Canada's Uranus-Sun in Cancer in T-Square Lock Down within the Uranus-Pluto Square Series

Uranus is picking up steam in Aries, and the global scenario is taut to say the least as it closes in on its first exact square to Pluto.

The first of the seven exact squares between Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn occurs June 24, 2012 and locks the Cancer Sun-Uranus conjunction in Canada's official (corporate) chart into an exact cardinal t-square at 8 degrees of the signs. Uranus will station retrograde at 8 degrees Aries July 13 exactly square the Sun-Uranus in Cancer in Canada's chart, and the cardinal t-square lock down remains strongly in effect through June, July, and August of 2012.

To say Canadians can expect a highly-charged, potentially fractious summer of 2012 would be an understatement. More unnatural disasters, manipulation of weather and crops, globally-integrated war/police state activity, and the fallout from those things are themes, based on cardinal t-square and Grand Cross formations in the past two years.

After two years of weather-manipulated flooding of the Canadian breadbasket, we can expect dry conditions and areas of drought after a surreal winter of record-breaking high temperatures and little snowfall.

The second exact Uranus-Pluto square at 6 degrees follows soon after the first on September 18, 2012, not allowing a reprieve from the tension. The remaining squares (into March 2015) all fall within range of the Canadian Sun-Uranus in Cancer, and we can be certain the government (Capricorn) and military (Aries) of the fair Kanata - a country rich in oil and uranium - will play primary roles in the global proceedings.

From May 8, 2011: "Canada's benign, peacekeeper image, so strategically useful on the world stage, is in the process of being stripped bit-by-bit by a Pluto in Capricorn opposition to its Cancer Sun. Squared by transiting Uranus in Aries, the shocking extent of Canada's role within the global war machine emerges as the facade is stripped. The fundamental understanding of Canada's identity on the world stage - past, present and future - shifts rapidly and repeatedly over the next four years."

Just as the cardinal t-square formation becomes exact (making for one hell of a Canada Day July 1), the Venus Transit in Gemini occurs June 5 exactly conjunct Canada's natal Venus in Gemini at 15 degrees. The Venus Transit - an eclipse of the Sun by Venus - indicates a major relational backdrop change, so suffice it to say Canada's Venus return marks a dramatic re-orientation within its global relations. Canada's dual identity - always in existence, not often prominent - becomes undeniable.

The ambitious, strategizing, cunning twin that has mostly stayed in the background, behind the glad-handing, people-pleasing diplomat, comes screaming to the forefront as the stage continues to be set and booby trapped for more global war. Slick manipulation of media and the slippery shifting of perspectives (Gemini) become primary aces in the hole for the elitist interests holding the people of this country - and the world - hostage.

On the weekend of March 3-4, with Mercury (media) conjunct Uranus in Aries, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper welcomed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Ottawa, exerting himself through the mainstream media as a "staunch ally" of the Israeli regime. This was a strategic verbal (Mercury) act of aggression (Aries) - toward the ghettoized and brutalized Palestinians as much as the Iranians - and, with its connection to Uranus, there will be many more of its kind.

The lean, mean, Global Governing machine is utilizing mainstream media coverage and strategic meetings of its members in the ongoing attempt to create public consent for the bombing of Iran, supposedly over Iran's move to make nuclear weapons under the guise of a nuclear energy programme.

In reality, neighbouring Iraq was bombed into submission during the eight-year Uranus in Pisces cycle using a fake connection to the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center bombings and false reports of Sadaam's weapons of mass destruction. Now, Uranus in Aries heralds the next phase of violent domination of that oil-rich area to secure monied interests.

In front of cameras and reporters in Ottawa, good buddies Stevie and Benji acted out their portions of the script while bosom pal Barry did the same south of the border, reinforcing "his" stance that the U.S. will bomb in order to get its way in Iran. This is nuclear-armed-to-the-teeth U.S. of A. and Israel acting as self-appointed global nuclear watchdogs, with the second largest exporter of uranium in the world (Canada) lending it's diplomatic facade to the proceedings, in case anyone wasn't aware of the context.

The "don't make us bomb you, Iran" script has been played out extensively throughout Obama's stint as President, often with Harper's loyal assistance.

From April 13, 2010: Harper to World: We'll Take Your Nukes...and Give Them to the Only Country Ever to Attack with a Nuke

At the same time, Harper was careful during the recent meeting to reinforce the current U.S. stance: simmer down a little, Netanyahu. Now's not quite the time. Oh, and keep that Persian Gulf oil flowing while you're at it, eh, guys? We'll occupy if you don't.

From a previous post January 11, 2012:

"It doesn't take much to hear (Mercury) the Pluto in Capricorn (corpo-governmental oligarchy) undertone coming through loud and clear these days as we head to the first exact square between Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn this June. The global war profiteers are just itching to get things started, and oil and nuclear take centre stage. Verbal aggression is ramping up (again) through the media from Western governments toward Iran over its nuclear facilities and enrichment of uranium.

As always, the Plutonic insanity is only understood by a minority, as the media-fed mainstream accepts a scenario in which the only country that has ever actually used nuclear bombs in an attack against another country (the U.S. of A.) is instated as armed-to-the-teeth global nuclear watchdog, determining who can and can't have nukes.

U.S. and U.S. Allies: Yes.

U.S.-declared Bad Guys: No.

The hypocrisy is amazing, and still relatively very few will openly admit the Emperor's naked as a jaybird.

The aggression is not limited to the verbal this time, though. The United States (through the United Nations) has brought sanctions against Iran, attempting to force it to discontinue its uranium enrichment program. The sanctions have made it impossible for Iran to continue its international oil exports, leading to the plunge of the Iranian currency to an historic low.

Devastation (Pluto) of currency and business infrastructure (Capricorn).

(Incidentally, don't bother trying to use PayPal or to buy books from Amazon in Syria, either. Both these activities have been blocked as part of the broader and more destructive U.S./EU economic sanctions against that country. People with Syrian IP addresses are told they are in a "forbidden country." A further Pluto in Cap crackdown on the flow of money.)

It might be useful for those in Cancer Sun nations United States and Canada to imagine a role reversal here. One can only imagine the outrage that would ensue if the U.S. economy and the flow of oil in and out were disrupted and interfered with to this extent by a foreign country. After all, the United States enriches uranium for weapons and munitions (and uses them), does it not?

Iran is the fourth largest oil producer in the world with a large percentage of its exports (500,000 barrels per day of its 2.6 million barrels per day output) going to the European Union. This adds an interesting element to the dick-swinging global dynamics. Pluto relates to one's underlying interests and the overwhelming impetus of those underlying interests. The European Union is now forced to implement sanctions that are in the best interests of the United States which, in effect, starve its nations of oil. Iran is now threatening to close the Strait of Hormuz, a key waterway at the mouth of the Persian Gulf that carries about 1/6 of the world's oil supply from the Gulf nations. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz would be met with military aggression from the U.S. and its allies, aggression that would, again, have the seal of approval from the media-fed masses. Transportation routes are Mercurial, and the corpo-governmental steamroller being allowed to progress at all costs is Pluto in Capricorn. This appears to be a primary Uranus square Pluto hot spot. Like clockwork, it is."

Canada is a Mars in Virgo nation with the North Node conjunct Juno also in Virgo. This means Canada is experiencing a powerful Mars Return during the current Mars in Virgo retrograde, as well as a back-and-forth conjunction to its North Node-Juno. Canada is a details (Virgo) nation as far as war and aggression (Mars). It has primarily been a 'fight smarter, not harder' country, and its soldiers are, relatively speaking, highly trained. They're specialists (Virgo). Though the government of Canada did not commit a large number of troops to the invasion of Iraq, for example, a Canadian General helped to plan the invasion up the to highest level of command.

With a Mars Return falling at the time of the retrograde in Virgo, the precise skills of Canada's war machine will, unfortunately, be fully utilized within the global scene over the next two years. At the same time, a Saturn Return in Scorpio is looming for this country (December 2013), and Harper is already bristling under the constraints of Canada's ties to the United States. It looks as if the accelerated merger and integration (Scorpio) of Canada with the U.S. has its down sides after all, even to the Global Governor set. The rejection of the Keystone XL pipeline, which would have moved oil from the ecological and humanitarian catastrophe that is the Athabasca Tar Sands in northern Alberta all the way to Texas, has Harper seeing red, and he is looking to diversify Canada's oil exports (Asia) at the same time as he is re-pledging allegiance to the British Empire.

"In August, 2011, under a Cardinal Grand Cross that will form again throughout the fall of 2013 and in April 2014, it was announced by the "Harper Government" that the Canadian Armed Forces would be rebranded the Royal Canadian Air Force and Royal Canadian Navy.

From a previous post:

"The Canadian Armed Forces shed the "Royal" stamp in 1968, but in a wave of propagandistic nostalgia, the Global Government-aligned Harper Conservatives have brought the "Royal" back with a vengeance, complete with masses of Canadians all too happy to re-pledge allegiance to the Queen and British monarchy. Wartime patriotism and pride are being stirred in preparation and hope that the people will gladly repeat the old cycle, hands on hearts."

Harper continues to do his mightiest to stir the militaristic patriotism of Canadian citizens as he does his part to create consensus for more global war. He's even adding a commemoration of the War of 1812 to this year's Canada Day celebrations in the country's capital city, Ottawa. "Hey, kids! Forget about ice cream. Look at this cool musket!" (You may recall that during Canada Day 2011, again under the Cardinal Grand Cross, the citizens of this country had their Stockholm Syndrome worked into a frothy lather as Wills and Kate came for a visit, also reinforcing the dominion over Kanata of Mummy Dearest in jolly old.)"

The deadly and deadened trajectory of Canada's current political leadership, so outmoded and antiquated in its ridiculous male pissing matches, its pre-written scripts, its corruption, its imbalance, its favouritism, its endless settling of old scores, provides great contrast to the growing Uranian urge for freedom, egalitarianism, and a radical break from the same old pyramid scheme power hierarchies. This contrast, ever-deepening throughout the Uranus-Pluto square series, will inevitably have a freeing effect on many people in this nation as they shake themselves loose and take on their own soul-driven authority. Those who see and understand the illegitimacy of the so-called leaders and their so-called institutions of leadership will have the opportunity to get very clear, breaking out of the complacency and denial common in Cancer Sun nations and drawing out the full power and growth potential of the Uranus-Pluto squares.

Cancer craves protection, comfort, and security often at almost any cost. Uranus forces independence, individuation, rebellion from hierarchical external authority, and breaks from tradition. These are the dueling forces forging this country and the people within it, with Cancer Sun and Uranus locked in exact conjunction.

When the desires for freedom and soul-driven autonomy trump the desires for status quo stasis and (false) security, we're hitting the mark.

The current pressures and forces at play are very apparent as Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn apply intense friction and pressure on the identity and soul of this country. A radical break from the past, from the insidious control of past "protectors," and from ideas of what this country is that no longer fit reality (and in many cases never did) is underway.

At the same time, parallel, the same old war and profit and war-for-profit trajectory is taken by those in positions of stolen power. The power structures of the country itself are in for a shake-up with divisions into stronger regions with stronger regional identities, shedding the idea that what is in the best interests of one province is in the best interests of all others, some thousands of kilometres distant.

In a vast country such as this, the regional interests of provinces and territories and of groups within those provinces and territories are often vastly different. Canada is fracturing under the pressure of an outdated Piscean Era ideal of umbrella unity and a "one size fits all" way of dealing with distinct concerns, issues, and problems. There have always been divisions between north and south, east and west, and among the people within those regions. The only way we ever get to be one big, happy, Aquarian family is by acknowledging and working with the ways in which we aren't. This goes beyond the overly simplistic Piscean Era paradigm of dominant culture versus special interests group, white versus native, white versus immigrant, English versus French.

The true divisions, grievances, and power dynamics are much more complex than that. Money, class, and social privilege, in particular - still kept so invisible within the populace at large - are elements that require a thorough exposure, unearthing, and collective examination as Pluto transits Capricorn. Intricate dissections and assessments are required of who and what the oppressors really are, of what it is that erodes the dignity and decency of human life, past and present.

Many of the "whites" in Canada are here because they had no other choice. They were starving to death in their home countries as the "royalty" and imperialists and upper crust watched, so it was emigrate or die - in many cases, both. Many of these people were also forced off land that had been held by their ancestors for many generations, their own roots also torn violently from the soil, they, too, set adrift in destitution. Rules were abruptly changed or rents were raised to levels they could not pay. People were forced into urban ghettos or onto fringe land that could not sustain life, or they were simply left to starve to death. They were exterminated by epidemics that ran rampant due to the overcrowding and the susceptibility that comes with malnutrition and damp, cold, miserable living conditions.

Those who chose to emigrate - some choice - were packed into stinking, filthy, rotting ships like sardines with double the sane, let alone safe, capacity. They lay on planks nailed to the walls three feet wide by six feet long with two feet of clearance above, and they shared that space with a bed mate. These people often endured two months of abject hell on the open seas. Adequate food and water were overlooked by the ships' owners, and many people starved or died of dysentery or various other illnesses en route.

Once they got to this country, conditions were not much better. The farms they were promised did not materialize, and they were left to fend for themselves through Canadian winters with almost nothing. Many starved or died from related illness or exposure.

Indentured servitude or back-breaking labour on the land, scratching daily subsistence from the dirt, were the choices.

Many of those who speak English today had mother tongues of their own. And many who came straight from England suffered a level of poverty and oppression equal to the suffering of any group.

At this point in human history, it is a rare culture that has not experienced, at a certain class level, hatred of its kind, extermination, intentional starvation, sickening oppression and injustice. There are few groups that have not experienced an upper class that hoarded resources, using them for entertainment, satiation, and frivolity, and watched as they struggled and starved to death. These power dynamics continue today.

As Saturn enters Scorpio and Canada heads to its Saturn Return, the mistreatment and murderous abuse the people have endured, whatever its particular cultural flavour and however dormant, will be stirred in their souls. It has not really gone anywhere. The distance between what people feel in their souls to be true, the remembrances they carry, and the facade reality, the overly simplistic versions of history they are led to accept, become increasingly intolerable.

As we head further into astrological Aquarius, a new ideal of unity emerges based in how we differ as much as in how we are the same. This Aquarian unity takes into consideration fully the different identities, roots, and interests of the individuals, groups, and regions involved and makes them equally important. I matter as much as you do - no more, no less. You matter as much as I do - no more, no less. And we put put this into practise.

Aquarius is about individuality within the group and the requirements and responsibilities of that individuality, and here we have forces that will make crystal clear how one region differs from another, how the people in the regions differ from each other, and how, clear on all that, we can work with the threads of commonality that connect us still as human beings who want to make things better on this planet.

A nation with a Sun-Uranus conjunction like Canada has the potential for true sovereignty, independence, innovation, vision, egalitarianism, and freedom for its citizens. As individuals take on their own autonomy during the Uranus in Aries transit (either willingly or because they are forced by circumstance), answering to a higher authority than the corrupt and deadly pyramid scheme power structures, this nation has the potential to truly become itself, beyond the control and direction of Mummy Dearest in jolly, old England, of Big Daddy U.S.A., or of any other group.

Under the Uranus-Pluto pressure and dynamism, this country can shake free of the false (or at least overly simplistic) ideas of itself as neutral diplomat, as backwater, easy resource haven, as younger, kinder, gentler version of the United States, as protectorate underling. The potential is here.

The energy of the Uranus-Pluto square series can be directed in other ways, re-directed, wrestled away from those who would use it for more violence, destruction, and domination, even as they do their dirty deeds. The emerging fires of identity and self-sovereignty in the people, stoked to a roaring blaze by Uranus in Aries, can stir strong and effective opposition to those who erroneously claim to speak and act for us.

We can reformulate - outside the version of history written about in the textbooks, beyond even the currently held alternative versions - and become what we really are, as individuals and as a group of people forming a nation on this land.

March 8 has been designated International Women's Day. Mercury is stationing retrograde in Aries, the sign of the warrior, conjunct Uranus and square Pluto. Feminine asteroids Vesta and Ceres, along with Black Moon Lilith, also transit Aries. The hatred and attempted domination of women - subtle and not so - is apparent in many forms around the globe on this day, and the trashing of those evil feminists is currently rampant.

Regardless of this scene, with the feminine energy in Aries, women - and men who know the score on the feminine front - need to exert themselves. We need to match the aggression with an even louder rattling of our sabres to alter the trajectory that has been set.

Stop the war.

Stop the war.

Stop your fucking war.

Willow, you deserved far more applause and comments here. This was, in my opinion, your best social political piece thus far. Cudo's to you for mentioning Israel's obvious push for war. When you mentioned Israel and Binny the rat nitwityahu, the real prime minister of Canada, something ringed in my ears.

I will definitely pay some more attention to the social political pieces here....... Keep up the good work dear.

Sorry, you are correct, there is a Ralph Goodale in Saskatchewan, and it's Ralph Clyne, whom was the premier of Alberta.

My apologies.
