of it, all while empowering you and keeping you out of co-dependency.

It should be known that Plutonics don't let up easily. A dog with a bone. We're pretty close to relentless. We have to be. We're here to expose power dynamics that have been kept buried for millenia as well as the injurious, unjust, and deadly consequences of those buried power dynamics.

We're here to figure out what's killing us so we can expose it and stop it. We're here to reach critical mass, to hit the marks that catalyze real improvement, real change, while providing such unerring, unfaltering evidence that it breaks through the mass denial that has been crystallized into insulating, deadened shrouds.

It's no easy task.

We're working with issues that people will do everything in their power to deny. People will kill (and do) to keep this stuff covered up.

Most would rather deal with a slow, unexamined, day-to-day poisoning that does not require anything of them than be faced with the raw truth of the situation - something they would have to deal with.

Plutonics wouldn't, though. They can't. So they have to dig it out, and they're here to get all of it. Nothing half-assed will do. Any tentacle left behind will attach and re-grow.

Plutonic people can follow a thread for months or years through thorny bramble bushes, over barbed wire, through mucky gutters, past armed guards, finally reaching the root and clearing away the detritus around it. In a lot of cases, as soon as they get it cleared, along comes a boot to kick mountains of earth back over it. Then the boot plants itself in their faces.

But in other cases, not. In other cases, they find the spaces to move through and bring it up to the light of day. This is happening more and more. It's getting easier.

I'm not a fearmonger. I'm also not "negative," "dark," "pessimistic," or any of the other words used to discredit my point-of-view.

As I've said before, I don't see the world through the New Age light/dark, positive/negative filter. I believe that paradigm is an artificial one set up to keep people from their own authentic experience while denying the authentic experience of others - where the power is.

Incidentally, the denigration and demonization of "the dark" has its root in black/white racism and Aryan supremacy - something the New Age is intrinsically connected to.

From Howard Zinn's book A People's History of the United States:

"The colour black was considered distasteful in England. The Oxford English Dictionary defined it as: "Deeply stained with dirt; soiled, dirty, foul. Having dark or deadly purposes, malignant; pertaining to or involving death, deadly; baneful, disastrous, sinister. Foul, iniquitous, atrocious, horribly wicked. Indicating disgrace, censure, liability to punishment, etc."

The colour white, on the other hand, was often used, especially in poetry, to mean beauty, purity, chasteness, what's good and right."

I'm well aware that the power and spiritual energy of righteous people is stronger than the nasty deeds and tactics being used by the criminally insane/inhumane who call themselves our leaders. That has never been in question.

But I also know the ways in which people's most potent energy and awareness is being diverted, manipulated, and used for ends that are not in their best interests.

I know fascism when I see/feel it. You can dress it up, Photoshop it, call it enlightened - it's still fascism.

So I strip the layers, bit-by-bit, as people kick and scream and fight to hold on, to stay comfortably blanketed in them.

What a Plutonic person knows is that in order for things to change this stuff has to be brought up and fully integrated into collective awareness. People have to be living as if it's real, as if it affects them, and as if the wrongs being brought down are being brought down on them - because this is the case. Decisions have to be made, courses have to be changed, using this awareness, so we keep uncovering and providing it. We keep finding the cracks to widen.

And I guess knowing it can make people feel helpless and hopeless because we're dealing with issues that don't fit into the problem-reaction-solution model - another artificial construct. There are no easy, quick-fix answers. It's almost impossibly complex, complicated, tangled.

But working with this bottom-line reality is what I find meaningful. It's what I find exciting and interesting. Sometimes it's even fun. And it's what makes me a good astrologer.

The soft, sleepy Neptunian clouds are maybe pretty to look at, but I do beauty, not pretty.

I know what has been brought down on the people on this planet, and I know what is still being brought down. The injustice of their injuries and deaths burns in me because it's my own. This is not the ancient past. We are not "ascending" out of it. We do not simply "transcend" what has gone on and what is currently going on. The slaughters and poisonings were brought down 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 40 years ago, a century or two. It's the blink of an eye. It's yesterday. It's just the other side of the Neptunian veil dropped over the eyes of the willing. It's a single step outside the Aquarian virtual realities holding rapt attention.

I know the people who have been hurt because they are me. These are the people whose hearts are with mine. What has been brought down on them has been brought down on me, on us. That's real Pisces - not the separation and transcendence and lovey-lighty, awakey-ascendy glossing over that's being preached and sold these days.

All this smoulders and burns until it is rectified. And until it is out in the open, understood, felt, loved, and dealt with en masse, so do I. So does anyone who feels it as their own. The Plutonics.

At this point, holding the awareness of what has gone on and what is going on is doing something. Making changes and decisions in your own life based on it is doing something. Most people are not doing so. It flits into their minds for a minute or two, maybe, and then it's onto something else.

So for all the Plutonic consciousness comrades out there:

Don't doubt yourself.
Don't ever let them reframe your experience into something more palatable and comfortable for them.
What you're doing, reaching the points of authenticity and honesty that you are reaching, is highly effective, and that's why it's such a threat to those who wish to maintain the establishment status quo as you go.
