What follows is a letter/email that includes many hard-hitting research links and can be sent to mayors and town/city councilors, asking for an ordinance to be passed that will stop 5G from coming to the community. This letter can be modified and sent to farmers markets, parents groups, organic grocery stores, health food stores, artists collectives, activist groups, or any other group that might be interested.

Please do your part to help stop this terribly dangerous frequency grid by sending your own letter/email to your mayor and city councilors, asking that they pass an ordinance to stop 5G in your community.  

This letter can also be sent to media outlets and other organizations, as well as to individuals. This is a fight for our lives and our health and for the lives and health of every living thing on this planet.

I'm writing to you today to ask that the City of __________ pass a motion asking the federal government for a moratorium on the rollout of untested and unsafe 5G technology. As the Land Use Authority, I ask that the City of ________ write a letter of non-concurrence to the federal government. Internet and communications are federal areas of jurisdiction, but communities like ________ must push back to stop this terribly dangerous and untested technology from being rolled out here.

5G "super-speed" wireless technology is being rolled out worldwide without any testing that shows its safety for human or animal health or the environment - and despite thousands of peer-reviewed studies that show the ill effects of electromagnetic field exposure, in general. Governments at all levels are currently green-lighting the 5G rollout despite the many studies showing it harms humans, animals, insects, and trees. Just the Science: List of Studies that Prove 5G and 4G Densification Is NOT Safe (and 3G Isn’t Safe Either)

This health damage will be exacerbated greatly by 5G technology, as this "super-speed" wireless technology would expose us to electromagnetic frequency that is many times stronger than the current 4G technology - up to 300 GHz. 5G will be using ultra high-intensity millimetre waves, in addition to the microwave frequencies used by 4G and 3G.

There are plans to saturate communities with many more small cell towers than previous technologies - one tower for every few houses! Each of those towers would produce high levels of electromagnetic radiation.

There are also plans for at least 100,000 new satellites to be put into orbit. These satellites need regular replacement and could come plummeting down to Earth. The satellites are detrimentally disrupting the frequency of the ionosphere and of Earth itself with dangerous artificial frequencies. As of July 2020, there are over 500 of these satellites (the SpaceX StarLink fleet) in orbit.

A 2004 study showed that people were three times more likely to develop cancer if they were living within 400 metres of a cell tower. Because 5G requires so many more towers than 4G, most people on Earth will be living within 400 metres of a tower.

The Italian Ramazzini Institute study, published in 2018, found similar evidence of increased incidence of cancer from non-thermal radiation at legally-permitted levels – levels the United States government and governments around the world currently consider safe. The scientists studied 2,448 rats and showed increased incidence of rare heart tumours in males (schwannoma) and brain tumours in females.

A 2015 study showed that even at low radiation levels, cell phone signals accelerated quicker tumor growth in mice. What's interesting to note is that the tumor-promoting effects in the study were observed at "low to moderate exposure levels (0.04 and 0.4 W/kg SAR), thus well below exposure limits for the users of mobile phones."

In 2004, the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) passed a resolution opposing the installation of cell towers on fire stations. This resolution was passed after increasing complaints from fire fighters about the adverse health effects they experienced from cell towers affixed to the fire stations. The complaints included experiences of sleeplessness, headaches, memory problems, and cognitive impairment. A 2004 brain study of California fire fighters exposed to cell tower radiation over the previous five years showed brain abnormalities, cognitive impairment, delayed reaction time, and lack of impulse control. The resolution eventually included a moratorium on cell towers being placed on fire stations in the United States and Canada.

The IAFF resolution: “The IAFF opposes the use of fire stations as base stations for towers and/or antennas for the conduction of cell phone transmissions until a study with the highest scientific merit and integrity on health effects of exposure to low-intensity RF/MW radiation is conducted and it is proven that such sitings are not hazardous to the health of our members.”

The problem we have in this country today is the absence of adequate recommendation standards, and as a consequence, the corresponding standards that are being used are not applicable to the world we live in today. The FCC safety benchmarks…are antiquated and industry-controlled. We’ve all seen in the past how industry-controlled standards has worked in other industries in the examples given today such as tobacco, chemical fire retardants, etcetera. This is a classic case of the fox watching the henhouse.

We have reviewed over 4,000 studies done by medical professionals that are peer-reviewed that show that there are adverse health effects at levels much less than…what they are saying. Fire fighters are already exposed to a lot of RF radiation, EMFs, and chemical exposure, so much so that cancer is presumptive for us. When will enough be enough? When will we hit our hypersensitivity level? I’m hoping we don’t find out. Please stop these cell towers at our fire stations.”

5G frequencies, including the 60 GHz frequency, will disrupt hemoglobin and oxygen supply in the blood and body. This could cause or exacerbate respiratory-based illnesses. Heart, lung, and kidney problems, among many others, are associated with depleted oxygen levels in the body.

In the video, Dr. Pall shows evidence that exposure to non-ionizing radiation causes lowered fertility; neurological problems like depression, fatigue, insomnia, and memory dysfunction; DNA damage; cell death; increased oxidative stress; and cancer, among others. Dr. Pall also says that pulsed EMFs, like the ones used in wireless technology, are particularly dangerous to biological organisms. He explains why children are more susceptible to health damage from EMF exposure. He also says that many of these effects are cumulative, meaning that they get worse over time with continual exposure to EMFs.

Non-ionizing radiation has been shown to negatively affect the way our cells absorb and regulate calcium. Disrupted calcium levels disrupt the homeostasis in the body, affecting neurotransmitter release, hormone levels, neuronal excitability, and gene transmission. Excess calcium in the body is also known to increase oxidative damage and free radicals. Oxidative stress is a known underlying cause in many illnesses and diseases. The effects of EMF on calcium channels in the body has been shown to cause: single strand DNA breaks, lowered fertility and libido, neurological effects from neurotransmitter dysfunction, apoptosis from increased cellular calcium, lowered steroid hormones leading to lowered hormone synthesis, sleep disruption, and melatonin dysfunction.

This International Appeal draws from some of the 10,000 peer-reviewed scientific studies to demonstrate harm to human health from RF (radio frequency) radiation. Documented effects include: altered heart rhythm, altered gene expression, altered metabolism, altered stem cell development, cancers, cardiovascular disease, cognitive impairment, DNA damage, impacts on general well-being, increased free radicals, learning and memory deficits, impaired sperm function and quality, miscarriage, neurological damage, obesity and diabetes, and oxidative stress.

Documented effects in children include autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and asthma.

Even the ex-head of Microsoft Canada, Frank Clegg, has spoken out about the dangers of 5G technology, including that it uses millimetre waves similar to those used in Active Denial Systems in the United States and Israeli military. Active Denial Systems are directed-energy weapons also called "heat rays" that irradiate people and heat the water in their bodies to an intolerable point, resulting in a sensation of burning skin. Aside from the radiation, there are many concerns from people worldwide regarding the increased surveillance associated with 5G and "SmartCities." This would include facial recognition cameras interspersed throughout communities, as well as video surveillance from 5G satellites. There are plans for everyday objects - everything from garbage cans to tampons - to become wireless devices, each emitting harmful electromagnetic radiation and monitoring and tracking our every move. The rise of artificial intelligence and the use of frequency weapons by military or police forces are additional concerns. The automation of our societies would replace many needed jobs, not to mention removing humanity from day-to-day life.

As you can see from the linked website, insurance companies are refusing to extend coverage for EMF liabilities. This leaves governments, including local governments, open to legal liability.
