Coronavirus: Neutralizing the 'Terror of Contagion' with Mercury Retrograde in Pisces

From the February 12, 2020 article, "Mercury Retrograde in Pisces: Mental Spaciness and Chaos Firmly Anchored By Some Earthy Assistance"

"The illusions are thick. The maya threatens to engulf us. It's hard to tell what's real from what's fake on the world stage and even, at times, on a personal or social level. Even people with highly-refined and built-in bullshit detectors could have a hard time with the swirly-whirly mental states, cloudy thinking, and gaping blind spots indicated by Mercury retrograde in the sign of its detriment."

Mercury is the planet related to media, information, communication, and the mind. It's also considered a trickster. Mercury is currently retrograde (February 16 - March 9) in the sign of its detriment, Pisces, which is a sign related to illusion, deception, confusion, dispersion, and contagion.

Mercury stationed retrograde in mid-February in a conjunction to Neptune in Pisces, which indicates an exacerbation of the foggy veil dropped over mental and communication-based activities.

Basically, the Mercurial function is highly challenged and burdened at the moment - to the point of exhaustion - and the creation of Public Worry Number One in world media, the coronavirus pandemic, reflects this.

I'm terribly sorry if anyone has been negatively affected by this situation. That said:

When a subject hits worldwide media across all sources with the ferocity of the coronavirus, it is almost certain to be part of an orchestrated agenda of some kind. This is just how corporate mainstream media works. Media ownership is highly consolidated. A few mega-corporations own all the television stations, radio stations, and newspapers, as well as many of the big-name internet news outlets. Mainstream media is a propaganda tool for the power establishment, a tool of manipulation, suggestion, mesmerism, and mind control. It broadcasts the same messages, the same information, the same "official sources," and the same images into the minds of viewers, listeners, and readers across all media platforms with only minor differences in perspective allowed.

"Big stories" like the coronavirus pandemic dominate the minds of the public and the collective discourse in this way, creating a situation of widespread terror, fear, worry, and panic. In this state of emotional and mental chaos, people are much more susceptible to top-down control from "authority figures." They're looking for someone to "do something!" and will fall in line behind instruction, guidance, or orders coming from top-down sources that they consider to be powerful authorities.

Happy 12th Birthday, Willow's Web Astrology Blog, at the Jupiter Return!

Willow's Web Astrology blog birth chart - February 25, 2008

Willow's Web Astrology blog is 12 years old today! This is a milestone birthday because it coincides with the blog's Jupiter Return in Capricorn in the 3rd house.

Capricorn is a sign that relates to perspective gained through experience, an exalted view that comes as we survey all that has come before. At a Jupiter Return, we're surveying, in particular, the past 12 years.

Through it all - a catastrophic health condition; poverty; multiple moves; multiple supplemental jobs; break-ups; deaths in the family; censorship; being plagiarized; being mocked, attacked, and discounted; even being straight-up disowned for a time by a family who thought I had gone plumb crazy for doing this work - I practised astrology and wrote this site. I researched and I studied and I wrote and I practised. It was the single common thread that I could follow through this bumpy-ass, seemingly disjointed, often incendiary life, and I wrote my way through all of it. I wrote a path for myself through a life on a planet that I, at times, didn't know if I wanted to exist on. And I hope this writing has helped its readers on their paths through life on this planet, too. That was always and always will be the goal: helping other people through at the same time as I help myself through.

Capricorn is a sign related to status, prestige, and public recognition for one's efforts, and these themes have certainly been challenges. Blog articles are definitely considered less prestigious in the mainstream than writing a book or reporting for the nightly news - though I do not personally agree with those perceptions.

Writing in general has become very devalued in this digital age when every Tom, Dick, and Harry with a lifestyle blog or Twitter account considers themselves a writer. People have come to expect ever-updating, easy access "content" (I really dislike that term) for free because there's so much of it out there. (Quantity has certainly usurped quality, however...)

Quick and Easy Chia Seed Hot Cereal Recipe - Low Carb, Low Glycemic, Alkaline, and Helps to Remove Heavy Metals

It can be challenging to find breakfast foods when you're on a restricted diet, but this is a quick and easy breakfast recipe that is low in carbohydrates, low glycemic, dairy and gluten-free, and high in protein while also being alkalizing and a good source of fibre.

Quick and Easy Chia Seed Hot Cereal

2 TBSP chia seed

3/4 cup of water (filtered preferable)

chopped Granny Smith apple (I use about 1/3 of a medium apple)

pecan pieces

wild blueberries (I use frozen or freeze dried berries)

cinnamon to taste

Other possible additions: raspberries, walnuts, ground flax seed, coconut cream or coconut milk

If you don't have to worry about carbs and sugars, you could add raisins, dried cherries, and/or maple syrup.

Put two tablespoons of chia seed in a medium saucepan. Add 3/4 of a cup of water, or a little less if you like thicker cereal. Stir the chia seeds and water until there are no clumps, and let the mixture sit for 5 or 10 minutes. The seeds will absorb the water. Stir again, and turn the heat on low-medium under the saucepan. Add the apple and cinnamon. Bring to a slight simmer. Add the pecan pieces (they get a bit soggy if you add them earlier). Simmer for a couple minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more water if it gets too thick or starts to stick to the pot. When the apple is slightly soft, toss in the raspberries and mix gently.

Voila! A super easy hot breakfast that is good for even low carb and low sugar diets. (Granny Smith apples and berries are low-glycemic fruits.)

I will admit - this hot cereal on its own won't stay with you for very long. I usually eat a hard-boiled egg and the rest of the Granny Smith apple with peanut butter along with this cereal, and that sticks to the ribs a bit longer.

I make mine on the runnier side so it doesn't stick to the saucepan. Hot tip: after you eat, rinse the saucepan and your bowl and spoon immediately because this stuff sticks like glue if it dries.

I consider myself neither a talented nor an enthusiastic cook, so if this recipe is simple enough for me, it's simple enough for almost anyone!

This recipe is also good for removing heavy metals in the body. The chia seed, Granny Smith apple, and wild blueberries are all good options for this.

Mercury Retrograde in Pisces: Mental Spaciness and Chaos Firmly Anchored By Some Earthy Assistance

Mercury retrograde: February 16 to March 9
12 degrees Pisces to 28 degrees Aquarius

Communication and intelligence planet Mercury stations retrograde at 12 degrees Pisces on February 16 (4:54 p.m. PST), flanked by Black Moon Lilith at 5 degrees Pisces and Neptune at 17 degrees Pisces.

The illusions are thick. The maya threatens to engulf us. It's hard to tell what's real from what's fake on the world stage and even, at times, on a personal or social level. Even people with highly-refined and built-in bullshit detectors could have a hard time with the swirly-whirly mental states, cloudy thinking, and gaping blind spots indicated by Mercury retrograde in the sign of its detriment.

The bizarre glitches, strange contacts, and general high weirdness began in earnest when Mercury entered the retrograde shadow on February 2. The winged messenger moved into Pisces on February 3, and all logic-based bets were off.

In particular, the thoughts, ideas, conversations, dreams, connections, and interactions we've experienced since February 2 will be coming back up for review, but during the retrograde through this final and most ethereal sign, we may be going back over the etheric wake of any previous conversation or exchange of words that has lingered in the psychic air.

Any thoughts, verbal/written exchanges, or connections that are still haunting us or creating a psychic disturbance of some kind could be re-visited during the Mercury in Pisces transit, which extends to April 10.

Mercury finds it a bit tough in the sign of the fishies, and a retrograde in this sign only adds to the mental and verbal struggle. This is an astrological indicator associated with a stronger potential for cloudy, messy, dreamy, or illogical thinking. It can be difficult to find precise words. We're certainly not the sharpest of thinkers under Mercury Rx in Pisces, especially with a retrograde station conjunct Neptune and Black Moon Lilith. There's a temptation to daydream or fantasize. It's more difficult to stay on top of the time or the date. Details may be slipping through our sieve-like minds like water, and it can be difficult to stay focused on the material here-and-now.  A little extra effort is required to keep things running as smoothly as possible.

Attempting to maintain our usual mental sharpness, quickness, and efficacy, especially in jobs that involve intense detail work or working with the public, could be downright exhausting under these influences. There's a requirement to simply surrender to the (temporarily) fuzzier and flowier thinking.

Compilation Article: Things that Have Helped in My Recovery From Fluoroquinolone Antibiotic Poisoning

Like hundreds of millions of other people on this planet, I'm pharmaceutical-injured.

I have a chronic health condition called Fluoroquinolone Antibiotic Toxicity Syndrome. It was caused by the antibiotic Cipro (Ciprofloxacin), produced by Bayer Corporation, and there is literally not a single day that I do not struggle in some way with the damage done by this drug. Some days that struggle is epically harsh, and some days it's more of an annoyance, but it's never not there.

I never should have been prescribed something as dangerous as Cipro for a mild urinary tract issue, but I was. Fluoroquinolones have been erroneously prescribed for minor infections for over 30 years now, making the pharmaceuticals corporations big bucks in exchange for our health, well-being, and even lives. (Fluoroquinolone antibiotics have killed hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.)

The labels were changed on fluoroquinolones in the U.S. in 2016 and in Canada in 2017 to say that they are too dangerous to be used for minor, uncomplicated infections, but this information, unfortunately, has not trickled down to the medical establishment across the board. They're still being prescribed for minor infections on a daily basis.

I'm one of millions of people experiencing this type of health devastation after taking a fluoroquinolone antibiotic.

I've been fighting to regain my health since being poisoned in December 2009. I've written about it on the blog, and I've also done YouTube videos on the subject.

This article is a compilation of things that have helped me in my recovery process. I'm far-and-away better than I was in the first years of this reaction. In fact, I was bed-ridden for much of those early years. These days, it's rare for me to spend even part of the day in bed - although I do get a lot more sleep than most people!

PLEASE NOTE: I'm sharing what has worked for me over a ten year period of intense trial and error. Recovery and healing are an ongoing process for me, and I'm always learning new things and making adjustments. You can take what makes sense for you and disregard the rest. I am not suggesting that anyone follow this to the letter, nor am I promoting a certain diet or plan. Everyone's body is different, and what helps one person may harm another person. This includes things like natural supplements, holistic treatments, and foods. It's up to you to experiment in order to determine what your body needs to heal. Tap in to your body's reactions, and follow what they're telling you. This is my own personal story only, and please take it as such.

Parallels Between the Aquarius Stellium of February 1962 and the Aquarius Stellium of February 2021

New Moon in Aquarius within six-planet stellium (along with asteroid Pallas Athene) with Venus and Jupiter conjunct - February 11, 2021

We're halfway through the first Aquarius season of this new decade, but the Aquarius season really drawing my attention at the moment comes in 2021 when we experience a 23-degree New Moon in Aquarius within a historic six-planet stellium that occurs with benefic planets Venus and Jupiter exactly conjunct at 12 degrees.

We start moving to that Aquarian high point at spring equinox of 2020, as Saturn ingresses Aquarius on March 21, 2020 for an initial stint in the sign that will last three-and-a-half months. The Saturn ingress is part of a broader Aquarian infusion that will be experienced between 2020 and 2023 as Saturn, then Jupiter, and finally Pluto ingress the sign of the water-bearer.

As part of that Aquarian infusion, we will experience a historic conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn at zero degrees Aquarius on December 21, 2020 (winter solstice), followed by the Aquarius New Moon at 23 degrees on February 11, 2021 within six-planet stellium (Sun, Moon, Mercury Rx, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn, along with asteroid Pallas Athene). As stated, benefic planets Venus and Jupiter will be exactly conjunct in Aquarius on the day of the New Moon, indicating an entry point into a powerful period of social, cultural, and philosophical change.

The six-planet stellium in Aquarius in February 2021 has parallels to a seven-planet stellium in Aquarius experienced in February 1962 that was heralded as the official beginning of the Aquarian Age.

We are in the early years of a new decade now, as we were then, that will involve explosive social, cultural, and technological growth and change. The Aquarius stellium in 1962 included a New Moon total solar eclipse at 15 degrees Aquarius, marking a simultaneous anchoring point and launch point for the major cultural shifts experienced during the 1960s. We can view the New Moon and six-planet stellium in Aquarius in February 2021 as a similar anchoring/launching point for major cultural and societal changes in the 2020s.

Though the impulse toward and desire for better conditions for humanity were real within much of the public in the 1960s, we also saw, during that decade, a strong element of social and cultural engineering, along with the infiltration and co-optation of the true counter-culture.

On the surface, people were riding the wave of the Grand Humanitarian Future being brought to us (ostensibly) through the peace-and-love hippies, the counter-cultural icons of music, art, and literature, and the grand, inspirational political speeches being broadcast into the shining eyes of television viewers.

Underneath that Grand Humanitarian Front, however, the same insidious agenda was being furthered through the same insidious power structures.
