Happy Juno Day with Chiron on 29 Pisces!
Love and love and love and love!

Happy Juno/Valentine's Day from your anarchist astro-reporter!
This is our final Juno Day of the Chiron in Pisces transit, and it just so happens that the wounded healer is on the very last degree of Pisces this February 14th, which is the very last degree of the entire zodiac.
These are the master lessons about both the healing and the wounding potential of love on this planet. This Juno Day is ripe for some profound realizations about real love versus the illusory or overly-idealized versions that have run rampant during the final century or so of the astrological Piscean era.
The influence of Chiron on the complex and potent anaretic degree of Pisces this Juno/Valentine's Day indicates there may be a little of that old school "dashed romantic ideals and disappointment" nipping at people. This is a throwback to the astrological Piscean era when fairy tale romances and Disney prince/princess dreams (often manufactured for us by nefarious social engineers) created a perfectly terrible clash of artificial, pie-in-the-sky ideals with human, Earth-bound realities.
Well, folks, I'm here to tell you that with Chiron on the 29th degree of Pisces, about to blaze into Aries on February 17, that version of idealized and impossible-to-maintain-on-a-daily-basis love is a thing of the past! Poof! It's a relic. An outdated fantasy. And it's being banished to the maya realms where it belongs.
If Chiron on 29 Pisces this Juno Day has any message it would like to remind us of, it's this: love is all around us. It sustains us every day in every way - whether it is love for God (or whatever word you use for your higher power), love for family and friends, love for a significant other, love for co-workers, love for your community and fellow human beings, love for animals, love for plants, love for self, love for the work you do, or a combination of all of these.

Mercury-Black Moon Lilith Contacts, Censorship, and Reporting From the Fringes
Media and communication planet Mercury forms an exterior conjunction to the Sun in Aquarius today (6:52 p.m. PST) at 9 degrees.
These bodies continue travelling in conjunction until Mercury enters Pisces on February 10. The Sun and Mercury are also forming conjunctions to Black Moon Lilith (BML), the point of deep, dark, denied feminine experience.
This indicates that the Sun is shining its light on outsider (BML) information (Mercury) and on those who write, speak, and share that information.
Reporting from the fringes!
Mercury-Black Moon Lilith contacts can indicate perspectives that are inflammatory or disturbing to a more mainstream or establishment mindset (even pseudo-alternative varieties), and these outsider perspectives can sometimes create hostile backlash for the marginalized messengers.
There's some bounce-back, some rejection, some ejection, some circling of the wagons associated with Black Moon Lilith, and when winged messenger Mercury is involved, this particularly relates to information, ideas, and communication.
As a person with a prominent Mercury-Black Moon Lilith contact in the natal chart, I'm offering up an illustrative tale here from my 20-year experience as a writer and reporter who has always, through no intention of my own, had a very hard time getting my work included in the public discourse - both mainstream and alternative versions.
Before I became the ass-kicking anarchist astro-reporter whose words you are reading here today (heh), I briefly worked in mainstream media. I have an undergraduate degree in journalism and communications from the University of Regina, Saskatchewan. But even way back in journalism school, the BML writing was on the wall.
I came to understand quite quickly that the media outlets as they existed would not allow me to do the work I needed to do. I knew they wouldn't accept my perspective or the perspectives of people like me as fully legitimate, as deserving of a voice and a real place at the table.

Jupiter Square Neptune and the Importance of Seeing Through Neptunian Glamour
As we are now almost ten years on, I would extend this necessary puncturing of glamour to celebrity of all kinds, as well as to pseudo-alternative controlled opposition, particularly of the puffed-up, "Truth-Teller (TM)" ilk.
Jupiter in Sagittarius (truth, wisdom, teachers) is within range of a square to Neptune in Pisces (illusions, deception, glamour) into November of 2019, and this keeps the maya-penetrating themes at the forefront.
Too many people these days have their own precious minds and thoughts enmeshed in charismatic wannabe gurus and figureheads, following rather than taking independent action.
I outlined the themes of the Jupiter-Neptune square in my November 5, 2018 patron article on Jupiter in Sagittarius, titled, "Jupiter Enters Home-Sweet-Home Sagittarius: Dismantling Illusions, Deceptions, and the Stranglehold of Controlled Opposition With the Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing But the Truth."
I also posted an excerpt from that article on the public blog, called, "Jupiter Square Neptune and How to Spot Controlled Opposition."

Planet of concrete challenges, Saturn, is within orb of a conjunction to Hell-ruler Pluto throughout 2019. As this conjunction tightens, becoming exact a single time on January 12, 2020, we are confronted in our concrete lives and realities with all that has been suppressed, manipulated, lied about, and buried (Pluto) within business, corporations, finance, government, and institutions (Capricorn). Things are coming to a head on multiple fronts throughout 2019 and 2020 under the slow-burn effects of this Saturn-Pluto conjunction, and the toxicity and violence inherent in many of the structures and hierarchical pyramid-schemes of power on Planet Earth cannot be denied.
Saturn relates to what is real, what is concrete, what is tangible, and as it steps further into the murky, netherworld regions of Pluto, we are faced with real, concrete, and tangible confrontations with some of the hellish scenarios that have been manufactured for us on this planet. These confrontations will require some type of effort on our parts in order to liberate ourselves from their weight.
Whatever Plutonic threads are being plucked in your life, I encourage you to follow them to their roots and address them, working toward concrete solutions both in your own personal life and within human society at large. The personal is transpersonal and vice versa.
Saturn conjunct Pluto in Capricorn requires that we work, step-by-step, for our liberation from the many manufactured and manipulated Hell-scenarios currently running amok. It requires that we demand something better, something more honest, something wholly legitimate, and that we do so from right where we stand.
Our efforts toward liberation from the muck and the murk are not futile (far from it!), despite what we may have been conditioned to think...

A Re-post for the Upcoming Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in Leo at Perigee: The Anti-Hype Full Moon Report
I would say Full Moons are the most over-hyped astrological events, in general. And Full Moon total lunar eclipses at perigee! Well, those can whip things up into a real frenzy.
Please recall: we experienced pretty much this exact astrological event (a Full Moon total lunar eclipse at perigee in Leo) in January 2018. The main difference is that this upcoming lunar eclipse is the first Full Moon of the year, and the one we experienced in January 2018 was the second Full Moon in the calendar month, making it a "Blue Moon."
So you can pretty much just rinse and repeat for the upcoming eclipse with the following article.
I'm not saying this event is not notable. I'm just saying it's not hype-worthy.

Saturn in Capricorn and the Applying Saturn-Pluto Conjunction in 2019
What follows is a patron article on the Saturn in Capricorn transit that was first released to Willow's Web Astrology patrons on July 7, 2017.
I'm publishing this article on the public blog today (with the Sun and Saturn in a New Year's Day conjunction at 11 degrees Capricorn ahead of a January 5 New Moon at 15 degrees Capricorn (5:28 p.m. PST) conjunct Pluto) because the themes are highly relevant as Saturn transits Capricorn in an applying conjunction to Pluto throughout 2019.
Many of the simmering themes of the Pluto in Capricorn transit that I've been writing about over the past 11 years (80 articles and counting!) will be coming to a head as the Saturn-Pluto conjunction tightens. In light of this, I offer my work here (slightly updated for this re-publishing) as a navigational tool for any challenges up ahead. Being prepared with strong astrological back-up is a key for success in 2019 and always, and you will find no stronger astrological back-up for these challenging times than at Willow's Web Astrology!
Thank-you to all Willow's Web Astrology patrons for supporting me to do this type of in-depth astrological work and writing. It would not be possible otherwise.

A Blessed Solstice To You!
Stone zodiac art and photos by Willow
Shhhh. Quiet.
Quieter.
Just be in the profoundly still.
Breathe. Soak in these darkest days, these meditative rays.
Our energy has turned inward; outer activity is cosmically subdued for these few precious days before we turn back to the light.
Don't resist.
Don't force yourself to keep up with The Machine.
This is nature's time clock. This is real time. At your ancient core, it is impossible to ignore, no matter what the tick-tocking clock on the wall tells you, no matter how jam-packed your schedule.
Finish what you have to finish. Gracefully clear your slate, and do it well. But don't add anything else, anything extra. There will be plenty of time for that next month, next year.
For now, be still. Take your reward of this contemplative time, this stillness, this rest, for a job well done.
As the Sun enters Capricorn December 21, marking the shortest day of the year in the northern hemisphere, the Moon is growing full, peaking on the zero degree Cancer cardinal point on December 22 (9:48 a.m. PST). Under this initiating Full Moon, this is a solstice of particular emotional richness, of exceptional inner illumination. This is a time of quiet soul-urgings, of ancient emotional pulls, and it's these we should be heeding and following now. These lead us into that state of grace which feels like what we call 'home.' Our true home. The source.
Venus in Scorpio, free of retrograde shadow backwash, forms a flowing trine to Neptune in Pisces at 13 degrees of the signs on December 21, an indicator that this solstice is an even stronger point of high spiritual wonder than usual. Mystical meanderings are at work in our lives, in our hearts, in our relationships, and in our contacts with the society around us. Love comes to us through strange and wonderful channels. The universe winks at us, communicates divine insights to us through interactions with others. The etheric realms are lit up, humming, singing with energy that spills out into our physical lives. The veil between dream life and waking life is thinner, more transparent, than usual this solstice, to the point that we can almost reach through one to touch the other. The dream state bleeds into the waking state, and the waking state bleeds into our dreams. The most deeply-felt and deeply-needed connections (psychic, if not physical) are being made this solstice, almost effortlessly, guided by a divine hand.
Winged messenger Mercury forms a conjunction to Jupiter at 9 degrees Sagittarius this December 21, as well. This marks a solstice-time when our conscious minds are immersed in the wonder and awe of it all. Few words are spoken; much is understood. Some fairly grand realizations and profound understandings are absorbed into our minds as if by osmosis. This is a time when our words and the information or perspectives we have to share may have a stronger impact than usual, especially when related to big picture issues. This Mercury-Jupiter conjunction in Sagittarius indicates a bit of a Cosmic Megaphone Effect as we close out this calendar year with no real requirement on our parts to speak longer or louder than usual. All that is required is the truth, the reverent truth as we stand on this Earth under these solstice skies. Grace is all around us. How remarkable it all is.
