New Moon in Sagittarius: The Integration of the Sobering Truth Shall Set Us Free

We are currently moving to a 19-degree Sagittarius New Moon, exact at 4:29 a.m. CST on December 11.

The Sun and Moon in Sagittarius generally have a buoyant and inspiring feel to them, indicating an over-arching freedom of spirit that uplifts no matter what our circumstances may be.

The availability of this uplifting energy is a very good thing, as the Moon will be in the sign of its fall - deep, dark, tooth-gnashing Scorpio - leading in to the New Moon on Friday.

The Moon will also form a conjunction to Saturn in Sagittarius as it completes its Balsamic or Dark phase (exact at 9:02 a.m. on December 10), drawing the energy of the "sobering truth" into the proceedings for the following 28-day lunar cycle.

We'll need some cosmic assistance to buoy our spirits as we work with the heavier emotional tenor indicated by this Moon-Saturn conjunction...

The themes outlined in this article will be in effect for the 28-day lunar cycle that ends with the Capricorn New Moon on January 9, 2016.
