Necessary Discordant Notes as Uranus Makes Its Final Conjunction to Eris in Aries

Revolutionary rabble-rouser Uranus is currently moving into its final exact conjunction to Goddess of Discord dwarf planet Eris at 22 degrees Aries, indicating some rebellious and shit-disturbing themes at play, extending to mid-May.

At the same time as the Uranus-Eris conjunction becomes exact, Jupiter retrograde in Libra is backing into oppositions to Eris (February 22) and Uranus (March 2), just as Venus stations retrograde at 13 degrees Aries on March 4.

Eris, Uranus, and Jupiter are within orb of aspects to Pluto in Capricorn, and warrior planet Mars, at home in its own sign of Aries, makes contact with all these bodies in late February, as well.

Mars in Aries will square Pluto in Capricorn exactly on February 22, followed by a powerhouse conjunction to Uranus-Eris in Aries and opposition to Jupiter Rx in Libra on February 26/27 during the New Moon annular solar eclipse at 8 degrees Pisces conjunct Neptune.

Communication planet Mercury will activate the Uranus-Eris energy yet again on March 25/26, forming a conjunction to this somewhat agitated hot spot. The winged messenger will then go retrograde from April 9 - May 3 (4 degrees Taurus to 24 degrees Aries) before stationing direct at 24 degrees Aries in conjunction to Uranus and Eris, stirring things up again in late April/early May.

So what does this indicate?

Things are electric, energized, edgy, antsy, agitated, stirred up. It's time for some changes, including personal shake-ups, breakthroughs, and revolutions that help lead us and others onto new ground.

If the way things are going on Planet Earth doesn't do it for you in some way (or in almost all ways), it's time to let that rebel flag fly. It's time to put ourselves out there a little so we can join - even just psychically - with others of like mind, with others who also sum these times up with a giant "wtf?"

Powerfully-Positioned Uranus in Aries Leads the Charge Through Aquarius Season

We move through the zero-degree Aquarius New Moon portal on January 20 like a shot.

The velocity with which things are moving now and for the following three months is astounding - but we need all this velocity in order to break through.

We are changing the blueprints, changing the rules, and changing set patterns. These are patterns that have been continued for generations, for thousands of years in many cases, and we need the big, bold Uranian charge, as ruler of Aquarius, to both disrupt these patterns and to propel us forward into something new, beyond old traps and sticking points.

So you see, the disruption of the standard ways is necessary now, nothing to mourn or lament.

Things are busting loose on Planet Earth over the next three months, and there's no going back. If you've been following the true narrative on this planet, you'll realize we don't want to go back. We have nothing to go back to. Despite the temptations of nostalgia, there has never been a fully satisfactory time on this planet.

We have to keep moving. And move we will.

This Aquarius season is disposited (heavily influenced) by electric rabble rouser Uranus in Aries conjunct the South Node of the Moon and tightly square Pluto in Capricorn. Intense. Powerful. The moving of mountains.

Uranus forms an exact conjunction to the South Node in Aries on January 20 - on the day of the zero-degree Aquarius New Moon (occurring at 7:14 a.m. CST) - and this aspect produces the dominant themes for the following 28-day lunar cycle.

Uranus is also hurtling into the seventh and final Uranus-Pluto square, exact on March 16, 2015 - the first square in the series where both Uranus and Pluto will be moving direct.

We're spinning things off left and right as we move into new era energetics - in our selves, in our lives, in our relationships, in our families, businesses, societies, and institutions. There isn't one area of life that is left untouched by this final square aspect between the planet of revolution and the planet of transformation.

H.A.A.R.P. Homeopathy and the 3rd Anniversary of the Ongoing Fukushima Nuclear Disaster March 11

Riding the waves
Photos: Willow

From the beginning, I felt that the nuclear disaster at Fukushima, Japan was a planned and orchestrated event. I wrote about it on the blog on March 16, 2011. I believed this then, and I believe it now.

Of course, none of the citizens knows exactly what occurred there in March 2011, and none of us knows exactly what has occurred since. There is a global media blackout underway, and any truthful information being released is old news - things we should have heard two or more years ago.

We're scrapping things together, bit-by-bit. We're having to do our own testing, research, and analysis. And we're our own media on the subject, as well, as the "authority figures" have chosen to either stay silent or to straight-out lie about the radioactive contamination and associated risks.

But my feeling was that the H.A.A.R.P. (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) or a similar energy weapon was used to initiate the massive 9.0 earthquake, which created a tsunami that brought down the Daiichi nuclear reactors. That reported earthquake was the biggest Japan had ever experienced, the biggest most of Earth had ever experienced. A blanket of wavy "H.A.A.R.P clouds" was visible in the sky above Fukushima after the event. More than 19,000 Japanese people were murdered by that event alone.

(There is other evidence suggesting that, rather than the H.A.A.R.P. or a similar device, an underwater nuclear bomb was detonated that day...)

The Fukushima disaster occurred on March 11, 2011, on the very same day that Uranus moved from the last degree of the zodiac (29 Pisces) to the first degree of the zodiac (0 Aries).

Uranus (sudden events, shocks, uranium) + Pisces (ocean, energetic connection of life, end of era/cycle) + Aries (attacks, war, new cycle).

As Uranus entered Aries March 11, 2011, it moved into position for a seven-square series to Pluto in Capricorn (running June 2012 to March 2015) - a square series we last saw during the Great Depression and the lead-up to World War II when Uranus was transiting Aries and Pluto was transiting Cancer (1932 - 1934).

History was about to repeat, Aquarian era depopulation-style.

As soon as I saw the astrology, I knew.

See, naturally-occurring events don't happen that pat. They don't happen that precisely. They rarely follow the astrological symbology to a tee like that - at least, not on that large a scale.

Stationing Mercury Conjunct Uranus in Aries on the One-Year Anniversary of Fukushima and a Retrograde Over the Zero Aries/29 Pisces Point

Today is the one-year anniversary of the Fukushima, Japan nuclear disaster - a disaster that is ongoing just as the industry, government, and media cover-ups of it are ongoing.

It's as difficult today to extract any real information or context as it was a year ago, though a picture is slowly forming.

Eighty percent of the people tested who lived in the Fukushima area at the time of the initial radioactive releases have been found to have excessive levels of radioactive iodine in their thyroids - something that could have been mitigated or prevented had the Japanese government distributed potassium iodide to the residents and instructed them on its use immediately.

Documents released March 9 revealed that immediately following the disaster, the Japanese government feared it could be worse than Chernobyl. Because of the intentional lack of action from a government that "didn't want to create panic in the population," hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people may now face a shortened lifespan with increased incidences of radiation-related health problems, including cancer. Two hundred eighty thousand people lived in the city of Fukushima at the time of the disaster with many more in the surrounding areas, including 100,000 people evacuated from the 20-kilometre no-go zone surrounding the reactors.

One year in, official-level denial continues to run rampant. According to an article by Yuri Kageyama, the health adviser for Fukushima prefecture, Shunichi Yamashita, continues to insist exposure to 100 millisieverts of radiation per year will have no ill health effects on people. Before the disaster, the Japanese people were exposed to 1 millisievert of background radiation per year. Background exposure, of course, also does not address the ingestion of radioactive particles via food, water, or air.

You might remember Yamashita as the guy who whipped out the New Age memes to placate the citizenry, telling people, "The effects of radiation do not come to people that are happy and laughing. They come to people that are weak-spirited, that brood and fret." From June 14, 2011: The Law of Attraction Fukushima-Style

People are showing up in doctor's offices with unexplained rashes all over their bodies. Women's hair and teeth are falling out, and doctors are diagnosing them with autoimmune disorders.

These are the same types of diagnoses people received (and are likely still receiving) in the U.S. Gulf states after being poisoned with Corexit and oil following the Deepwater Horizon explosion in the Gulf of Mexico in April, 2010.

The position of communication planet Mercury in Aries at this time as well as its upcoming retrograde movement (March 12 - April 4) are highly significant.

The 9.0 earthquake that caused the damage to the nuclear reactors and the initial explosions (Uranus) was unleashed as Uranus moved from 29 Pisces to zero Aries - the symbolic end degree and beginning degree of the zodiac.

The washboard ripples of HAARP clouds were visible, blanketing the sky, soon after.

Now, on the one-year anniversary of the initial disastrous events, Mercury has just moved past the 29 Pisces/zero Aries point and is stationing retrograde at 6 degrees Aries conjunct Uranus and square Pluto in Capricorn. Due to the retrograde station, Mercury stays tightly locked in this conjunction to Uranus for three weeks, infusing the mental environment with the themes.

Mercury will retrograde back over the powerful and highly symbolic zero Aries/29 Pisces point March 22/23, making for a blisteringly potent Aries New Moon at 2 degrees conjunct Mercury and Uranus on March 22, following the spring equinox March 20.

Mercury will make its final pass over the 29 Pisces/zero Aries point direct on April 15/16, just after the Pluto retrograde station in Capricorn. It forms its final conjunction to Uranus in Aries April 22.

A poll conducted March 3-4, as Mercury (media, opinion, information, communication) initially moved over the 29 Pisces/zero Aries point, found 73% of Japanese people are worried, either greatly or somewhat, about health effects from the radioactive releases. A vast majority of those also believe the government is hiding information related to the disaster.

Also released during the Mercury-Uranus conjunction (on March 5) was data from the United States Environmental Protection Agency related to samples taken and tested recently from around California's Santa Susana Field Laboratory located between Chatworth and Simi Valley.

While run by U.S. aviation company Rocketdyne, a portion of that area called Area IV was used for the very early testing and development of nuclear reactors. Area IV was also the site of the country's first operational nuclear reactors, which ran from 1953 to 1980. The areas surrounding the site were radioactively contaminated throughout the years via various fires and the improper containment of radioactive materials. The largest radioactive release and contamination, however, came from a partial meltdown of a nuclear reactor in 1959.

Residents of the area, including children and former employees of the Laboratory, have suffered increased incidences of cancer for decades. Famously, the daughter of former resident Vince Neil, lead singer of the band Motley Crue, died of cancer at the age of 4 in 1995.

Of the 437 samples taken recently, 75 exceeded acceptable standards for radioactivity. More than 50 years after the meltdown, cesium-137 along with seven other radioactive isotopes were measured at levels between 100 to 1,000 times higher than the standards. Plutonium and strontium were also detected.

Residents, activists, and public officials have long fought for a clean-up of the area, now owned by Boeing, and this data proves what they have been saying all along.

The Rocketdyne site is just one more tip of a very large radioactive iceberg being drawn into the collective psyche via the current disaster in Fukushima. The extent of the radioactive contamination worldwide from nuclear testing, accidents at nuclear facilities past and present, and the use of depleted uranium munitions has been thus far sealed. But as we head to that potentially explosive Aries New Moon March 22 conjunct Mercury Rx and Uranus (uranium), the continued battle to get the information out has the potential to blow the lid right off.

There's an immediacy and a courage available to people here - the kind brought on when facing down the extinction of our kind. The relevant information and broader context entering the scene at this time have the ability to draw people fully into their present moments, right to the most vital and cutting edge points in their lives at this time on this planet. The concept of time breaks down even further now and throughout the 2012-2015 Uranus-Pluto square series, and the obsession (Pluto) with stock portfolios, RRSPs, what the banks are going to do next (Capricorn) can be understood in a different light - in the light of a Uranian lightning-strike - as long as people have the courage to look and then act on what they see.

Canada's Uranus-Sun in Cancer in T-Square Lock Down within the Uranus-Pluto Square Series

Uranus is picking up steam in Aries, and the global scenario is taut to say the least as it closes in on its first exact square to Pluto.

The first of the seven exact squares between Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn occurs June 24, 2012 and locks the Cancer Sun-Uranus conjunction in Canada's official (corporate) chart into an exact cardinal t-square at 8 degrees of the signs. Uranus will station retrograde at 8 degrees Aries July 13 exactly square the Sun-Uranus in Cancer in Canada's chart, and the cardinal t-square lock down remains strongly in effect through June, July, and August of 2012.

To say Canadians can expect a highly-charged, potentially fractious summer of 2012 would be an understatement. More unnatural disasters, manipulation of weather and crops, globally-integrated war/police state activity, and the fallout from those things are themes, based on cardinal t-square and Grand Cross formations in the past two years.

After two years of weather-manipulated flooding of the Canadian breadbasket, we can expect dry conditions and areas of drought after a surreal winter of record-breaking high temperatures and little snowfall.

The second exact Uranus-Pluto square at 6 degrees follows soon after the first on September 18, 2012, not allowing a reprieve from the tension. The remaining squares (into March 2015) all fall within range of the Canadian Sun-Uranus in Cancer, and we can be certain the government (Capricorn) and military (Aries) of the fair Kanata - a country rich in oil and uranium - will play primary roles in the global proceedings.

From May 8, 2011: "Canada's benign, peacekeeper image, so strategically useful on the world stage, is in the process of being stripped bit-by-bit by a Pluto in Capricorn opposition to its Cancer Sun. Squared by transiting Uranus in Aries, the shocking extent of Canada's role within the global war machine emerges as the facade is stripped. The fundamental understanding of Canada's identity on the world stage - past, present and future - shifts rapidly and repeatedly over the next four years."

Just as the cardinal t-square formation becomes exact (making for one hell of a Canada Day July 1), the Venus Transit in Gemini occurs June 5 exactly conjunct Canada's natal Venus in Gemini at 15 degrees. The Venus Transit - an eclipse of the Sun by Venus - indicates a major relational backdrop change, so suffice it to say Canada's Venus return marks a dramatic re-orientation within its global relations. Canada's dual identity - always in existence, not often prominent - becomes undeniable.

The ambitious, strategizing, cunning twin that has mostly stayed in the background, behind the glad-handing, people-pleasing diplomat, comes screaming to the forefront as the stage continues to be set and booby trapped for more global war. Slick manipulation of media and the slippery shifting of perspectives (Gemini) become primary aces in the hole for the elitist interests holding the people of this country - and the world - hostage.

On the weekend of March 3-4, with Mercury (media) conjunct Uranus in Aries, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper welcomed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Ottawa, exerting himself through the mainstream media as a "staunch ally" of the Israeli regime. This was a strategic verbal (Mercury) act of aggression (Aries) - toward the ghettoized and brutalized Palestinians as much as the Iranians - and, with its connection to Uranus, there will be many more of its kind.

The lean, mean, Global Governing machine is utilizing mainstream media coverage and strategic meetings of its members in the ongoing attempt to create public consent for the bombing of Iran, supposedly over Iran's move to make nuclear weapons under the guise of a nuclear energy programme.

In reality, neighbouring Iraq was bombed into submission during the eight-year Uranus in Pisces cycle using a fake connection to the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center bombings and false reports of Sadaam's weapons of mass destruction. Now, Uranus in Aries heralds the next phase of violent domination of that oil-rich area to secure monied interests.

The Sun in Capricorn Square Uranus on Zero Aries at Winter Solstice: New Targets and Stategic Moves Within Fourth Reich Power Structures

The Sun entered Capricorn very late on December 21, and today we experience winter solstice in the northern hemisphere. Darkness breaks, and the daylight hours start to get longer from here on out.

The points of equinox and solstice, sometimes referred to as the cardinal points, are very potent in tropical astrology. They mark quarterly points each year of new direction, new manoeuvres, new leadership emerging. Points of movement.

This particular winter solstice marks an even more potent time frame than usual as the Sun at zero Capricorn squares Uranus at zero Aries (4:14 p.m. Central). As stated in a previous post (Uranus Direct on Zero Aries and More Astrologically-Timed Machinations of the Global War Machine), Uranus has just stationed direct on the highly potent and highly symbolic first degree of the zodiac, zero Aries.

As we are now fully engaged within the astrological Aquarian era, the placement of Aquarius' ruling planet on the birth point of the zodiac is a prime time for unrolling "new" direction, especially militarily. Uranus moves off the zero Aries point January 7, 2012 and will not be back there again for about 83 years. The time is ripe, and those advancing global fascism/totalitarianism are well aware of that fact.

The Sun in Capricorn squaring Uranus on zero Aries makes this a solstice of immense power and potentially long-lasting effect. Any time a planet in Capricorn squares Uranus in Aries over the next seven years, the energy and associated events of the Uranus-Pluto square series, unfolding exactly between 2012 and 2015, are brought into play.

The action on the zero degrees of Aries and Capricorn at this winter solstice, in particular, indicates a three-month period of lightning-fast power plays and positioning with an eye toward longer-term goals: locked-down control of the people as well as another devastating and depopulating world war being a couple of them.

Make no mistake. It might appear that things are spontaneously shifting within the global hierarchies of power, but the (bloody) manoeuvres bringing about the shifts are all well-choreographed. These are the same power structures that have existed all along, with the same types of figureheads (Sun in Capricorn).

With the clashing square to Uranus in Aries indicating the energy and impetus of the new astrological era, however, all involved are aware that things have to shift in certain ways if the pyramid scheme power structures and Old Establishment are to survive. The cast of characters is being shuffled, and new blood is drawn into the mix. Again, those in positions of stolen power are attempting to replay, step-by-Capricornian-step, a very nasty historical cycle. It behooves the citizens of this planet to understand that, speak out about that, and refuse participation wherever possible.

Under the National Defense Authorization Act, approved by U.S. Senate December 1, prolonged detention without charge, legislated by the Obama government previously to be used against "foreigners," is now being implemented at home. This means the rules that applied to the rest of the world now apply to U.S. citizens, as well, and citizens can be detained indefinitely without charge.

Under Baby Bush, the CIA was given the power to assassinate U.S. citizens without charge, trial, or due process in "foreign countries."

Now, under Obama, the power to assassinate its citizens is being extended to within the United States. All that is required is a certainty on the part of the President (and the President only) that the individual is a "terrorist" and a threat to the country.

There should be outrage here, but where was the outrage when it was being implemented against "the foreigners?"

In Cancer Sun U.S. of A., too often, as long as it doesn't affect me and mine, all is right in the world. People, en masse, still aren't able to grasp, or refuse to grasp, that what happens to one group of people, no matter how poor, how weak, how brown or black the skin, happens to everyone. It affects everyone. At the closing of the astrological Piscean era, the fact that this is not a working principle in every individual's life, values, and decision-making process is an absolute failure.

North America is being put under lock and key. In Canada, our sovereignty as a country is being erased without the people's consent along with our borders. Global Governors extraordinaire Harper and Obama are going "Beyond the Border," working out the final details in a deal creating a tightly integrated U.S.-Canada border where things will be carried out under a new rule book. In effect, our country's borders will operate on a lock-down ordered by the United States under "globalized" rules where the U.S. military has as much power as (more than) Canada's own.

In "cases of emergency," we can expect to be swarmed by the United States military as they put things "back to order."

Information about citizens and visitors to Canada will be gathered at the border and freely shared with U.S. officials.

The proposed integrated border comes through a deal titled: "Beyond the Border: A Shared Vision for Perimeter Security and Competitiveness."

This is another step in the "Security and Prosperity Partnership" unrolled under Baby Bush, and the same "integrated" border, under U.S. control, is being moved toward with Mexico in a deal called "New Border Vision."

In effect, the rights-stomping rules currently being slipped by the people of the United States can be applied, in cases of "emergency," in Canada and Mexico.

The potency of this winter solstice is increased further by a New Moon in Capricorn conjunct Pluto December 24. Quite literally, this is an old layer of hierarchical establishment power going dark and a new one beginning to emerge. The manoeuvres making this a reality should become clearly visible as the Sun in Capricorn moves to an exact conjunction to Pluto December 28/29.

This Capricorn New Moon conjunct Pluto indicates a new face of power, a new layer coming to the forefront. This is a new face for both illegitimate hierarchical power using force, fear, money, and coercion and natural and legitimate forms of leadership and power-sharing. Both forms carry forward into this new astrological era.

Uranus Direct on Zero Aries and More Astrologically-Timed Machinations of the Global War Machine

If all else fails, keep your eye on the punk rock cacti.
Photo: Willow

In the ten days since Uranus went direct on zero Aries - the highly symbolic first degree of the zodiac – we’ve had word of two highly-charged, “era-shifting” events: the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong Il and the withdrawal of United States’ armed forces from Iraq.

Is the timing of these events coincidental? Not a chance.

And are they ushering in a new era? Not a chance. What they are doing is re-directing toward new targets and positioning a new cast of characters within the same old schemes.

From December 6, 2011: Uranus Direct on Zero Aries (Fukushima Degree) at the Gemini Full Moon Eclipse

“So we have a total lunar eclipse in Gemini, precursor to the Venus Transit in Gemini in June 2012, just as Uranus moves direct on the first degree of the zodiac. You see the "gateway" symbolism.

This Gemini eclipse is a dividing point, a separation into two, as we officially move forward (again) at the threshold of the new astrological era. It's a divergence point, the divergence point - a shaking to the core and rapid, eclipse-initiated backdrop change between ages that deepens dramatically this spring.

Can we expect the deadly "symbolic events" to start unfolding like clockwork via Global Governors following their orders? I'm sure it's on the docket.”

It was.

You’ll recall that the invasion of Iraq under Baby Bush was scheduled for March equinox 2003, just as Uranus ingressed Pisces. In the tropical zodiac, March equinox is marked by the Sun entering Aries. This is the point where Uranus, planetary ruler of the astrological Aquarian era, currently sits. March equinox is a highly potent time, a birth point for new directions, new actions, and new strategic moves, of particular use to those of the Arien/war persuasion. Uranus entering a new sign at the time of the 2003 equinox indicated to U.S. military strategists a prime time to unleash the “shock and awe” - Uranian key words - on the people of Iraq.

Again true to astrological timing, the attack against Libya was scheduled for March equinox 2011, just as Uranus ingressed Aries and positioned itself for a series of seven squares to Pluto in Capricorn. The last time Uranus was in Aries, it also formed a series of squares to Pluto, then in Cancer. That series of squares (1932-1934) coincided with the first years of the Great Depression as well as the advance of global fascism and the positioning of Hitler within the German Nazi Party.

From March 20, 2011: The Sun Conjunct Uranus at the Zodiac Birth Point Marking Astrological New Year and the “Odyssey Begins”

“The people of Libya are now being "kept safe" from yet another villainous bad guy as Cancer Sun nation U.S. of A. rains missiles down upon them in a military operation named Operation Odyssey Dawn. Yesterday, 120 Tomahawk missiles were fired at Libya by United States, British and French military. Italy and Spain are allowing the use of their air force bases for the launching of the attacks. This marks the largest military attack against an Arab country since the invasion of Iraq in 2003, which gained public support through bogus claims that Sadaam Hussein held weapons of mass destruction after the bombing of the World Trade Centers in New York City September 11, 2001.

The invasion of Iraq happened exactly eight years ago (March 20, 2003) just after Uranus ingressed Pisces (March 10, 2003). Still don't think astrology is being used in these war agendas?

Uranus Direct on Zero Aries (The Fukushima Degree) at the Gemini Full Moon Eclipse

See these punk rock cacti? With Uranus direct in Aries, this is your power symbol. Let your spikes show.

Gemini Full Moon total lunar eclipse (18 degrees) - December 10 at 8:36 a.m. Central.

The Gemini Full Moon on December 9/10 is a total lunar eclipse that falls less than three degrees from the point of this upcoming spring's Venus Transit. This eclipse, conjunct the nodal axis, triggers a sort of cosmic shakedown landslide, even if only internally. Things start to come unhinged here, leading into an ongoing reorganization process that carries us into late summer 2012.

The Venus Transit is an eclipse of the Sun by Venus during which we are able to observe Venus passing across the surface of the Sun as it orbits between the Sun and Earth. Astrologically, this event will be marked by a conjunction of the Sun and Venus retrograde at 15 degrees Gemini on June 5, 2012.

Venus Transits occur in pairs in the same sign, eight years apart (one Venus cycle), and they do not happen often. The last Venus Transit - the pair to this one - occurred June 8, 2004. The most recent Venus Transits prior to the 2004/2012 set occurred December 1874/1882 in Sagittarius. The next set will occur in December 2117 and 2125, also in Sagittarius.

Suffice it to say, it's a noteworthy event during our stay on planet Earth.

Uranus stations direct on zero Aries - the birth point of the zodiac - in the early morning of December 10 (1:04 a.m. Central) just as the Moon, visible to us, is reaching peak fullness in Gemini.

Uranus in Aries now moves direct into the first of seven exact squares to Pluto in Capricorn June 24, 2012.

Gemini and Mercury as Symbols That Things Are Not Exactly As They Appear

Gemini is the mutable air sign symbolized by the twins. It's a sign of dual meaning and dual, or even multiple, realities. Ruled by winged messenger planet Mercury, Gemini gathers and deposits information - the messages - in an almost constant stream of words, ideas, and non-verbal communication traveling in and out. Gemini has to keep the flow going, passing received information along and making new connections, or risk getting bogged down, something it can't stand for long. Gemini is characterized as light, changeable, social, communicative, ever-networking, ever-connecting, ever-adapting, ever-juggling, ever-moving.

Gemini's glyph is the Roman numeral II, which also represents two pillars. Back in the day, statues of twins were used to guard gates, doorways, and entrances. They still are.

Gates, doorways, and entrances, you say.

A version of Mercury called The Golden Boy stands atop the legislative building in the city where I currently live. This reflects the dual purpose of the building and of the activities that go on within it. The legislative building is full of masonic symbolism. They even do guided tours pointing it out, declaring that the purpose of it all is to elevate humankind. (Where have I heard that before?) On the outside of the building is a statue of the "Indolent Man," with a half-kneeling woman, the spirit of progress, beckoning him into the new land of promise. A common theme. All those opposed to their version of progress fall into the indolent (unenlightened, unaware, asleep, dense, lower, 3D) category, including all those ever-so-indolent native Canadians forced off their land for the sake of this "new land of promise." These indolents just don't know what's good for them, do they?

The legislative building is considered the masonic headquarters for the province and was built using the their own special brand of numerological measurement. It contains a Grand Staircase room measuring 66.6 feet on every side (666). That's one staircase I don't believe I'll be ascending (descending?). Gemini is associated with the number 3, but I won't give you the "33rd degree" if you didn't know that.

The Hoover Dam is another place chock full of masonic symbolism, particularly of the Geminian/Mercurial variety. This includes twin 30-foot bronze statues of winged figures named the Winged Figures of the Republic as well as two sets of twin obelisks/pillars . There's also a star map of the sky on the day the dam was dedicated (so the extraterrestrials will know when it was completed), as well as representations of the 12 signs of the zodiac and the Pleiades, particularly the fixed star Alcyone, the central star of the Pleiades cluster. The Pleiades and Alcyone are considered unfortunate influences. At the time the dam was built (1931 - 1936), the Pleiades was located on the anaretic degree of Taurus, which represents the master builder. As of 2011, the Pleiades, including Alcyone, is at zero Gemini.

The dam is located between the U.S. states Arizona and Nevada and was built to generate power. It was also built as a massive symbol. The very existence of the dam acts as a messenger, a symbol of man's (supposed) building genius and elevation of himself above nature - another common masonic theme. (All expanses of nature in the city where I'm living have been wiped out or overdeveloped - the stamp of the egocentric male mason, I'm thinking.)

In the case of the Hoover Dam, it is the harnessing and controlling of water - the Colorado River - for man's own purposes, earning entrance for the elevated ones into the Age of the Water-bearer. (There. We did it. Now we get to "level up!")

The construction of the dam took place between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression (providing cheap, desperate labour), which was also, as you might recall, the time frame of the last Uranus-Pluto square series in Aries and Cancer respectively.

Oh, what a glorious wonder of the Earth! Built on the blood of 112 men and the shortened lives of hundreds more due to horrific working conditions. But what's a little collateral human damage when the elevation of the chosen ones is the end result?

There are those who glory about the majesty and wonder of the pyramids, and there are those who would not fall for a sham built on slave labour and human lives.

So we have a total lunar eclipse in Gemini, precursor to the Venus Transit in Gemini in June 2012, just as Uranus moves direct on the first degree of the zodiac.

I'm sure it's on the docket.

Uranus Direct at Zero Aries - the Degree of the Fukushima Nuclear Disaster

The last time Uranus was on this exact point was March 22, 2011. That was 11 days after a HAARP-induced earthquake directed at Japan created mass death, destruction, and ongoing nuclear disaster. As Uranus last moved over this place in the zodiac, we were 11 days into the nightmare unfolding (still unfolding) at Fukushima, just starting to wrap our minds around the magnitude of it. Due to almost complete media black-out - and superficial coverage when there is any - we are not all that much closer to understanding the full extent of what we're dealing with this time around.

The real messenger has been muzzled. Proxies have been put in place to fill minds with information devoid of meaning, immediacy, or context. We have a nuclear disaster on our hands the scope of which has never been seen on this planet. Cellular structures are being altered without our permission.

Nuclear fuel has melted through the containments at three nuclear reactors, creating an ongoing release of radioactive materials into the air, soil, and water. Into the bodies of the Japanese people and into bodies of people throughout the northern hemisphere.

A Japanese television host who ate fish and produce from the Fukushima area on air to prove it was safe has now been diagnosed with acute lymphatic leukemia. A media figure getting sick gets some press. The others didn't and won't.

And all this perfectly timed for some bizarre, Global Governor-implemented shift into their version of green energy...

As videos of sick, irradiated, disfigured children from the aftermath of the 1986 Chernobyl disaster are brought to the viewing public, we're reminded that Fukushima is far from the only nuclear disaster we're living through on this planet. Mothers in Fallujah, Iraq have now been told by doctors to stop having babies due to the overwhelming number of birth defects and deformities related to radioactivity from U.S. depleted uranium munitions.

And people really think it matters a good Goddamn if their kid gets into that oh-so-prestigious pre-school? If their birthday parties have the best bouncy castles in the neighbourhood? If they get that ever-coveted seventh trip to Disney World?

People are living their personal lives almost entirely without context.

The media supports and reinforces this.

My local newspaper just ran an editorial stating that nuclear energy is still our best option. No update of the ongoing situation in Japan. This can be expected in the country that is the second-largest producer of uranium on the planet. Anti-nuke sentiments are bad for business.

This Gemini eclipse marks the beginning of a huge split. It's not even a split. It's a shattering of the Piscean "oneness" trying everything in its power to keep us one easily controllable 99% mass into billions of sharp-edged, never-say-die, middle-finger-raising pieces.

And don't let anyone tell you at whom or at what to direct that middle finger. That's to be determined by you and you alone.

This eclipse-initiated divergence relates to broad, big picture stuff - the direction we take on this planet from here on out - but our smart, precise, crystal clear self-direction leads the way. This Full Moon eclipse (Gemini Moon opposite Sagittarius Sun) forms a mutable t-square with Mars in Virgo, well into its retrograde shadow. The mutable t-square is repeated June 4, 2012 with a Sagittarius Full Moon (Sagittarius Moon opposite Gemini Sun) partial lunar eclipse opposing the Sun-Venus in Gemini and squaring post-retrograde Mars in Virgo one day prior to the Venus Transit. The Venus Transit conjunction in Gemini June 5, 2012 also, of course, falls within tight square to Mars in Virgo.

Any intellectual laziness that has kept people drifting along in a Piscean era sea of memes, idioms, mantras, and soft-lit, wishful-thinking partial truths needs to be sharpened quickly, or it will come back to haunt as only Pisces can.

As Uranus pulls out of its direct station on the freshest degree there is, don't mince words. If ever there were a time frame on this planet when how you really feel, what you really think, and what you really believe needed to be the impelling force, this is that time frame. Anything done to diminish one's effect, to quiet one's voice, to fit in with the crowd is now pretty close to meaningless. Understanding this ahead of the pack puts you at the leading and most relevant edge. Uranus in Aries doesn't care about being socially acceptable or "normal." It doesn't care about polite dinner party conversation. Uranus is looking to push us way out there into our most real, raw, radical, and instinctual selves. It demands freedom, independence, and individuation at almost any cost, and at this point, crystallized, outdated social mores and concepts of normality are just begging for Uranian lightning strikes.

We're about to experience a complete reorganization under the Aquarian classification system.

Things are being busted up into full-on Aquarian diversity, and that isn't as warm and fuzzy, love and lighty as it perhaps sounds. Things are about to get a little raw and a little weird - or rather, more so.

Don't be surprised if who people are under the Aquarian umbrella is not who they were under the Piscean. Don't be surprised if people you've known forever suddenly seem like strangers. From a previous post: "As we move forward from here, people we thought we knew are going to surprise us - in pleasant ways and in not so pleasant - and radical relationship breaks can come almost out of nowhere, especially if people have been putting things off."

Like the flick of a switch, our meaning and context, the particular layers of ourselves at the forefront, shift.

For those who have been clinging to old forms and ideals, attempting to re-create the same old scenes with a slightly different colour palate, things could take the harsher Uranian track - shocking, stunning, jarring, emotionally traumatizing.

For those who have been moving with the show from the get-go, this transition will probably be refreshing. We're about to get some movement. If you're ready, here we go.

Venus Lightens the Tone in Sagittarius and Trines Uranus Rx in Aries, Colouring the Last Leg of Saturn in Libra

Mercury and Venus, still travelling conjunct, move into Sagittarius together on November 2, and almost immediately, the dense, complex Scorpionic tone we've been experiencing starts to lighten.

Both Mercury and Venus in Sagittarius trine Uranus Rx in Aries during the morning of November 3. We're palpably at the cutting edge here, moving into a fresh and freaky astrological Aquarian era future after Scorpionically severing ties to any Piscean era backsliding.

Intellectually (Mercury) as well as in our relations with other people (Venus), we're there. The knowledge of where we're going and of where we've been adjusts our orientations to the new coordinates accordingly. Though, with Mercury in Sagittarius in the mix in the sign of its detriment along with a Mercury retrograde in Sadge November 24 - December 13, trying to communicate what we're going through won't necessarily be easy.

Also November 3, Saturn enters its upcoming retrograde shadow (the degrees it will move back over during its February 6 - June 23, 2012 retrograde) at 22 degrees Libra. Saturn will station retrograde on the anaretic (29th) degree in February.

Just like that, we're more than two-thirds finished Saturn's transit through Libra.

The last leg of the transit of Saturn through Libra is strongly influenced by the Venus in Sagittarius trine to Uranus Rx in Aries. This continues a theme of relationship disruption as sometimes shocking elements of personal identity, new direction, beliefs, and philosophy emerge as we shift further into astrological Aquarius. As we move forward from here, people we thought we knew are going to surprise us - in pleasant ways and in not so pleasant - and radical relationship breaks can come almost out of nowhere, especially if people have been putting things off.

Saturn is looking to shore up only long-term, sustaining, and sustainable partnership material - partnerships with legs - while Uranus is looking to push us way out there into our most real, raw, radical, and instinctual selves. The conservative, step-by-step building nature of Saturn will necessarily have to leave room in its blueprints for the wild Uranian effects busting things loose and demanding freedom, independence, and individuation at almost any cost.

Being ourselves, our whole selves, right down to the last jagged edge is necessary for survival, for direction, for perspective and orientation now, but there are mercilessly rough, disturbing, even violent and heartless elements to the way Uranus works through our relationships. All those with Venus-Uranus contacts natally or by transit can relate. The fact that this is a Venus-Uranus trine softens the edges and makes things less traumatic, allowing us to philosophically rise above, but the disruption is there. Some relationships survive this emergence of raw, new identity and direction, and some don't. Kind of exciting, though, isn't it?

The Cardinal Grand Cross U.S. Independence Day Sets the Stage

We're having a mini-breather right now as the Sun moves out of Cardinal Grand Cross formation just as Venus, newly in Cancer, heads in (July 7-13). We also have a multitude of very nice trines just becoming exact to further ease the astro climate. Venus in Cancer was trine Neptune in Pisces at around noon today Central.

Mercury in Leo trines Uranus in Aries tonight at 7:47 p.m.

Mars in Gemini trines Saturn in Libra July 6, and Jupiter in Taurus trines Pluto in Capricorn July 7.

Venus moving further into Cancer means things will start heating up again mid-week as we become aware yet again of the extent of our constriction under these conditions.

Venus enters the first aspect of the Cardinal Grand Cross Thursday, July 7 at 4:44 p.m. Central, and it's quite potent: Venus in Cancer square stopped-in-the-zodiac Uranus in Aries, just about to turn retrograde July 9. This Venus-Uranus square has the potential to be emotionally raw, feisty, and unstable with squabbles and tempers kicked up seemingly out of nowhere - all depending on how far people really are from exerting themselves authentically and following their own impulses, rather than subverting those things to maintain emotional comfort, familiarity, and status quo.

The blazing individuality of each member of the nuclear family is busting out of the pre-set roles into all its technicolour egalitarian Aquarian-era detail, and the newly emerging facets of identity could prove shocking and anger-inducing, especially as the supportive feminine energy (Cancer) says it's had enough.

The fiery Uranus in Aries impetus applied to our most sensitive emotional relationships then spreads and stokes the Plutonic fires as Venus moves into opposition with Pluto in Capricorn July 8 (7:31 p.m.). Old relationship roles, especially for mothers/the nurturing version of the feminine, and old versions of self within relationship are being necessarily morphed out of. Though this is a point of survival (ie. we have to go), with Venus in Cancer, most people will find it uncomfortable. Go slowly. No rushing ahead trying to head off the discomfort or you will be left with even more sticky, emotional detritus to wade through.

Venus entering the Cardinal Grand Cross fray turns the heat up in our personal relationships, especially as they tie in to money. We have a pressurized underlying emotional tone set to "short-term and long-term survival," and everyone being spurred into new, more potently individualistic territory can create some big clashes as we diverge from those with whom we were once compatible.

Venus' final aspect within Grand Cross formation is a square to Saturn in Libra July 13 at 2:35 a.m., and we are challenged to work within the reality of our relationship constructs, including business relationships. Some need to shift. And if they are too stuck and cemented to shift, some need to be discontinued altogether.

Transiting Venus in Cancer conjuncts the United States' Venus-Jupiter in Cancer this week as it squares stationing Uranus in Aries, marking the nation's Venus Return. The U.S. is also experiencing its Saturn Return (in Libra), and a new "foreign relations" cycle is beginning at this time. Unfortunately, the path that has been set out involves more of the same - a lot of bombs and dead people.

The U.S. corpo-government doesn't just shake hands when it meets you - it crushes every bone in your hand.

As of United States Independence Day today, it is bombing six different countries: Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Yemen, and Somalia.

The boundaries of its 'manifest destiny' as supreme dominator continue to spread.

Back in the day, the 'higher ups' had supposedly given the green light on plundering, pillaging, and forcefully controlling the continent. Now, it's the entire planet. From Senator H.V. Johnson around 1845:

"I believe we should be recreant to our noble mission, if we refused acquiescence in the high purposes of a wise Providence. War has its evils. In all ages it has been the minister of wholesale death and appalling desolation; but however inscrutable to us, it has also been made, by the Allwise Dispenser of events, the instrumentality of accomplishing the great end of human elevation and human happiness. It is in this view that I subscribe to the doctrine of "manifest destiny.""

The correlations to New Age doctrine, first rising to prominence in the last decades of the 1800s, are striking. The necessary sacrifice of the lower vibrating, unenlightened and unawakened so that (a select few) human beings can reach "higher consciousness," "enlightenment," "the fifth dimension," "the New Earth," "a new reality," etc. The spiritual arm and political arm work in lock-step toward the same ends.

The strategic set-up to make this global 'manifest destiny' a reality (not just for members of the United States, but for "Global Governance" as a whole) has been put in place. The stage has been set for the unfolding of the seven exact squares of Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn between June 2012 and March 2015.

You may recall that Obama has stealthily deployed U.S. Special Forces to 75 countries around the world, most as eyes were turned to the disaster going on in the Gulf of Mexico in the spring of 2010.

Canada has just extended its military mission in Libya by three months.

With Uranus in Aries as wild card, the power of people finally saying "fuck it" and getting up off their knees continues to disrupt and dislodge the carefully laid plans...

The United States has also reached its $14 trillion+ debt ceiling and is bombing people on maxed out credit cards (Pluto in Capricorn), begging for more credit to continue the devastation by August 2. This follows in the economic wisdom of the day: if you can't afford to do something you want to do, just get a higher limit on your MasterCard.

The United States of America is a Chiron in Aries nation opposite Saturn in Libra. This indicates that the version of the United States that came into existence in 1776 - again, the highly corporate version - has felt insignificant and slighted on the world stage, possibly because of its relative youth and inexperience. This version of the United States, with that gnawing wound in Aries opposite the old school Saturnine establishment, has never felt as if it were truly taken seriously, and because of this, felt the need to exert its identity and importance again and again through excessive might.

Many times, despite ridiculously superiour weaponry, it lost. All those losses to guerrilla warfare, the survival of movements it tried everything in its power to suppress and destroy, the humiliations played out as the world watched with (real or imagined) countries snickering behind its back, are embedded in this Chiron wound.

The United States, as the major nuclear weapons holder in the world (Uranus/Pluto, uranium/plutonium), will be on the guns a-blazing war path as Uranus irritates this wound throughout the Uranus-Pluto square series and beyond.

Uranus is heading to an exact conjunction to the U.S. Chiron at 20 degrees Aries, making its first pass June 24, 2015.

Uranus will be just past the final exact square to Pluto in Capricorn at that point, culminating in this conjunction to the U.S. Chiron in Aries, and will station retrograde on this point July 25, 2015.

This is an attempt at Chirotic redemption through war, aggression, and violence - so, of course, it won't work.

Outing the underlying understanding of "manifest destiny" in the collective unconscious of this nation and others, along with the idea of the inevitability of war to support higher quality of living, plays a big role in discontinuing the coerced acceptance of never ending war on this planet, being driven in a big way by the United States on this July 4, 2011.

Last in the Series: Lucky 13 Aries New Moon Amidst a Huge Aries Stellium and a Mars-Uranus Conjunction

Mars heads over an oh-so symbolic area today and tomorrow, passing through the last degree of the zodiac (29 Pisces) before entering the first degree (0 Aries) at 11:51 p.m. Central April 1 and moving into conjunction with Uranus.

Mars shifts into its domicile, the sign it rules, just in time for the April 3 Aries New Moon. At that time, six planets will be in Aries, and they all get a super-charged boost forward from Mars in its own sign of unadulterated masculine will and outer expression. Things really start to move now for good or ill.

This area is a zodiac hot spot, to put it mildly. Recall that the earthquake and tsunami were triggered in Japan as Uranus transited the final minutes of 29 Pisces with the nuclear crisis unfolding as it ingressed Aries. This is prime "new paradigm emerging from old" energetic symbolism, and it is being used by those ramming (Aries) their particular global agenda through.

The "surprise" bombing of Libya was scheduled for the March 20, 2011 equinox as the Sun conjuncted Uranus newly in Aries - just as the invasion of Iraq was scheduled for this date after the Uranus ingress of Pisces exactly eight years prior (March 20, 2003). Uranus relates to the unpredictable - except when its energy and transits are being utilized to set off pre-planned global events.

(Fun facts: Libya has the largest known oil reserves in Africa. BP announced its plan to start drilling off Libya's coast in July of 2010, a matter of months after the Gulf disaster began. Archaeologists say BP's drilling has a strong possibility of destroying ancient lost city sites buried beneath the ocean off Libya's coast, as well as ancient city sites on land along the coast should there be an oil spill. This indicates, again, that the broader objectives involve more than just drilling for oil. The underwater sites, like the Gulf of Mexico, have potential "Atlantean" connections, which have also been tied to the Aryan race.)

This Mars-Uranus conjunction has some pretty potent recent history infused into it. The conjunction is exact April 3 just after the New Moon in Aries as we crack into new territory coming out of the entire series of 13th degree New Moons. Amidst a huge Aries stellium of the Sun, Moon, Mercury Rx, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus, this is viciously potent.

The Mars-Uranus conjunction brings the planet of war, aggression, will, drive and new directions together at the zodiac birth point with a planet associated with uranium and sudden, shocking events and upheaval. Unexpected nuclear attacks brought through the sea (29 Pisces). Unfortunately, we've entered a new cycle of illegal, imperialist warfare on this planet - one cyclically and symbolically linked to past attacks against humanity. Ancient wars create symbolic blueprints for current wars.

Please be careful over the next two weeks as we head to the Mars in Aries square to just-stationed-retrograde Pluto in Capricorn, exact April 11 at 3:41 p.m.

Mars is acted upon by both Uranus and Pluto between now and then, and this is unstable, aggressive energy often coming out of nowhere. When things get tense, choose the path of least competition/aggression in yourself. Watch for and avoid unexpected anger and aggressive moves from others, especially in men who are full-to-the-brim with the masculine/yang/testosterone-fuelled and are waiting for some event to boil their frustrations over. People are being pushed past their breaking points.

Accidents due to anger, recklessness or lack of due attention are probable under these astro conditions. Be socially responsible (Saturn in Libra) and diffuse what you can. Balance the social scales where you can. But when things get too hot, step out of the line of fire. Breathe. Disengage. When Pluto is involved, we have to be careful not to be pulled into the sticky, magnetic dramas that play on our trigger points. These are broad, collective energies and themes steamrolling forward with agendas of their own with a whole lot of energy driving into new frontiers.

There is definite differentiation and factioning going on on raw, fundamental levels as we shift into a strong Arien/Aquarian overlay - on personal, societal and global fronts. All is not well in the ranks as splintering agendas jockey for position and control. Old social contracts and alliances go up in Arien flames.

By the time Mars squares Pluto April 11, we should have more news about the possible release of plutonium (Pluto), the deadliest known substance on the planet and very difficult to detect, from Japanese reactors as well as the possible release of mixed oxide fuel (MOX), a combination of uranium and plutonium, from Fukushima reactor 3.

This Aries New Moon/Mars-Uranus conjunction is a symbol for the emergence into radically new personal territory, especially for women. If we've worked this series of New and Full Moons right, some exhausting and enmeshing tail-end Piscean era dynamics have been completed. Long-standing charges have been put to rest and we are emotionally borne into something new.

The emergence at this New Moon involves moving out of past social and emotional conditioning - "being nice" instead of being real, being socially popular instead of being true to who we really are - and drawing on a newly accessible emotional fire, strength and courage. To be successful moving forward, women, especially, will be taking charge of and taking responsibility for their own self-direction and masculine energy rather than sitting by and letting men do it for them. (That's turned out just great, hasn't it?) There is a special emphasis with all this Aries on anger impulses and using them as an impetus to action.

With the Sagittarius North Node disposited by Jupiter in Aries until June, our Aries muscles and instincts play a big role in the broader guiding philosophical force opening vast new arenas in our lives. These themes become huge May 1-15 as the Aries stellium trines the Sagittarius North Node. Be true to yourself come what may now in order to benefit fully from the movement indicated by those trines then.

The Moon crosses the same 29 Pisces/0 Aries hot spot early Saturday morning as it grows dark. The New Moon is exact at 13 degrees Aries April 3 at 9:32 a.m. It is the last in the series of six "thirteenth witch" New Moons at 13 degrees of the signs amidst a series of five anaretic degree Full Moons. I relate these New Moons to the emergence of hidden and denied feminine realities and influence, especially the denied realities of the thirteenth witch - the one who busts it wide open.

The first 13th degree New Moon was in Scorpio during the Venus in Scorpio retrograde, just after All Hallow's Eve. This infused the lunar series with the thirteenth witch vibe - from which we begin to emerge now. We complete the dynamics fully at the June 2012 Venus Transit in Gemini when that Venus retrograde discharges the themes of the fall 2010 Venus in Scorpio retro.

The idea of the thirteenth witch involves some witch's coven lore:

"From what I understand, covens could usually be sustained and kept cloaked and protected from the torch-wielding townsfolk up until the 12th member. But once the 13th member was added, there was a shift. The energy was unable to be contained at that point. Things dug a little too deep and triggered a little too much and became unmanageable. The bad blood would start to run, jealousy would rise, there would be political in-fighting and jockeying for power and position, dirty allegiances and back-stabbing. Basically, the coven members would start to get into some serious brass tacks - all the dormant poison would rise to the surface. It was as if a tipping point were reached with the 13th witch, and something would happen to bust up the coven, generally bringing it under fire from the mainstream society. Often, it was an angry member who had been screwed over and felt slighted who would rat the coven out.

Energetic violations and abuses that had long simmered beneath the surface were busted wide open and aired, brought to task, by the addition of the thirteenth witch."

The series of 13th degree New Moons has created openings for the inclusion and integration of hidden feminine realities that have long influenced our lives and the unfolding of events on the world stage. Keeping these things hidden and unaddressed has caused disruption, disturbance and devastation, and nothing can truly heal or change until they are brought into the fold. As always, these energies are wide open for co-opting and for being used to further the same-old, same-old. Tend them carefully in your own lives and selves.

We've had six months of potent lunar activity - don't let the supposed SuperMoon in Virgo at lunar perigee take all the credit. With the thirteenth witch themes, I would be looking much more strongly toward the influence of Black Moon Lilith at lunar apogee!

As I wrote about recently, the 2009 Venus retrograde in Aries themes are potent now and for the next six weeks as Jupiter and the personal planets in Aries oppose Saturn in Libra. A big theme during that retrograde was relationships that could no longer contain who we really were spontaneously combusting - even long-term ones. This New Moon happens conjunct Jupiter in Aries and opposite Saturn in Libra. If relationships and relationship dynamics didn't fully move into new territory at that time, expect things to pick up where they left off.

With the influence of the North Node in Sagittarius disposited by Jupiter in Aries opposite Saturn in Libra, people are figuring out what they really believe in relation to other people. This is going to mean they exit stage left from certain relationships, possibly in dramatic fashion, in a lot of cases. No harm, no foul in most cases. There isn't much arguing with this energy, and this has a freeing, energizing effect over the long run.

At the same time, new directions mean no longer taking the old directions, and that is starting to hit home emotionally in a big way as people say goodbye to a lot of what they identified themselves with previously, including relationships.

These themes continue as we head into another summer of big tensions, disturbances and necessary new leadership and directions with a full Cardinal Grand Cross configuration as well as a triple eclipse season. More on that later...

The Sun Conjunct Uranus at the Zodiac Birth Point Marking Astrological New Year and the "Odyssey Dawns"

Right on schedule.

The Sun is passing through the final degree of Pisces and enters Aries this evening at 6:21 p.m. Central marking Spring Equinox in the northern hemisphere and the astrological New Year.

This is not your average Spring Equinox or Astro New Year, either. The Sun is conjunct Uranus at zero Aries - the birth point for the entire zodiac. Uranus takes 84 years to make its way through the zodiac and spends an average of seven years in each of the signs. A Sun-Uranus conjunction exactly at zero degrees Aries has rare initiating potency, and we're experiencing it.

As I mentioned in a previous article, Uranus entering Aries means the astrological era-shifting mutual reception between Uranus in Pisces and Neptune in Aquarius has drawn to a close. The most intensely interwoven crossover period between Piscean and Aquarian eras is over, and we now tip the scales into a stronger Aquarian overlay.

The Odyssey Dawns, indeed.

The people of Libya are now being "kept safe" from yet another villainous bad guy as Cancer Sun nation U.S. of A. rains missiles down upon them in a military operation named Operation Odyssey Dawn.

The invasion of Iraq during Baby Bush's regime has left more than two million Iraquis dead along with thousands of U.S. soldiers. Five million Iraqui refugees are currently subsisting in absolutely dire circumstances. Five million children - thirty five percent of the country's children - have been orphaned, and parts of the country have been left irradiated through depleted uranium munitions. One of the worst humanitarian crises currently existing on this planet is the legacy of the 2003 equinox invasion. Operation Iraqi Freedom (ha) was renamed Operation New Dawn by the United States on September 1, 2010, reflecting the shift into burgeoning Aquarian Age language. We see this continue with the naming of the military operation against Libya - Odyssey Dawn.

Exactly eight years later, Uranus is freshly into position in the sign ruled by war planet Mars (March 11 ingress - coinciding with the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster in Japan) and moves into a series of seven squares (tense, clashing aspect) to Pluto in Capricorn over the next four years, in energetic effect for eight. What happens now, at this birth point, sets the tone for the next eight years with 2012-2015 involving the strongest activity, and you'd better believe the strategists behind the advance of a new era of global fascism are aware of this. The immediate plans working toward the longer-term goals were set last cardinal t-square infused summer, and they unfold now like clockwork.

Jupiter in Aries squaring Pluto in Capricorn in January coincided with massive protests from people in the Middle East (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Sudan) who are unemployed, hungry and increasingly pushed up against a wall by government policies. It was a massive call for change.

And according to plan, the Global Governors have ridden the energy of the people's revolt up to the crest and taken their places atop the corrupt hierarchies with a newly shuffled cast of characters.

Now in Libya, another "rogue nation" (coincidentally with the largest known oil reserves in Africa) is brought under control and into lock-step with the global agenda through U.S.-led military might. Canada is right there alongside as trusty sidekick, offering up its military - it no longer operates even under the guise of a sovereign nation.

The influence of the last degrees of Pisces indicate this is still motivated by the Piscean/oil era themes - capturing control of both physical and spiritual energy reserves. But there's more going on here than meets the eye. Our insight increases after the Sun crosses Uranus tomorrow morning (7:24 a.m. Central). The Moon enters Scorpio at 2:17 p.m. tomorrow, so dig deeply into your emotional intuition as the agenda and propaganda unfold...

Uranus in Aries Ushers in an Era of Unnatural Disaster

It's all so mish mashed and difficult to get a handle on while the Sun is in Pisces. With Mars in Pisces now too, it's as if we're moving under water, through one of those nightmares that pins you down under the weight of its sickly tentacles. Slowly, groggily. But as the Sun moves closer to its ingress of Aries (March 20 at 6:21 p.m. Central) and a conjunction to Uranus March 21, we will be jarred out of the Piscean nightmare grip and woken suddenly into something even more unimaginable.

Uranus is in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn. We are living through this.

As the Sun and then Mars (April 1) enter Aries, the fire burns the misty Piscean fog away and we will start to become fully aware of the shocking, horrifying, stunning magnitude of what is unfolding in Japan.

You think the Gulf of Mexico is bad? That was so last era. This is the Aquarian Age, baby. This one's going to push your survival skills and your levels of detachment to points so extreme you didn't know they even existed.

Like clockwork, it is. The earthquake and tsunami were triggered just as Uranus slid out of the final degree of Pisces, bringing yet more upheaval (Uranus) of the sea (Pisces). The meltdowns currently underway in six nuclear reactors coincide with Uranus (uranium) entering Aries March 11, moving into full square formation with Pluto (plutonium) in Capricorn and bringing us into the themes of the period that included the beginning of the Great Depression and the ramp-up to World War II.

The last time Uranus was in Aries it squared Pluto, then in Cancer, five times between 1932 and 1934, following the discovery of Pluto in our solar system in 1930. That discovery is associated with human beings gaining the ability to annihilate themselves and all life on this planet through atomic weaponry. World War II, of course, culminated in the United States dropping two atomic bombs on Japan - Little Boy on Hiroshima August 6, 1945 and Fat Man on Nagasaki August 9, 1945. Fat Man was made with plutonium (Pluto) and Little Boy uranium (Uranus).

Now, with the sick symbolic events we've all come to know and love, we have a variation on the theme - the worst nuclear disaster Japan has seen since the dropping of the bombs. A seismic weapon-created 9.0 earthquake and tsunami that have killed tens of thousands of people, causing hundreds of aftershocks, most of them significant earthquakes in and of themselves, with multiple nuclear reactors now spewing radiation into the atmosphere. Messing with the very fabric of matter.

As Uranus moves back into war planet-ruled Aries, there is little doubt in my mind that the unnatural disasters set off in Japan are an act of war. I'm a little different from your average cat, though, in that I don't believe there has been a time in recent history that humanity has not been under siege by the forces behind this horror. Things have always been this bad. Those who are up close and personal with Pluto or Scorpio can't deny it. Knowing it is actually our liberation.

The Precession of the Equinoxes, Shifting Astrological Eras and '2012'

I'd like to make it clear (as clear as possible with five planets in Pisces, which might be not very) that when I write about the Piscean and Aquarian eras, I'm talking about the precession of the equinoxes - the shift in placement of the Sun at March equinox from the sidereal (physical) constellation of Pisces into the sidereal constellation of Aquarius.

This physical shift in the Sun's placement relates to the end of the astrological Piscean era and the beginning of the Aquarian - a time frame we are currently living through. (Recall that the position of the bodies in the sidereal zodiac/physical constellations shift over time. They don't in the tropical zodiac.)

Uranus re-entering Aries March 11 marks the official end of the eight-year Uranus in Pisces - Neptune in Aquarius mutual reception. We've been experiencing this mutual reception since Uranus entered Pisces March 10, 2003, and it neatly winds up almost exactly eight years later on March 11, 2011.

I read this mutual reception as the most strongly interwoven crossover period between astrological eras, and it now draws to a close. The ingress of Uranus into the first sign of the zodiac (Aries) combined with the conclusion of the mutual reception makes this an important birth point as far as new cycles go - picking up on the seeds planted in the summer of 2010 with the cardinal t-squares.

We now start to experience a separation and shift into a stronger Aquarian overlay, tipping the scales out of astrological tail-end Pisces.

All this relates to a very basic astrological idea - that when the planets shift signs, we shift into the different energetic themes, overlays and events that correspond with that sign.

When the outer planets shift signs, it's broad, social/collective/global change that also affects us personally. Macro and micro are inter-related.

Within the span of three years (2008-2011), we will have experienced all the outer planets changing signs. Pluto ingressed Capricorn January 25, 2008, Uranus ingressed Aries (initially) May 27, 2010, and Neptune ingresses Pisces April 4, 2011. We also have Chiron newly in Pisces. Big, multi-layered shifts.

We'll be adopting and experiencing more Aquarian characteristics and themes in this new terrain, but there will still be a very strong Piscean flavour with Neptune in its domicile Pisces for 15 years and Chiron in Pisces for eight.

Neptune moves from Aquarius into Pisces April 4, 2011, retrograding into Aquarius and re-entering Pisces for good February 3, 2012.

There's no way to determine the exact date of the precession of the March equinox from sidereal Pisces to Aquarius. From the most commonly used astrological calculations of 2,160 years for each era, we have another 150 years of Pisces to go.

Again, we don't just sweep all the mess and unlearned Piscean lessons under the rug and move into Aquarius, as many seem to be preaching. There is also the idea these days that we are completing an entire cycle of precessions through the whole twelve-sign zodiac, which is just under 26,000 years. I haven't been able to completely prove this to myself as of yet, and it isn't my area of research, so I can't say one way or the other. What I do believe is that you can take almost any cross-section, analyze it and come up with similar findings: we're living through big times, big shifts and lots of changes, and you can see this from the micro-est micro to the macro-est macro.

What makes sense to me is the idea that the end of one astrological era and beginning of another is multi-layered. This has especially been the case during the Uranus-Neptune mutual reception, and this is why so many have been pouring the coal to it over the past eight years. We have been intensely challenged to complete and master certain aspects of the Piscean era, holding and applying that wisdom and understanding, while simultaneously anchoring and taking steps into the beginning of the Aquarian. These challenges continue.

We're in both eras simultaneously in a lot of ways, working to make the best transition we can. It's been bizarre, demanding, bumpy as hell and touch-and-go at times. These are some of the themes I navigate on this blog. I do believe we're in a time period of important tipping points and directional openings on this planet between the two astrological overlays. I think our personal choices and directions matter greatly and have vast ripple effects at this time. This is why I think it's so important to ensure that we're directing ourselves according to our own deep, personal knowledge and beliefs rather than being caught up unaware in movements that do not have the best interests of humanity at heart.

The end of the Mayan calendar or '2012' is not the same as the precession of the equinoxes, although there are people who correlate the two.

Using astrology certainly does not mean you accept the ideology that is being promoted around the date of December 21, 2012. I'm also not referring to the New Age version of the Age of Aquarius with the tie-in to One World Government, One World Religion, global unity consciousness, "all paths leading to God" (ha), the fifth dimension, or creating a new reality for the true believers.

I'm not talking your standard Fourth Reich New Age World Order, a global messiah, or a generation of messiah children who have come to save us by enlightening us and raising our vibrations and whatnot. (Keep your mitts off my vibration, please.)

I'm not talking about traveling up the enlightenment paradigm ladder to achieve the consciousness of the Ascended Masters, guided by our Higher Selves, a couple gurus in India and a bookshelf full of New Age 101 lit.

I'm talking in basic astrological terms.

The North Node is in Sagittarius now disposited by Jupiter in Aries. Getting clear on our personal beliefs (and maybe more importantly, on what we don't believe), speaking up about it when necessary and directing ourselves accordingly are the keys to our successful progress here. This is how we head off and disempower the nightmare dystopia attempting to close in.

As most people who read this blog are already aware, the "Universal Truths" of the New Age are not my truth. The words and advisements coming from their gurus and followers do not hold water with me. I hold no superiour, spiritual or otherwise, and this is the Aquarian era I would like to see for a free, healthy, unharassed and unfucked with humanity.

I won't be shy about it. I believe the New Age movement and its doctrine are the spiritual arm of fascism. I believe that the Third Reich was connected to New Age doctrine just as I believe the Fourth Reich Global Governors and those handing out their orders are currently. I think it's part of a plan I do not wish to see become a reality on this planet. And I think a lot of people are passing this stuff along without a full awareness of what it is, where it comes from and what it's ultimate goals are. This is why I'm such a hard ass when it comes to deconstructing the New Age movement and exposing its roots. I don't see it as harmless, feel-good stuff. I see it as a spiritual control mechanism parasitizing people and keeping them from their true personal spiritual potency - a potency we desperately need more of on this planet. People deserve better.

A couple posts I wrote on the subject in June when Uranus first dipped into Aries:

Jupiter Conjunct Uranus in Aries: the Fourth Reich is Still Vicious and the New Agers are Still Dumbasses. More Change Required.

Uranus in Aries and the Spiritual Supernova Point: Busting Out of the Structures that Will No Longer Contain Us

Unfortunately, astrology has come to be understood as synonymous with New Age ideology in the minds of many people, which includes the 2012 furor. A lot of people are actually embarrassed to admit they are interested in astrology due to the associations with New Age. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Astrology is not New Age. Astrology is not a belief system. It's a symbolic language describing cycles and themes that we can use as a navigational tool. That's not all it is, but that's it in a nutshell. If it works for you, use it. If it doesn't, don't. I really don't mind. But please know that astrology is alive and well outside the confines of the New Age.

Because so much astrology is insidiously merged with New Age doctrine, posts like this are necessary for differentiation. It's a continual effort. New Age doctrine is in the ethers in a lot of ways, forced to the saturation point, and with certain subjects, it tries to worm its way in. I watch my wording and try to change anything that might have a New Age tone or energy. I do my best, but this stuff is like sticky etheric honey laced with arsenic, oozing into every available opening. You just think you've rooted it out, and another tentacle finds its way in.

It's very conflicting as I see, in this new city in which I'm living, how present and how organized New Age is. Again. Just like in the last city I lived in. It's everywhere, really. It's impossible, at this point, not to come into contact with it. So I just do my own thing. It's a very fine line to walk, though, and it's not a comfortable one.

Chiron, May We Pass?

The Sun enters Pisces this evening (6:25 p.m. CT) and immediately conjuncts wounded healer asteroid Chiron, back in Pisces for its eight-year transit until March 2019.

Over the next five days, the Sun, Mercury and Mars move into Pisces and pass through this conjunction to Chiron, infusing us on a very personal level with the awareness of the totality of devastation and desecration of life that has gone on on this planet. Devastation and desecration we continue to see and experience to this day, beneath the Neptunian diversions and fog.

If you feel your head being pulled underwater this week, this is why. Keep treading.

This is what we could lightly call a "Man, the Piscean Era Has Been a Bummer" series of aspects. It's not going anywhere, either, despite those who believe we can simply trash this dimension and move onto the next...

Still, the astrological Piscean era has taken us to wonderful spiritual heights and to a deep awareness of our spiritual natures. It has taught us about the flow, the way, about the power of connection and shared effort, and about the depth of pain and suffering of humanity and all living things as our own.

Chiron sits on the opening gateway of the sign while Uranus sits on the final degree. Bookends. We hold a powerful spiritual vantage point as we tip the scales further into Aquarius, and these conjunctions to Chiron, kicking off Pisces season, provide us the tools we need to heal things on a very immediate personal level.

We're being infused as potent Chirotic healers. Shifting into Pisces for the Aquarian era. But as we wait to tip into a whole new energetic flavour with Uranus in Aries March 11, we're made all too aware of the things left unresolved and unhealed.

How many years does it take to heal something like the Gulf of Mexico? Or the destruction and irradiation of Iraq? The echoes back through time and space, the threads, the cyclical horror show events set on constant, multi-layered repeat?

How long does it take to clean our soil and water of chemtrail poisons? Or our bodies? How long does it take to restore our seed supply from the assault by genetically modified varieties?

How long to heal the hearts hurting for those sacrificed, generation after generation, by and for the privileged few? How long to heal the spiritual catatonia we have been pushed into, the overloaded circuits, the numbness? When it's so big that we can no longer really put it into words?

Is it years? Centuries? Millenia? More?

Does it ever heal or do we just keep swallowing it, choking it down, dissolving it? What happens when we're at the saturation point - past it - as we are now, and it just keeps coming?

These are some of the themes the conjunctions to Chiron bring forth. There is no easy answer, just as there was no easy answer for Chiron's wound. No magic pill makes it all better. We're past the point where concessions and tokenism soothe in any form. We don't want to be thrown another bone.

Until the underlying wounding dynamics are truly addressed, rectified, discontinued, no long-term healing is possible. We're just treating symptoms.

And the army of people bleating about victim consciousness and creating your own reality works very effectively, moving us further from the depth of understanding of power dynamics and structures on this planet that would get us to the true healing points. Every flippant use of those concepts is another pound of pressure pinning Sedna down, suffering in betrayal on the ocean floor.

Snapping in and out of overlays, Piscean, then Aquarian, then Piscean, then Aquarian, is demanding and exhausting work - especially for those consciously facilitating the transitions. These themes continue.

Yet, we're on the precipice of something. This is the final Pisces season of the Uranus in Pisces-Neptune in Aquarius mutual reception, which marked the most intensive cross-over period in energetic overlays from astrological Piscean to Aquarian eras. That ends March 11. Done. Finit-o. Something else starts.

We're moving - hurtling through the transition points, actually. There is an excitement and a new vitality growing, spurring us out of the enervating Piscean quagmire. This push-coming-to-shove renewal picks up speed as Jupiter pushes forth into new territory in Aries and into its final square to Pluto in Capricorn February 25.

This movement despite overwhelming emotional anxiety and loneliness attempting to pull us back into what we perceive as safer times-of-yore constructs. The South Node is on the final degree of Cancer before the nodes shift signs March 3, and it's agonizing. The painful lack of foundational support for the feminine is eroding on the deepest levels. There is no denying the difficulty of our emotional conditions at this time.

The movement of the nodes into Sagittarius and Gemini March 3 is a welcome shift, followed by Uranus ingressing Aries March 11 and an uber Arien March Equinox as the Sun joins Mercury and Jupiter, conjuncting Uranus on the first degree of the first sign of the zodiac March 20. Powerful new directions. Stand by.

Jupiter in Aries Puts the Brakes On and Slides Backward Into a Square With Pluto

The quick burst of fiery forward expansion and movement we experienced as Jupiter and Uranus transited Aries over the past couple months has just come to a creaking halt. Jupiter went retrograde in Aries yesterday morning, joining Uranus, and our earliest of Arien progress is now being fused into place (or discarded if it is not to Pluto's liking) by a square to Pluto in Capricorn tonight at 10:20 p.m. Mountain.

We've reached an initial landing point, anchored a crucial starting place for next spring. The Sun in Aries 2011 is our grandscale birth point - at that time, we've reached daybreak, although we do not yet know what the light of day will reveal.

We're just finishing the planting of the initial seed points for the next five years with a six-week cardinal t-square on the early degrees along with the fifth and final Saturn-Uranus opposition July 26. We can all breathe a sigh of relief that that opposition cycle is completing, but we have to make it a quick one - we're being propelled into new territory on multiple fronts. Things are not as they were, and we're getting an instinctual feel for what that means moving forward.

At the same time, we are gradually moving back over this earliest of new territory and into the swampy, highly karmic morass of tail-end Pisces at the tail-end astrological Piscean era. Believe me. Very few of us are looking forward to this. But re-enter it we must. Because we never really left. There is mucho unfinished business – mostly collective, but also personal – including that little situation going on in the Gulf of Mexico. You might have heard something about it?

The reality of this situation has yet to sink in for many (a big part of which being the manipulation of related information through the media), but Jupiter and Uranus transiting back into the last degrees of Pisces – the last degrees of the astrological zodiac – will be a heavy reminder. Uranus Rx re-enters Pisces August 13 and Jupiter Rx September 8.

We're all antsy for movement, but for those who have not yet been released from the inertia and heaviness of two-and-a-half years of Saturn in Virgo opposite Uranus in Pisces, the traversing of Jupiter and Uranus of late Pisces will be a last drawing on of spiritual guidance. Hitting the final marks that click disparate parts into place and light us up with the full Piscean understanding of the situation of life on this planet. In particular, the connection of states of being and shared suffering around the world.

Once infused with this grand finale Piscean awareness, we are given some time to come to a state of acceptance before being spurred fully into new actions and directions indicated by Jupiter (January 2011) and then Uranus (March 2011) re-entering Aries.

As Jupiter and Uranus move back into late Pisces, keeping an eye firmly on our spiritual reasons for being here during these times, as well as on the impermanence of our trips, can help us find the courage to stay effective in the current moment while elevating us out of the oily, toxic mess threatening to pull us under.

We're in a period of potent and dynamic change and upheaval – indicated astrologically by the cycle of squares between Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn (coming to exactness between June 2012 and March 2015). Think late-1920s/1930s vibe – the last time Uranus was in Aries, at that time squaring Pluto in Cancer.

Those who have not adjusted accordingly their actions, goals and personal directions in light of the stark and disturbing information Pluto has been throwing up into collective awareness from Capricorn for the past couple years will have a rough time of these squares. For people still in denial of the collective situation with which we find ourselves confronted on this planet, still attached to a 'business as usual' way of life, these squares will provide wake-up calls, at times unpleasant.

For those who have keyed in to the energy of what is being unearthed by Pluto's transit of Capricorn and have done their best to adjust accordingly, things should have a smoother tenor. As smooth as possible, anyway, which is still not all that smooth, in my estimation.

There is a real soul reckoning afoot. Those complicit within corrupt and murderous structures, those cutting corners, those looking the other way or skimming by while reaping the rewards for doing so are going to be faced with some major decisions about what is truly important to them during their trip to this little planet.

Saturn has just entered Libra (July 21) until October 2012, and our challenges now turn to relationship, social justice and the balanced, working partnership of feminine and masculine. The vehicle for the achievement of our highest potential shifts from self-improvement and mastery (Virgo) to working for balance, harmony and justice through relationship with others (Libra).

With a third and final square to Pluto in Capricorn August 21, the awareness of abusive patriarchal power structures is pushed to the surface, and we have the ability to become conscious of the influence of them in our lives while working to build something more dignified and fair (Libra). This is not going to happen overnight, of course. These are deeply embedded power dynamics that will require a great deal of effort and conscious awareness to shift. But the next two years of Saturn in Libra, followed by a period of mutual reception between Saturn in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn until September 2015, will give us a good start.

Saturn is the planet of, among other things, karmic challenges. Pluto is the sign of collective power dynamics and the necessary transformation of those dynamics. The influence of both these bodies indicates that it is some serious and long-standing karmic territory we are now traversing. Only a full commitment to getting down to brass tacks together, in a loving, mutually-supportive way, is going to go deep enough to truly be effective.

The relationships we enter into now cannot be entered into lightly. We need people in our lives who can be counted on when the chips are down, in light of the times in which we are living. There will be many decisions about what relationships to enter into, what ones to keep and how to restructure them and what ones are no longer viable moving forward.

The skills of the Pluto in Libra generation come strongly into play, also, as Saturn begins its transit of Libra and conjuncts the natal Plutos. Their relationship alchemy and understanding of core relationship realities will be necessary, especially within morphing work structures, and this generation comes into positions of leadership beginning now.

Getting down to brass tacks as far as true compatibility – meeting mutual, soul-deep needs – becomes even more important this fall with the Venus retrograde in Scorpio.
