The Sun entered tropical Capricorn at 5:12 a.m. Central Standard Time this morning, marking winter solstice in the northern hemisphere. We now officially tip back toward the Sun and daylight hours start to increase. Always a nice day to observe.
All the best to you and yours for the holidays and for 2013 from the winter wonderland that is Saskatchewan! And yes, these pictures were taken during broad daylight.
I'm taking a break from doing readings next week for the holidays.

Aren't these pics Tim Burton-ish? Icy creepy!
I love your photos!
Is this the neighborhood where you live?
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you.

Willow's Web rules!
Thanks!
This is the farm in Saskatchewan where I grew up. No neighbourhood to be found, but there are a few other farms sprinkled around! I'm staying here until spring.
Happy 2013 going out to rain-soaked San Fran!
