Entering a Period of Beneficial and Inspirational Re-Structuring

** Happy Equinox, and Happy Astrological New Year! **

We're now entering a period of time when both malefic planets - Mars and Saturn – will put on the brakes and turn retrograde within a loose conjunction to each other.

Saturn (structure, long-term progress, delays) stations retrograde at 16 degrees Sagittarius on March 25 for a retrograde period that lasts until the direct station August 13 at 9 degrees Sagittarius.

Mars (action planet) stations retrograde on April 17 at 8 degrees Sagittarius for a retrograde period that lasts until the direct station June 29 at 23 degrees Scorpio.

As stated, Mars and Saturn will station retrograde within a loose conjunction to each other, and this fusion of energy and themes colours the next few months.

Mars is not too happy about this traveling companion through the zodiac, however. Saturn often brings with it blocks, delays, and obstacles - albeit necessary ones - while Mars likes quick, unfettered movement and direct action toward goals. Saturn can be a bit of a damper on the blazing will and activity of Mars, and because of the potential frustration associated with this, we may be looking for any sort of movement that we feel will bring temporary relief.
